I was an old player that went through all the stages-the death stage, too, yes-and I came back after such a long time to be in the grind/chill stage again. You can come back. You can take a break, you can miss out on things, because it’ll all be exciting when you come back. It’ll give you purpose. It’s okay if you lose past friends online-you’ll meet new ones. Let go of the game when it’s not fun. You can always come back.
You're right- what you said is right. We can still replay the quests even after they're done, I believe (Sanctuary and up). And even if we miss the cosmetics in our absence, it gives us a reason to come back for them when they eventually become free. And there will always be more to come too as long as TGC updates the game. I give you a bow of thanks for your insight, as I have been quite a tryhard for wanting to collect EVERYTHING despite not liking some of the items. I wish you luck on your journey 🦋

ah, the sweet bliss of being a moth. nothing to worry about, all you know was the realm cosmetics, seasonal spirits are something you haven't discover yet. all you do is explore, find new areas to play around in, get amazed by new pretty places that you stumble upon accidentally, and tryng to play the harp for the first time. oh to seek that feeling once again.
I started in the middle of season of remembrance. I remembered collecting the seasonal candles without understanding what it was for. Then the moment I learned, *I was a changed moth.* 1st & 2nd stage started the same time for me, not until I reached 3rd stage that I finally ventured to Eden and graduated for the first time 😂😂😂
Tbh I'm scared to get to that point but also don't wanna stop playing. Why is life so hard. Sky is one of the few things that makes me happy, and there aren't many MMOs like it
I'm mostly in the chilling phase. But I have an alt account now (that I accidentally created by forgetting to link my google account to my Nintendo account before playing on Switch so I had to create a whole new Nintendo account to compensate) and I use it to help with daily quests and trading hearts with myself. Because my alt has jack diddly items and I want it to look like a moth, I'm back to grinding again on that account . . . sort of. But the difference between now and when I started is that it's pure practicality now. I don't really like grinding anymore.
@@honezone2266 well, you have to find ways to get Hearts! Either from the constellations from spirits, you can also get hearts from message boats or meditation messages. You can also do heart trades, go ask a friend or two to help you get hearts, make sure you always gift them hearts in return ^^
I'm in a phase that I'll call "Void" It's basically the grinding phase but you don't grind, and the only thing you can do is wait for your friends to come online, if they do at all.
Awe this makes me think of my best friend in sky. I lost that account now but I always smiled when I was with her. Sky is the best place to make friends just by doing stupid things with other people

Also remember that you can come back to Sky. That’s what I did. I left it around the middle of the season of Enchantment, but redownloaded it a few days ago. It’s so fun to come back to so many new areas and spirits, and collecting all the emotes again is awesome! So remember you can come back. Take a break for a few months or a year and you’ll come back so many new things!

I've been playing for over a year now since enchantment and have only finished one constellation. If you want to slow your inevitable death stage, don't rush into getting everything. Though it's also inevitable to accumulate a lot of candles these days since candle running is easier, so do whatever with your spendings. If you don't spend too much time on finishing all the constellations, you can later spend your candles when you have the leisure to. (Except for wing buffs, get those nodes unlocked as soon as you can!) Another tip I can give is have a budget for your candles. At minimum 130-200 candles for friend cost, Traveling Spirit cost, seasonal events, and such. This way you'll find yourself in the thrill and panic in candle running to always recollect your stuff, but also prepared for high spending. If you can't candle run a lot and want to be comfortable, try 350-400 candles at max. This way it's easier to recover even from spending too much and also still keep you semi active with your candle runs. Personally I just.... Don't see the thrill having so much candles where you can have everything and yet there's nothing left for you to use it.
since i’ll never go to eden, and started playing near the end of 2022 days of bloom, i have a certain goal: get every item that doesn’t require ascended candles. when i say every item, i don’t mean every item including seasonal ones. if you’re bored with what to do, and nearing the end of exploration phase, just know there’s plenty to do without going to eden.
I guess I'm in the chill phase. The only way I'll probably reach the death phase is if one day Sky shuts down, or the developers stop coming up with updates and events... Or if I break my phone and miss out on whatever future events that may show up. 👀 Sky is like temporary relief and escape to me so I'll play as much as I can whenever I have the time to.
T-this is so sad and so relatable😭 When you start seeing old TS return and close friends leaving the game, it really hits hard. Soon you struggle to log in every day because you're just so busy with real life. Then you log in for the last time and you didn't even know. Its been almost 6 months since I took a break from Sky to focus on my studies and I don't know if i'll ever return.(T^T)

