OH my goodness! This came out so well. I loved being able to clearly hear everybody's parts and see us all playing. We nailed it. Excellent work to our percussion section especially!!
Absolutely Amazing! This is still one of my favorite pieces I performed back when I was in High School. I may have to dig out my clarinet and join in. Excellent work everyone!
If this is ZOOMing, then it's my 1st viewing of the result. The composition seems fully coherant despite 188 musicians, presumeably performing each remotely. So synchronization is in real time for the 7'07" - but editing for 188 channels couldn't be this good without some post-performance tweeking - how "instant" is the task of mixing is my question ?.... Laura Campbell will know the answer !
@@lauracampbell4528 - You're amazing ! Unbelievably skilled.... You are a top sound mixer ! Thanks for correcting my guesswork. I've looked up BRIAN BALMAGES (b.USA 1975- ) composer of "Arabian Dances" - a new name to me - a good choice of music. Thanks...
I love how happy the double bass player looks🥹
As a bassoonist and contrabassonist, those bassoons at the start of the song are powerful

Not instant at all, and not using zoom. Recorded separately, and multiple weeks of editing to put it together

@@lauracampbell4528 do you send some bit about the time to the musician rithm?
@@mendy123z yes, we play along to a "click track" or conducted video to keep in time with earbuds or headphones when recording.
Nice
