I would love it if sam, clover and alex all had boyfriends. In the next season. And make everyone hate Mandy the way they do amber heard and like Sam and clover, better especially clover if everyone liked her more Mandy would get so jealous. And have Mandy try and impress boys and make friends and people like her but nobody wants to hang with her etc just like amber heard lol that would be so awesome Mandy life would be over clover would be so popular Mandy would a loser lol.
This was like my first introduction to a "guilty pleasure" (not in a weird connotation) as a kid because it was such a fun show, but for a boy, it was definitely not the kinda stuff you wanted either your family or friends to find you watching it.
I made a really good friend in middle school by both of us slowly admitting we watched the show and loved it and we became great friends after that for a long time. Haven't talked to him much since we got out of highschool in 2014..
It’s funny because I remember the day one of our friends let it slip that he watched Totally Spies, and the sense of relief we all felt as we realised we weren’t the only one 🤣🤣🤣
i sooo remember watching it with my male cousin and it was a bit like that. we teach boys to hate femininity at such a young age since literally the worse thing a yung boy could be called is "a girl", and that is also done by "the baddest smartest spies in the planet who save the world for a living... do so with lipstick gadgets, so watching that makes you feminine = weak = embarrasing = inferior". and then we look at allarming sexual assault rates, feminicide and violence against women all around the fucking world and wonder why.
I loved this show as a kid, it was a huge comfort during my childhood and the way I discovered it was actually bitter sweet. When I was 7 years old my Father traumatized me by hitting me in the back with a shoe so hard that he came close to actually breaking something so I locked myself in my room and flipped through the TV until I found a brightly colored Cartoon. I would watch totally spies when no one was around since it would be embarrassing to admit I watched a show for girls in fact in the 3rd grade I told my classmates I liked Kim Possible and they called gross because girls have cooties but I told them to grow up. Ps: I didn't have a sexual awakening while watching this as a kid but I knew kids who did
dont want to be a downer, but fast fashion is a serious problem and i cant imagine the show did a good job portraying that, though it was an early 2000s show where noone had any worrys yet
I remember also the time where Jerry tried to write letters to the girls' parents when he thought that he had lost them. That was just heartwrenching and real
He’s also the same man who gave them the boot in the same scene, and had no problem giving them lobotomies when they were being framed without hearing them out💀so there’s that too
Animation style and the fact that random household objects turn into spy gear is what the show really had going for it. It was like batman or james bond in that right which was dope as hell
Honestly these shows that show women that their femininity isn’t a bad thing, that it comes in a lot of forms and that it doesn’t make them weak, that you can be feminine and strong and smart, are so important and I’m so glad I had shows like Totally Spies and Legally Blonde when I was growing up!
As a guy, i also loved Totally Spies and i still do, when i think about it. I loved seeing the gadgets, how they use them. Sam, i assume was the crush of many boys like me back then. Jerry's backstory and glimpses into his life were also always super entertaining, especially when we got to see that he's not just some old guy. With one of my best friends, we even made out things in the house to be gadgets just like theirs as we were "going" on missions with them.
I'm a male myself even though I liked taking karate lessons since 5th grade to 7th grade oh man i love watching totally spies for me clover was the crush of many of the boy's born in 1989 like me cause we were getting older oh man i loved watching it
Bro when I tell you I LOVED totally spies growing up. THAT SHOW WAS SO LEGENDARY DAWG 😭😭😭 I looked forward to an episode every day after school and it was worth it.
When I was a teen this show was a guilty pleasure for me. I thought it was weird I was watching and enjoying a show made for teen girls. As an adult I realize that there is nothing gulity about it. It's a good show, with well written characters, cool gadgets, and a lot of clever epsiodes. I think that's why it was so popular with boys and girls, it had something for everyone.
Rugrats and Kim Possible was decent as well. They had actual stories to them. Some animated stuff have the same plot every episode which bored me at all ages.