I started playing sky a month after its offical release, and damn it's surprising how you got all the phases right. Right now I'm kind of at the death phase, but I still check on the game. Sometimes I see friends I haven't seen for a while and I truly enjoy the game at these moments. Sometimes I even do candle runs and seasonal quests. But sky holds a different place in my heart. When I first started playing I had like no friends at school and meeting so many nice people in sky really made my day back then. Seeing them still does to this day :)
In real life people can be such jerks like 90% of the time, I feel like for some reason everyone in sky is super nice. It's a nice breath of fresh air.

I joined the game around June 2020, and I had loads of fun for months ! Then I got bored, candle running every single day got tiring and I simply didn’t have time for the game, so I went inactive for about 5-6 months. Now, I’m back ! I forgot loads of songs that I’ve learnt before, I don’t quite remember my old candle run routes and my flying is absolutely atrocious, but I’m learning again, and I’m having fun. Remember that it’s okay to take breaks !! Don’t force yourself to do something you don’t like :)
When I first started, which was during around season of sanctuary, my goal was to be a veteran. A year has passed and I somehow miss my moff days, but I can still dress up as a moff though haha but I sometimes wish I could experience the "new player confusion" again xD

One of my closest sky friends haven't been playing much since the start of this season, she only ever comes online to light her constellations then she's gone again. I watched this video 2 years ago when i was in a grinding-chill phase and made a comment lost to time, i went past death phase and... I thought i quit, my friends stars never lit up again, untill recently they did. And it felt so nostalgic, people say theres moths from oldest seasons... I was a performance moth and.... It feels so surreal to be in sky, its a part of me now, starting off being shy in real life, making friends in sky, close ones and becoming more social in real life. Sky became the thing that... Changed my life? So not all good things come back the way you want it to. But it comes the way... That you needed it to be.....
i played cotl all quarantine and postquarantine, it was a magic experience, and i made a lot of friends, today i decided to reinstall it, and when i opened it and saw all my cosmetics and all my friends constellations i couldnt contain my tears, i will always have a place for this game in my heart

As a dream moth, I can already feel the boredom creeping in. The feeling of doing the same thing again and again. But I still feel so calm and peaceful when playing sky. Heh, during my exploration phase I also tested stuff out, I brought dark crabs to dust free crabs and vice versa in sanctuary (they help each other up). I think I'm in my getting phase but I rarely do an entire candle run, I mostly try to get all three chevrons gone but I'm fine with only two being gone and I don't feel any pressure to get the gray/grey candle meter. It's a great game and good for me emotionally and mentally but I'm growing bored. I've barely started my journey and I've already grown weary of the trek.
Same, feel you. I keep grinding for outfits and stuff but then In ask: Like why? I always imagine myself fast forward half a year, where I'm gonna have everything I wanted and then? Just nothing. It's not important. What rather is important are your friends there, that's why I keep playing personally (:
I felt the same way after about a month and a half of daily grinding and exploration. I recommend taking a complete break and waiting for a new season to start so you can experience things with fresh eyes!
I'm also a dream moth. I'm still kind of in the grind phase... But I kind of also just feel so board when playing solo. If im with friends I love spending hours in sky! But if none are online... I just don't want to play. The game itself has lost its sparkle to me, not by fault of the developers, but daily repetition can damage any enjoyment and love for something. I feel genuinely sad about that, because the game itself helped me in so many ways when I started playing. I was in a bit of a dark Time then. But I just wish I could experience it through new eyes again... Anyway. I relate to how you feel

