I have blink and eufy 3cam both up and running side by side for comparison for over a week now. What I've noticed: 1. Blink has 5 second pre-recording event capture which I love! 2. Eufy does not have any event pre recording ability and it captures the tail end of the triggering event which i dislike so much. Meanwhile, Blink captures the entire triggering event! 3. I have Blink and Eufy on top of each other in my courtyard. For 7 days now, Blink has captured every triggering event i.e human walking into courtyard, package drop off etc meanwhile eufy 3cam didn't capture any of those events at all which I was really surprised and concerned about. So far my Blink is Caputing more triggering events and recording the entire event than my eufy which I'm really upset about after spending $700 on the eufy 3 kit.
Very good detailed comparison! I think with the Blink as well, you can set for prerecord and then a bit extra so that you don’t miss something happening in real time because I remember it would capture the first few seconds and then refresh with a new clip(which is great). With the EUFY units I have they’ve given me no pre-recording either. It captures events while they happen but for some reason my eufy doorbell is now not nearly as reliable as it used to be, especially when comparing it to when I owned the blink doorbell. 😖 Another thing I remember is that I could set the blink sensitivity to a pretty average motion sensitivity and it would capture pretty practically everything, meanwhile I’ve had to keep my Eufy units all on the highest sensitivity.
What about price a 4 camera eufy system costs 799.99 vs 4 blink camera system at 399.99 currently at 159.99 I have 10 older xt2 blink cameras and looking at potential upgrades. Either way a but price so I want the best bang for buck.
If you’re already in the Blink Ecosystem and don’t mind paying the subscription fee then I would recommend getting the outdoor does personally. But that’s just my opinion. Still one of my favorite security sets