@@LegendarySpaceRipper i always really enjoyed kim possible especially as it had unlike many other cartoons of that time a great overarching story and character growth, it felt a bit as if the characters would grow *with* you and getting that right is imo a quality not many cartoon shows had
@@0NotreMan0 basically a teenage boy his step sister and a educated caveman travel the world solving paranormal mysteries like scooby doo but more modern audience part spy thriller and top it off with bacon bits of educational facts made by the same company that moade Totally Spies.
Totally spies, winx club, and w.i.t.c.h were iconic and still great. I've been waiting for a seventh for years because I watch totally spies so many times 😩👏
What I remember and liked the most is that even though they were capable in a fight, there were moments where they had to use their intelligence to solve certain situations or defeat certain enemies. Even though Sam was considered to be the smart one of the group, there were moments where Alex and Clover had their times to shine when it came to showing off their knowledge and expertise. The show was mostly marketed to girls but as a teen boy growing up, I really liked the show and plus I had a crush on Clover at the time lol
@@Raziel312 There dad's were there, but we never seen them except for 1 episode. In Alex Gets Schooled, you see her mother and father scolding her for getting all Fs (turns out that her report card was mixed up with Mandy's). Sam and Clover mentioned their fathers in some episode, like getting them something for father's day and things like that
I think Buffy the Vampire Slayer also had a big impact on Totally Spies existence. The whole “teenage valley girl who constantly saves the world while juggling life as a normal teenager” thing was practically invented by Buffy
I grew up going to the Beverly Hills schools, so it always excited me to think I’d be going to the same school as Sam, Clover, and Alex. The attention to detail of LA, Beverly Hills, and Malibu always stood out to me
Was thier your very own High School Mean Girl person exactly alike Mandy was like in the Totally Spies Series in your own experience from Beverly Hills High School in California!
The funny thing is I considered Totally Spies to be like the pseudo animated version of Charlie’s Angels if the angels knew each other in high school and I loved it ✨
I loved this show as a kid, it was a huge comfort during my childhood and the way I discovered it was actually bitter sweet. Ugh, loved Totally Spies growing up. This and Code Lyoko were my go to on Friday nights. Thanks for blessing us once again with a nostalgic filled video, and have a great weekend!
@@LuckyIStar Back in the day Cartoon Network had Maguzi (I think that’s the spelling) and the lineups were awesome. Totally Spies, Code Lyoko, TMNT 2003, Static Shock, and others. I don’t remember them all but it was awesome as a kid having this block.
This show was totally my jam back in the day! The theme song was a bop, and my friends and I would act out scenes, choosing whether we wanted to be Alex, Clover or Sam.
I remember being a kid thinking this show was wack because I thought it was for girls. Then I watched an episode when nothing else was on and I've been a fan since. I rewatched the movie so many times. Most of my guy friends love this show too. Yeah, we thought Sam, Alex and Clover were attractive but we love the show because of the characters, the inventive gadgets, the plot and the world building. Totally Spies is a fantastic show for being able to balance audience appeal and for being a great show overall
@@jabumlotshwa6745 that was my partial bias but it was quite entertaining love the gadgets even though as a guy I can never use them, there are guy spies in the show a couple of times one who fails spectacularly who kind of looks like James Bond and one who was a hot guy who turned out to be a villain I don't remember the other ones it's been a while
It’s the sexist bias though in our society, for men to assume shows aimed towards women or girls would suck. Luckily people who actually watch them would find they were really great
I remember enjoying this show a lot when I was little. I never caught any “arousing” aspects from the show (then again, I never gotten any feelings like that until I became an adult). I feel that the reason I enjoyed it is the same reason I enjoyed The Powerpuff Girls, in that even though it was marketed toward girls it still had an action focus. I also remember thinking that the fact their gadgets were made to look like normal items really cool.
@@Mondscheinelfe seriously? You didn't notice any of the inflation, mind control, animal transformation, weight play and dozens of other things going on?