Sky is all about friends, if you focus on grinding for cosmetics you'll get bored. I did that then I just started trying to be friends with as many people as possible, helping moffs and having veterans help me. Completely changed my boredom around. First thing I look for in sky is to see who's online not where am I gonna CR and daily. Way more fun that way.
when i was a pure moth, im in the 'pure moth phase' and 'exploration' because i want to play the game slowly. now im in grinding phase and learning flower dance on piano😆 second last edit before dying phase: I played since 12 July 2021, End of assembly season. Today, 29 September 2021, im in chill phase and just cr quest realm and geyser sometimes. Thank you!! To everyone i met in sky, even tho we are not friends or if we are friends and language barrier separate us, when the day we will never meet again comes, i just want you all to know that im so grateful that i met you all and will cherish our moments together... 9 Jan 2022: Im in dying phase amd i have to focus on my last highschool examination... At this point i have valley, forest and gw elder hair :') and probably will continue after exam
I also explored while in my pure moth phase, because I'm the type of player that tries to find all the little hidden things that people put in their games. Which led me to Sanctuary while only having 3 wedges, 4 by the time I got done with the quests on the island. Took the long way up to the sky waterfall and the exit about 3 times. XD
@@kannraorhara Ohhh lmaoo i rmr my moth times when i first enter sanctuary, i tried to land on one of the small islands to discover the nearest places before entering the main island. I had to swam(very boring) bcs i dont have any wing power left. I even swam around the island too, my phone became a hot toast afterwards -_-
All the realms *excluding eden Are super replayable in my opinion. Every time I candle run, I just take in all the visuals of each and every realm (especially Prairie and Valley) and appreciate how hard the developers worked to make this world look the way it is. Sure, candle running will get boring, and graphics arent everything, but ever since I picked this game up after 2 whole years, (started again when TLP started) it was like a breath of fresh air. I missed out on so much and I deeply regret it. But. I've progressed WAY MORE than last time because I actually took time to learn how everything worked instead of just trying to figure everything out right away. TLDR: I try to enjoy every second playing Sky until I eventually quit again, knowing how good this game is at teaching you how to be patient lol ...
After about more than a year of playing, I uninstalled the game but got it back when I missed it and I was in denial about being in the death phase at first but over time, I just naturally accepted it and now it feels great! Candle running felt so much like a chore and it keeps weighing on my mind every time I can't complete it. Now I seldom open the game and when I do, I just do some hobbies or talk a bit with people but trust me, I'm enjoying the game so much now! And yes my constellation of friends are all dead now too but instead of missing them, you'll actually find yourself satisfied
I’m a gratitude moth. Actually started playing since day 1 of the release. I tried so hard to collect everything and I did for a long time, I had everything maxed out for 4 seasons. But at the same time I reached the death stage quickly too as I was so burnt out from candle running daily. I took around a whole year of hiatus from sky and just recently returned to play again. It’s sad that 80% of my constellation will never light up again but I’m still so happy when I see long lost friends ♥️♥️ I got the chance to catch up with them again. Personally, I think you don’t need to have everything, I really only use around 4 different outfits from all the cosmetics I’ve hoarded. It’s not worth it to grind and burn yourself out from a game that’s supposed to be fun and full of friendship. Just take your time, enjoy it at your own pace and have fun ♥️♥️
Ive played since the beginning of sky, and I have to say, I’ve loved every minute. I’ve made so many friends and I miss them so much. I stopped for a while, but I think I’m back to the grinding phase 😅 this is so relatable and I wish everyone a wonderful sky experience! ❤️ ❤️ ❤️
Been in sky for more than a year and currently in the chill phase, and pretty sure it will stay like that for quite a while. My constellation is complete and i pretty much already have every ts but i still play sky everyday. I just happen to love sky very much. Maybe ill stop playing when tgc shut down the game
thinking about the end of sky is sad. there will probably be new and maybe better games, but i’ll never forget sky. watching the graveyard krill, picking up crabs, riding mantas, even just the feeling of getting that one candle that you need is part of sky. when it does end, i hope that it won’t be soon.
Well, one can't stop the inevitable, so might as well enjoy the game while it's still there as nothing truly lasts forever, just like one's moth phase :)

