There is another great video from a few monthes back of a drone dropping a frag grenade down a pipe used as a chimney in a russian trench. the drone was flying low enough for the grenade to be physically resting on the inside of the pipe before dropping it. These Ukrainian operators are amazing :) Slava Ukraini!

It is pretty common for Ukrainian soldiers to completely disable any armour they see. Maybe the tank had just run out of feul, or had a simple engine problem. Completely destroying it takes it out of the picture. But regardless, russia is still salvaging a lot of rubbish from the battlefields were they can. I have seen footage of trainloads of blown up, rusted wreck being sent back to russia for 'fixing'.
Bakhmut played its part to the full, with tens of thousands of Z-pigs paying the price. The AFU must withdraw to the next line of defence to continue to wear down the enemy's offensive potential, as we did in 1918 to absorb the great German offensives.

The first tank we saw was a T-80BVM which is probably Russia's most capable tank on the field. Losing those is a painful blow, they're far superior to T-72 models and Russia is running low on all versions of the T-80.

To everyone who is about to write "the tanks look abandoned", it is because, believe it or not, it is pretty standard military practice to destroy enemy equipment. By completely destroying these tanks, it denies the further use of them by orcs. I am sure that if there was a chance of capturing them, the Ukrainians would. If they are destroying them, it would only be to the detriment of the orcish hordes.

One tank appears to be running. If so, an automatic fire extinguisher system should deploy. But the rule is destroy it if you can't capture it. The bombs appear to be grenades or small bomblets. Most likely not HEAT types. So, an open hatch is the target. Turret hatches probably better than driver's hatch. The Russian ammunition design apparently does not use full cartridges using ;'brass', and I suspect the high explosive in the HE and HEAT projectiles is volatile (as it was in WWII), and that would complete the catastrophic event. A small white phosphorous bomb would flush out any crew, and no one would bother closing a hatch when bailing out.
iirc the grenades with fins they drop in the end are actually old but converted Soviet HEAT hand grenades. They normally come with ballute to stabilise it front first in flight, that is removed and replaced with 3d printed fins.
Most drone dropped munitions are anti-personnel. If one of those hits the interior of an armoured vehicle it will still cause damage and maybe even start a fire.