@@ileutur6863 nah lmao i think i noticed all of it but i dont see it as fetishy. even now when i look back i dont remember anything cringe. maybe if i rewatch it now through this specific lense i will be able to notice the fetishy aspect
Ya know, I think the outfit changes was why I liked the show so much. I got so bored watching shows where the outfits were the same, this show definitely embraced my passion for fashion
As a young girl, I did absolutrly love Totally Spies. It was different and refreshing. However, I'm not sure how I feel about all these shows from the 90's and 00's getting reboots. Like, I'm happy that kids these days might get to see a bit of what we grew up with, but they should also be allowed their own shows that breed nostalgia in them like these shows do for us. Is it just 'cause our generation has such a loud voice that these reboots keep happening or is it because shows just don't do as well thesedays as they did back then? Are they running out of ideas? I'm just so intrigued by why this is happening.
It’s a bit of a mixture. 1: We are/were the first Generation to grow up with Social media so we have a loud voice. 2: we had a LOT of experimentation within the medium at the time, I have often claimed it was because of the general escapism people wanted/needed post 9/11. 3: todays media doesn’t last as long in the limelight, but also Companies are trying to put less and less money into “traditional tv” in an attempt to keep up their profits as the medium is dying because of other mediums growing in popularity. Hope that all made sense.
“It did play an incredibly important role in the portrayal of femininity in mainstream media”!!!! YES! So true. Sometime back I realized that this being my fave cartoon and other shows sculpted my outlook on femininity and my personality to some extent. And I love that!
I love this show it's my comfort show. Alex is my personal favorite character it was nice seeing a girl with my complexion being into both nerdy stuff and still being girly while also being badass. Despite some of the weird stuff and being outdated in some places it's still a very fun and positive show for everyone especially for girls.
This show was pretty good. I'm not really into this. But I thought the show's forumlaic "monster of the day" adventures were pretty cool and the characters were cute. Also, the anime-esque style was my favorite. I put this next with Winx Club and Jackie Chan Adventures.
I only watched a couple episodes of the show many years ago, and then completely forgot about it. Basically, I knew it existed, but had NO IDEA it ran for that long, and was that popular.
I'd argue that, even without the weird, fetishy aspects of the show, you've got cute girls doing badass things, often in tight body suits. How would it EVER be a surprise boys would like the show, and discover something about themselves?
you know now that I think about it it would explain a few things but for me the woman who can pull off a bodysuit the best would be the baroness from OG GI Joe cartoon.
I remember this show as that one "girl's show" I thought was cool. Granted, it ran during a time I had saturday classes on saturday mornings, so the only reason I caught it was because my brother and sister recorded the entire Jetix block every week and this just ran right before Sonic X and Shaman King. I always ended up watching at least a little bit of Totally Spies and it was usually a blast.
We should all bow down to the designers of the girls' outfits, that's what I call style and consistency. I'm a boy and I loved this show when it was on Fox Kids back at the time. Your review was accurate and awesome BTW. Great video!
I never considered how much effort would have been needed to have different outfits for each girl each time. Most animated shows have their main characters in one outfit the whole series but as a kid I never appreciated that the girls actually had different clothes
This was my guilty pleasure growing up. I used to race my cousins for the remote after coming to grandma's from school. They always gave me weird looks for putting Totally Spies on. Idk why, it was just a fun show for a guy like me growing up
Even with the Fan-Service and especially the strange stuff that happened during the show's run, I enjoy watching _Totally Spies_ when it aired on Cartoon Network and I got to say that I had a major cartoon crush on Sam as she is my favorite Totally Spies member, because not only she is the leader of the trio and is Red/orange Haired, but she is voiced by Jennifer Hale one of my favorite voice actresses. And to this day, Sam is still my cartoon crush. I'm so excited for the next season/soft reboot of Totally Spies and can't wait to see more Adventures of Sam, Clover, and Alex.
I really liked this show when I was a kid. People at my school found out I liked the show and it led to me getting made fun of a lot. Hilariously enough it opened a lot of doors with girls in my classes so while a lot the other guys in my class were struggling to even talk to a girl I was having a ball talking about Totally Spies, Sailor Moon and Inuyasha with them. It also made me realize that as a boy its completely ok to like Megas XLR and Dragonball Z and Totally Spies and Sailor Moon.