im inbetween the grinding and chill phase, its hard to play sky some days because i have other things to do, but ive almost reached my 1 year anniversary playing sky so i dont plan to stop anytime soon, even if i do only play once or twice a week
i miss the time where i'd explore oobs and play instruments after cr with my friend. talk about random things, or met other people in oob and takes some pictures together until very midnight or just too tired to keep my eyes open
I literally came back after a year and some of the friends I made before are still playing the game and are happy to see me come back. This game is the definition of pure and wholesome.
I realised I wasn’t a moth anymore when the season of sanctuary jellyfish call and season of prophecy water cape came back as ts 😂 that’s when I realised what the season of sanctuary and prophecy are like to a lot of players are like how the season of belonging, gratitude, enchantment etc were to me (if you know what I mean)

The accuracy hurts, I've went through all phases exactly in that order, except the 5th death stage, as I am currently in between stages 3 and 4, grinds and chills. The one who invited me to play this game those 8 months ago is sadly in her death phase (or just between 3rd - 5th phase but heavily on the 5th) as she just enrolled for college. :,,,) Everyday (weekdays), she has classes and homework now, I get reminded of how I missed those old times whenever I come across my old recorded Sky videos of us or see photos. I see her everyday as she is my younger sibling, so it isn't t h a t bad. It's just that we haven't gotten the time to play games anymore, so I just feel a little saddened on that front.

I spedran the first two stages in under a week XD so here's my story I guess. A bunch of our friend group were starting or returning to Sky, and were planning to go to Eden at the start of the new week. I started on Thursday, sped ran all the first 6 realms by Friday, then got too curious and entered Eden alone that Saturday. Gave one of my friends a mini heart attack with that. Managed to get to the final stage without losing any wing light (I still have no idea how) and got about 6.75 Eden candles by the end (thanks to my friends giving me the heads up to save as many children as possible). After that I AFK grinded with my friends till the end of Sunday while I was doing maths work, learnt how to shortcut Eden by that Monday and carried one of my friends up to it when our group decided to go to Eden (trying to grab everyone's hands got too chaotic so we went in pairs/trios as there were 7 of us, 3 who knew how to shortcut including me at that point. We stayed on the same server though.). I dragged the same friend through the final part of Eden and got 10 candles that run. After that I went to Eden AGAIN to recollect the spirits in the corridor (as one of my friends asked me to take him there) and then again when my friend's friend wanted to go to Eden. It's Friday for me right now. I started playing last Thursday. Now I'm just happily grinding for Candles and Wing Light with an unusual attachment to Golden Wasteland and Eden. (I also managed to give another friend a mini heart attack when I dragged them through GW for candles earlier this week)
I’m in between stages 2 - 4, most of the time a combo of all 3 tbh ^^; The last one I count as when I’m busy doing other hobbies…like drawing my Sky Kid~
The fact you got all of them right. Right now I’m leaving the exploring phase behind but man. The amount of times I’ve fallen of plants and played twinkle twinkle little star. You got even the cape 😭. I’ll soon enough start fully grinding. I’ll miss my exploring days🥲.
I switch between grinding and chill, and I haven't reached stage five even if I've been playing since ios live release! Sky is my kind of game and I don't think I ever will. I also still fall off the plants, that's kinda a thing i'll never get rid of :']
I've completely skipped the "friending everyone in sight" part of phase one I have too much anxiety with talking to people I legit fly away when someone tries to friend me because I'm scared lol
i've been playing for over a year now and this was so accurate. i actually entered the death phase but while on what i wanted to be my last eden run ever, a certain close friend logged on for the first time in 8 months. i stopped feeling so lonely and burnt out. now im excited to go candle running again, although we getting distracted by creatures or afk players lol. i also love playing music for random people in the social spaces. love this community :)

