@Lambdarevolution86 your both right actually, fsi is the best of both worlds. better combustion and higher compression (the direct injection aspect) make for better power while when cruising the ecu controlled fuel pressure makes for better fuel economy. might have been around for awhile, but is far more advanced these days.
Dosent have with chassi to do att all, Read a book on fuel injection and you understand, the main issue is that injectors goes straight into cylinders, its expensive with fsi injectors so just seal the holes and go with injectors in manifold instead just like Mtech have done...
Forget the driveline swap. How did you manage the FSI system in that old golf chassis? You had to of swapped the dash for a newer one or at least retro fitted it. There is a guy around where I live that put a 2.0TFSI in Corrado and he told me the FSI system is a bitch to get right in a non-FSI car. Am I wrong here?

You need some stiffer shocks on the rear.. Look how close the sump is to the floor! You got a build log? How much did this cost you?