8:50 thats so true because it was their hair that did it for me, a redhead leader, a softie blondie and a tomboy-ish brunette and my 4 year old brain at the time at one point thought that totally spies were just grown-up Powerpuff girls......
Even as a kid that was likely expected to write Totally Spies! off as a "Girly show for girls", I watched and re-watched the show as many times as they aired it and loved it. A genuine classic from relatively simpler times. As for the suggestive themes it's been noticed for, I feel like I was young enough that it mostly went right over my head. Either that, or some subliminal programming was being done in the background. One thing I can credit it for would be strengthening my affinity for the Tomboy archetype.
This show shaped how I viewed fashion even though I was very young at the time, honestly now that Y2K is making its come back this show will be my inspo.
Man, both Totally Spies and classic PPG were the two cartoons starring girls that I had zero qualms in watching whenever they were airing back in the day. I simply had a great time with them and despite not seeing either (outside of various episode clips here and there) for years, they kinda live rent-free in my childhood memories. Though because of my on and off status with cable TV, I had no idea that TS managed to last for so long until the mid 2010s when I realized that newer episodes were still airing up to that point, as well as its movie. And fun fact, since I don't live in the US, I initially believed that Beverly Hills was a made-up place specifically for the show. And then I immediately though of it once I found out that it was an actual place.
The funniest joke for me in the show was when an evil washed-up boy band swaps faces with a popular boy band. An old woman with the bad guys switched faces with Alex, and Alex says how she looks like beef jerky.
I feel so robbed of all of the comics, toys, and games that I, a huge Totally Spies fan, apparently could have been experiencing as a child, but did not know about at the time. I just watched the show.
Totally Spies was such a badass cartoon, i can still remember i used to watch it every time i came home from school. however one of the only things i remember about it is the fact that it has some major fetish fuel moments, including occasional bondage and furry transformations not that i'm complaining.XD
This show was the shit when I was a kid, loved it to bits. One of the few shows I got to watch with my sister and bond over with. Sure I had a crush on Sam as a kid because she was pretty and smart (in a more typical kid fashion of just having a crush rather than the "awakened" teenager trope of discovering sexuality), but it was the overall package (great animation, fun characters, simple yet interesting enough plots and format so you could pick up the show any time) that really made it so enjoyable. I never cared for the girly bits, but they made sense and were never distracting enough from the stuff I found interesting which was the whole spy part. Plus the main characters were just really enjoyable to watch and how they interacted with each other. It's no surprise it became so popular, it's one of those shows that had a cool idea that was relatively unique at the time and executed it really well.
This cartoon has helped me cope with my childhood trauma and teenage insecurities and today helps me cope with adulthood problems. I love it and will always love it on repeat for life. BEST CARTOON EVER!!!❤💚💛
One small thing I kinda liked about this show was how the 3 girls always had a different outfit each episode Doesn't seem like much but it's not often you see that happen in cartoons. It makes sense why but that just was a neat touch to add
I LOVED the show and rewatched ALL 6 seasons in 2021. I really appreciate how Totally Spies uploaded all their episodes and seasons for free on RUclips, they're so generous
Honestly, the wildest thing about the show wasn't the, (ahem) "stuff" in the episodes, but rather the theme song 'Here We Go'. It came out in 2000 and was sung by Miranda Cooper under the stage name Moonbaby. The song was later altered and recorded for the Totally Spies theme song. It's also definitely not a kids song.
I won't lie, I kinda had a crush on all 3 girls as I really liked each of their personalities and how, despite all the high jinx and shenanigans that Alex gets mostly, they trio still remains friends throughout the series and I just love how each plays off each other. Especially when a fourth spy girl was introduced about halfway through the first or second season, she just made me like the show even more and all 4 girls were my crushes. Amazing video and keep up the good work.
Ahh the memories. Another summer day, me (male) and my sister with our 2 cousins (both females), we were all close in age. We'd all sit down watch the Totally Spies episode of the day. But the best part was after that we'd play Totally Spies, with me as Jerry, and the girls as the girls! We'd do it every summer day, I miss those days!