I would keep trying praire or wasteland lobbies during your ‘day’ time. Sit down at benches or tables often. Even if someone starts in a different language, still say hello because there are bilingual people on there.
I was in the Exploration/Grinding phase when i first found this video. Now I'm between the Chill and Death phase. Every time i pass onto a new phase i think of this video and how accurate it is. I remember back in the first time seeing this i was still in the middle of the fiery passion for Sky and i thought "haha that death phase won't happen to me!", and boy how i realize i was wrong, now that the death phase is imminent. But oh well, like all things in life, things change. I've already reflected on this ending a lot and I've come to make peace with myself for dying soon as a skykid.
I'm starting to lose interest in sky, but still play it for some reason Idk why- it's just I can't quit it, there's always a thing keep me back I mostly uber gw before, now krill tricks are patched so I do eden instead
I'm at the chill phase! At first I was very determined to do full crs everyday but eventually that started to feel like a chore so now I usually log on to just relax, chat with friends, play music and help new players, and the game feels much more enjoyable to me now :^)

I've been playing for over a year now since enchantment and have only finished one constellation. If you want to slow your inevitable death stage, don't rush into getting everything. Though it's also inevitable to accumulate a lot of candles these days since candle running is easier, so do whatever with your spendings. If you don't spend too much time on finishing all the constellations, you can later spend your candles when you have the leisure to. (Except for wing buffs, get those nodes unlocked as soon as you can!)
Another tip I can give is have a budget for your candles. At minimum 130-200 candles for friend cost, Traveling Spirit cost, seasonal events, and such. This way you'll find yourself in the thrill and panic in candle running to always recollect your stuff, but also prepared for high spending.
If you can't candle run a lot and want to be comfortable, try 350-400 candles at max. This way it's easier to recover even from spending too much and also still keep you semi active with your candle runs.
Personally I just.... Don't see the thrill having so much candles where you can have everything and yet there's nothing left for you to use it.
since i’ll never go to eden, and started playing near the end of 2022 days of bloom, i have a certain goal: get every item that doesn’t require ascended candles. when i say every item, i don’t mean every item including seasonal ones. if you’re bored with what to do, and nearing the end of exploration phase, just know there’s plenty to do without going to eden.

I guess I'm in the chill phase. The only way I'll probably reach the death phase is if one day Sky shuts down, or the developers stop coming up with updates and events...

Sky is like temporary relief and escape to me so I'll play as much as I can whenever I have the time to.

When you start seeing old TS return and close friends leaving the game, it really hits hard. Soon you struggle to log in every day because you're just so busy with real life. Then you log in for the last time and you didn't even know.
Its been almost 6 months since I took a break from Sky to focus on my studies and I don't know if i'll ever return.(T^T)

I started playing sky a month after its offical release, and damn it's surprising how you got all the phases right. Right now I'm kind of at the death phase, but I still check on the game. Sometimes I see friends I haven't seen for a while and I truly enjoy the game at these moments. Sometimes I even do candle runs and seasonal quests. But sky holds a different place in my heart. When I first started playing I had like no friends at school and meeting so many nice people in sky really made my day back then. Seeing them still does to this day :)
In real life people can be such jerks like 90% of the time, I feel like for some reason everyone in sky is super nice. It's a nice breath of fresh air.

I joined the game around June 2020, and I had loads of fun for months ! Then I got bored, candle running every single day got tiring and I simply didn’t have time for the game, so I went inactive for about 5-6 months. Now, I’m back ! I forgot loads of songs that I’ve learnt before, I don’t quite remember my old candle run routes and my flying is absolutely atrocious, but I’m learning again, and I’m having fun. Remember that it’s okay to take breaks !! Don’t force yourself to do something you don’t like :)
I’m in denial about the fact that I’m in the death phase, I keep telling myself I’ll start playing again once the next season starts

When I first started, which was during around season of sanctuary, my goal was to be a veteran. A year has passed and I somehow miss my moff days, but I can still dress up as a moff though haha but I sometimes wish I could experience the "new player confusion" again xD