Words can't express how much I appreciate totally spies although it's sort of a girl show I love how it's action packed but still giving the main characters the freedom to express themselves with whatever outfits they wear on each episode
I think what else made this show so good growing up is that this show, plus several others, showcased a variety of different personalities of what a girl could be- because in most shows back then and today, it'll be a group of maybe four to five guys and a token girl character who's role is to support the guys It was just refreshing and this era of animation was so good in representation for how kids could grow up to be like
I was happy to hear Jordan also compared the girls to the power puff girls cause I legit thought as a kid that was them grown up because they had the same hair colors and matching personalities not even caring that buttercup somehow changed skin color😂.
The one thing I remember is the absurd ways the girls would be summoned to the "office" or whatever you call it. And I only remember the plot of one episode. Someone created a chemical that is super addictive and puts it in cookies to make mad ammounts of profit. And one of the girls become super fat because she gets addicted to the cookies and devours lots of them.
Honestly I'd love to see the revival cater to fans who grew up with this show, but St the same time I'd like them to continue with the girls aged up as adults and potentially having retired from their life of spying to move forward with their lives. I'd love to see qt least one of them as a mother with a small family. Something happens one day and they end up being drawn back into the spy world but now they have to juggle careers, managing households, raising children, moving in with a new partner, stuff young women might have to deal with.
I absolutely do! I remember the bus dropping me off at my baby-sitter's house, and I'd sit on her living room floor with a fudge round snack cake and watch the episodes that came on at 4pm.
I remember my bus dropping me off the house I'd go in my room and watch the show I'm guessing you were in elementary school and i was in my 1st year in middle school in 7th grade
I haven't thought about this show in a while. But it was nice when I remember watching it. They did a really good job making some cool spy girls that cleared their missions and enjoyed their lives on top of it.
I always associated this show with Powerpuff Girls and assumed, as a kid, that it must’ve been created by the same people because the styling even matched the personalities, like Alex was “more masculine” just like Buttercup, who also had short black hair.
I'm the oldest in my family of all girls, and because of this video my youngest sister now wants to watch Totally Spies for the first time with me. I'm so hyped for season seven!!
Somehow I never got around to watching Totally Spies! as a kid. I loved The Powerpuff Girls and Kim Possible, so not sure why I missed out on this, but that's supremely impressive that these girls had A THOUSAND different outfits designed for them and were constantly changing clothes in each episode. That is dedication and should absolutely be commended! Kinda want to watch a few episodes here on RUclips since apparently the series is free on here 🤷♂️
It was a great show, with charming protagonists, a lovely artstyle and most of all, great villains. Sebastian (the DJ with the iron claw) was one my favorites. And I think the reason why a lot of boys liked the series, was because it was pretty great on the action front. Yes, it didn't shy away from more traditionally feminine tropes but it was still very action packed with a lot of good episodes. Though, if I'm really honest, I still prefer Martin Mystery. Not necessarily because of the trio, Alex, Clover and Sam were just as good protagonist as Diana, Java and Martin but with Martin Mystery it was the focus on more purely mythological and paranormal monster of the week villains was even more my thing. I love mythology and monsters with backgrounds and monsters like the Boogeyman, the Sandman, the Siren, Icetopis were all great creatures. So, a video on Martin Mystery would be greatly appreciated!
my parents always got annoyed with me and my sister whenever we would watch this cause they would go like "oh no not the cartoon again with the yelling women" (cause they would always go like "aaaaaaaaaah" whenever jerry would kidnap them)
Always loved this show as a kid, the animation and colouring and style of the show made it really fun and vibrant to watch. The animation team did a phenominal job.
In high school, we went to the theatre with my class to see I don't even remember what. But I do remember people around me whisper-screaming "Clover!" when it turned out that one of the actresses on the stage was the actress that dubbed Clover in the Polish version of the show. 16-year-old boys and girls got excited cause we heard "Clover" live.
I lowkey decided to take time out of my day to rewatch my childhood, (Totally spies which ive been obsessed with, winx, bratz, monster high, kim possible and other shows) and i am so glad they are making a 7th season, i'm so mad about what they did to Clover tho like they did her DIRTY, besides that lets hope they keep the same style (with better graphics though, not that thare is anything wrong with old ones, thats just a touch they can and probably will add) and same personalitys and keep the interesting theme of the show the same, because reboots (Like the Monster High TERRFEFYINGLY BAD rebot) tend to be quite...not so interesting because they remove/change the iconic parts of the characters/theme. I am still very excited and cannot wait!
I loved this show to death. The girls were funny & cool with amazing gadgets and action scenes. it really did remind me of Kim Possible and I loved the crossover with Martin Mystery
Totally Spies where my childhood and teenager life watching it when I was growing up before as a child! Hopefully whoever's making the 7th Season of Totally Spies does it Justice and right like before all over again with it's same exact storylines character's Sam, Clover, and also Alex voice actors and also no politics or woke political correctness whatsoever in it at all for Totally Spies Season 7!
I still love this show! My favorite character is Alex but I love them all! Some episodes are very cool and I just love the vibe of the show, the soundtracks and everything! I really enjoy it 😊
I was one of the few people who only watched The Amazing Spiez back in the day. I would love to see a definitive conclusion/cameo appearance from The Amazing Spiez quadro (Mark, Lee, Tony, Megan) as the final episode of Amazing Spiez was just a regular one which made it feel like there should be more episodes, but there weren't.
i remember being really into totally spies as a kid, i was decently young but it was a show i looked forward to the airings and one thing that took me by surprise was the outfits and variety of them
I watched it a lot as a kid, and as a boy, it was just fun. Nowadays I like to imagine a version of Totally Spies as an anime or OVA from the early 1990s, it'd be so cute.
Yea i thought they looked good but i think the ones that really hit my hard in the hormones where winx club and Animaniacs but i really got my fetish from james bond movies and some tv series like xenia warrior princess those where aimed more at adults anyway.
One of the few cartoons that have characters wearing different clothes everyday . It really put a lot of emphasis on the aesthetic from clothes to interior decoration to environment especially the first two seasons.
As a male American in his teens during this shows run, I highly enjoyed it. It was a well done show and it being female-centric never turned me off of it and not because hormones.
I LOVED this show SO MUCH! I can't exactly remember when and how I watched it, but it was for a long time and religiously. Also part of what cracked my egg back then - and here I am, proudly being a hella nerdy girl
I am so excited for the reboot! I was such a huge fan growing up and I feel like this show was so global that I was still able to watch it even when I visited my grandparents in another country. The one thing I hope to see is sticking to 2-D animation and sticking to their commitment to changing outfits every episode.
I am super excited for this reboot too! Thats awesome you were able to watch it in another country when you visited your Grandparents. And ya I hope they stick to 2D animation I doubt they would change to 3D. And I loved that changed outfits in every episode, so hopefully they will keep that. 100%. And to show characters who go through struggles, make mistakes, and are smart but don't always have all the answers, and that's totally okay.

It's one of those things that everyone liked but no1 would ever admit it.
Rugrats and Kim Possible was decent as well. They had actual stories to them. Some animated stuff have the same plot every episode which bored me at all ages.
I say we need to bring back the "guilty pleasure."
@@LegendarySpaceRipper i always really enjoyed kim possible especially as it had unlike many other cartoons of that time a great overarching story and character growth, it felt a bit as if the characters would grow *with* you and getting that right is imo a quality not many cartoon shows had

I remember loving this show, and honestly... JERRY WAS THE BEST THING ABOUT IT, IF HE IS NOT IN THE NEXT SEASON.... I will cry myself to sleep
Jerry was kind of the girls' father figure. Especially since the girls had mothers, yet none of them had a dad in the picture.

When I was 7 years old my Father traumatized me by hitting me in the back with a shoe so hard that he came close to actually breaking something so I locked myself in my room and flipped through the TV until I found a brightly colored Cartoon.
I would watch totally spies when no one was around since it would be embarrassing to admit I watched a show for girls in fact in the 3rd grade I told my classmates I liked Kim Possible and they called me gross because girls have cooties but I told them to grow up.