I watched this video 2 years ago when i was in a grinding-chill phase and made a comment lost to time, i went past death phase and... I thought i quit, my friends stars never lit up again, untill recently they did. And it felt so nostalgic, people say theres moths from oldest seasons... I was a performance moth and.... It feels so surreal to be in sky, its a part of me now, starting off being shy in real life, making friends in sky, close ones and becoming more social in real life. Sky became the thing that... Changed my life? So not all good things come back the way you want it to. But it comes the way... That you needed it to be.....
Currently in the grinding phase, I need like 110 hearts to finish valley constellation :’D it’s going to be a long phase
Same here, but with forest constellation. It's like +200 hearts even at 92% of the constellation completed. I started with the hardest one i think.

i played cotl all quarantine and postquarantine, it was a magic experience, and i made a lot of friends, today i decided to reinstall it, and when i opened it and saw all my cosmetics and all my friends constellations i couldnt contain my tears, i will always have a place for this game in my heart

As a dream moth, I can already feel the boredom creeping in. The feeling of doing the same thing again and again. But I still feel so calm and peaceful when playing sky. Heh, during my exploration phase I also tested stuff out, I brought dark crabs to dust free crabs and vice versa in sanctuary (they help each other up). I think I'm in my getting phase but I rarely do an entire candle run, I mostly try to get all three chevrons gone but I'm fine with only two being gone and I don't feel any pressure to get the gray/grey candle meter. It's a great game and good for me emotionally and mentally but I'm growing bored. I've barely started my journey and I've already grown weary of the trek.

I felt the same way after about a month and a half of daily grinding and exploration. I recommend taking a complete break and waiting for a new season to start so you can experience things with fresh eyes!
I'm also a dream moth. I'm still kind of in the grind phase... But I kind of also just feel so board when playing solo. If im with friends I love spending hours in sky! But if none are online... I just don't want to play. The game itself has lost its sparkle to me, not by fault of the developers, but daily repetition can damage any enjoyment and love for something. I feel genuinely sad about that, because the game itself helped me in so many ways when I started playing. I was in a bit of a dark Time then. But I just wish I could experience it through new eyes again...

Sky is all about friends, if you focus on grinding for cosmetics you'll get bored. I did that then I just started trying to be friends with as many people as possible, helping moffs and having veterans help me. Completely changed my boredom around.
First thing I look for in sky is to see who's online not where am I gonna CR and daily. Way more fun that way.

I also explored while in my pure moth phase, because I'm the type of player that tries to find all the little hidden things that people put in their games. Which led me to Sanctuary while only having 3 wedges, 4 by the time I got done with the quests on the island. Took the long way up to the sky waterfall and the exit about 3 times. XD
@@kannraorhara Ohhh lmaoo i rmr my moth times when i first enter sanctuary, i tried to land on one of the small islands to discover the nearest places before entering the main island. I had to swam(very boring) bcs i dont have any wing power left. I even swam around the island too, my phone became a hot toast afterwards -_-

Are super replayable in my opinion. Every time I candle run, I just take in all the visuals of each and every realm (especially Prairie and Valley) and appreciate how hard the developers worked to make this world look the way it is. Sure, candle running will get boring, and graphics arent everything, but ever since I picked this game up after 2 whole years, (started again when TLP started) it was like a breath of fresh air.
I missed out on so much and I deeply regret it. But. I've progressed WAY MORE than last time because I actually took time to learn how everything worked instead of just trying to figure everything out right away.
TLDR: I try to enjoy every second playing Sky until I eventually quit again, knowing how good this game is at teaching you how to be patient lol

After about more than a year of playing, I uninstalled the game but got it back when I missed it and I was in denial about being in the death phase at first but over time, I just naturally accepted it and now it feels great! Candle running felt so much like a chore and it keeps weighing on my mind every time I can't complete it. Now I seldom open the game and when I do, I just do some hobbies or talk a bit with people but trust me, I'm enjoying the game so much now! And yes my constellation of friends are all dead now too but instead of missing them, you'll actually find yourself satisfied