They need to bring back Code Lyoko but not the live action one😶
This show was totally my jam back in the day! The theme song was a bop, and my friends and I would act out scenes, choosing whether we wanted to be Alex, Clover or Sam.
Omg this, Trollz and Bratz were my favv
I remember being a kid thinking this show was wack because I thought it was for girls. Then I watched an episode when nothing else was on and I've been a fan since. I rewatched the movie so many times. Most of my guy friends love this show too. Yeah, we thought Sam, Alex and Clover were attractive but we love the show because of the characters, the inventive gadgets, the plot and the world building. Totally Spies is a fantastic show for being able to balance audience appeal and for being a great show overall
Yup I loved the feminity of the spies along with just a quality show
Agreed, I watched sailor Moon before so I wasn't as biased as most guys the show is actually entertaining Clover's best girl

These reboots have been yuck so far. Ben 10, Bakugan idek 😭🤣

As a guy I actually watched Totally Spies proudly. It was a solid show and I don't even know why.

I enjoyed it and MOST 'those' things do not seem to influence me.
The things that did I already had been influenced into before.
trust me bro, it wasn't just boys 😂
I just looked into this fetish thing and man people need to calm down.
Idk why, it was just a fun show for a guy like me growing up
Ohoho! Same...
Totally agree about Sam.
I myself loved watching them all the time i even would watched totally spies before my karate lessons
As a young boy I still loved this show, it had me cracking up constantly even if it wasn't the most relatable show for me as a male at certain times
I totally remember Totally Spies. When I was older, I started noticing the … weirder aspects.
Jerry is an absolute legend
One small thing I kinda liked about this show was how the 3 girls always had a different outfit each episode
Doesn't seem like much but it's not often you see that happen in cartoons. It makes sense why but that just was a neat touch to add
Clover always got kidnapped
Alex got kidnapped a couple times too, namely by that insane movie director guy and by some guy that literally had two left feet.
I LOVED the show and rewatched ALL 6 seasons in 2021. I really appreciate how Totally Spies uploaded all their episodes and seasons for free on RUclips, they're so generous
Where can I find this ? Can you paste the link?
Honestly, the wildest thing about the show wasn't the, (ahem) "stuff" in the episodes, but rather the theme song 'Here We Go'. It came out in 2000 and was sung by Miranda Cooper under the stage name Moonbaby. The song was later altered and recorded for the Totally Spies theme song. It's also definitely not a kids song.
This show definitely awakened something in young me, but also the writing was fantastic
Having been a young girl when this show was on I feel severely cheated with merch. I never knew they had any of that!

I’ve been immersing myself with French content-rewatching Totally Spies in another language has been my go-to for the past few weeks
Words can't express how much I appreciate totally spies although it's sort of a girl show I love how it's action packed but still giving the main characters the freedom to express themselves with whatever outfits they wear on each episode
I think what else made this show so good growing up is that this show, plus several others, showcased a variety of different personalities of what a girl could be- because in most shows back then and today, it'll be a group of maybe four to five guys and a token girl character who's role is to support the guys
It was just refreshing and this era of animation was so good in representation for how kids could grow up to be like
I was happy to hear Jordan also compared the girls to the power puff girls cause I legit thought as a kid that was them grown up because they had the same hair colors and matching personalities not even caring that buttercup somehow changed skin color😂.
As someone who grew up watching the show, i HAD to be Clover. She was the one character I really wanted to be. I'm so excited for the revival
And I just got to the part where he mentioned Powerpuff Girls
So, a video on Martin Mystery would be greatly appreciated!
my parents always got annoyed with me and my sister whenever we would watch this cause they would go like "oh no not the cartoon again with the yelling women" (cause they would always go like "aaaaaaaaaah" whenever jerry would kidnap them)
Some of the totally spies villain look like they could be a batman villain by some of their goofy elements.
Wow my guess is I'm everyone favorite clover as there character cause she was my favorite to
How could I ever forget? I rewatch it at least once every two years because this show will never get old.
Who could forget this series and it's many... "unique" episodes.

Hoping that all the VO's will be coming back to portray Sam, Alex, and Clover as well.