I’m a gratitude moth. Actually started playing since day 1 of the release. I tried so hard to collect everything and I did for a long time, I had everything maxed out for 4 seasons. But at the same time I reached the death stage quickly too as I was so burnt out from candle running daily. I took around a whole year of hiatus from sky and just recently returned to play again.
It’s sad that 80% of my constellation will never light up again but I’m still so happy when I see long lost friends ♥️♥️ I got the chance to catch up with them again.
Personally, I think you don’t need to have everything, I really only use around 4 different outfits from all the cosmetics I’ve hoarded. It’s not worth it to grind and burn yourself out from a game that’s supposed to be fun and full of friendship. Just take your time, enjoy it at your own pace and have fun ♥️♥️

Been in sky for more than a year and currently in the chill phase, and pretty sure it will stay like that for quite a while. My constellation is complete and i pretty much already have every ts but i still play sky everyday. I just happen to love sky very much. Maybe ill stop playing when tgc shut down the game
thinking about the end of sky is sad. there will probably be new and maybe better games, but i’ll never forget sky. watching the graveyard krill, picking up crabs, riding mantas, even just the feeling of getting that one candle that you need is part of sky. when it does end, i hope that it won’t be soon.
Well, one can't stop the inevitable, so might as well enjoy the game while it's still there as nothing truly lasts forever, just like one's moth phase :)

I literally came back after a year and some of the friends I made before are still playing the game and are happy to see me come back. This game is the definition of pure and wholesome.

I realised I wasn’t a moth anymore when the season of sanctuary jellyfish call and season of prophecy water cape came back as ts 😂 that’s when I realised what the season of sanctuary and prophecy are like to a lot of players are like how the season of belonging, gratitude, enchantment etc were to me (if you know what I mean)

The accuracy hurts, I've went through all phases exactly in that order, except the 5th death stage, as I am currently in between stages 3 and 4, grinds and chills.
The one who invited me to play this game those 8 months ago is sadly in her death phase (or just between 3rd - 5th phase but heavily on the 5th) as she just enrolled for college. :,,,)
Everyday (weekdays), she has classes and homework now, I get reminded of how I missed those old times whenever I come across my old recorded Sky videos of us or see photos.
I see her everyday as she is my younger sibling, so it isn't t h a t bad. It's just that we haven't gotten the time to play games anymore, so I just feel a little saddened on that front.

wow youve basically mapped my sky experience ive been going between 4 and 5 now and right now i am in 4, but like actually you even got the video time right. im impressed
I spedran the first two stages in under a week XD so here's my story I guess.
A bunch of our friend group were starting or returning to Sky, and were planning to go to Eden at the start of the new week. I started on Thursday, sped ran all the first 6 realms by Friday, then got too curious and entered Eden alone that Saturday. Gave one of my friends a mini heart attack with that. Managed to get to the final stage without losing any wing light (I still have no idea how) and got about 6.75 Eden candles by the end (thanks to my friends giving me the heads up to save as many children as possible). After that I AFK grinded with my friends till the end of Sunday while I was doing maths work, learnt how to shortcut Eden by that Monday and carried one of my friends up to it when our group decided to go to Eden (trying to grab everyone's hands got too chaotic so we went in pairs/trios as there were 7 of us, 3 who knew how to shortcut including me at that point. We stayed on the same server though.). I dragged the same friend through the final part of Eden and got 10 candles that run. After that I went to Eden AGAIN to recollect the spirits in the corridor (as one of my friends asked me to take him there) and then again when my friend's friend wanted to go to Eden. It's Friday for me right now. I started playing last Thursday. Now I'm just happily grinding for Candles and Wing Light with an unusual attachment to Golden Wasteland and Eden. (I also managed to give another friend a mini heart attack when I dragged them through GW for candles earlier this week)

I would keep trying praire or wasteland lobbies during your ‘day’ time. Sit down at benches or tables often. Even if someone starts in a different language, still say hello because there are bilingual people on there.

I was in the Exploration/Grinding phase when i first found this video. Now I'm between the Chill and Death phase.
Every time i pass onto a new phase i think of this video and how accurate it is. I remember back in the first time seeing this i was still in the middle of the fiery passion for Sky and i thought "haha that death phase won't happen to me!", and boy how i realize i was wrong, now that the death phase is imminent.
But oh well, like all things in life, things change. I've already reflected on this ending a lot and I've come to make peace with myself for dying soon as a skykid.
