Will Shadow's Character be redeemed?
I say it will revive his character, considering how messy it has been for a long time. Since they did fix Knuckles, I think Shadow will be fixed for sure
I am just surprised they are not using the Prime version. That one was good! A bit rough, a bit edgy, but he cares. I'd be happy with that one!
So yeah he can! Just depend if SEGA want to keep him edgy asf, which is the main problem. Flynn handled Shadow well in Archie, so there is only one good reason why.
I think it depends on how much freedom Sega gives Ian Flynn, and Kirk's performance in both the prologue, and the game. Personally, I'm optimistic, as Frontiers singlehandedly revived Sonic, Tails, Knuckles, Amy, and even added some new layers to Eggman. Ian understands the character, and I do believe that Kirk can be given the right direction. Time will tell.

I believe it. They redeemed Sonic and Knuckles, so I don’t see them messing up Shadow, especially since he’s a fan-favorite.
Honestly I think the Knuckles animation and the pic of the Shadow one just proves we are long over due for a raw Sonic anime whether it be a movie, series (seasonal or limited), or OVA
Sonic Generations: Dark Beginning sounds way better than Sonic X Shadow Generations.
Just calling it Shadow Generations would be way better.

I’m a bit disappointed they better put this as the intro to the game or something because I hate when games put story bits in outside media like the knuckles animation was beautiful but it was nowhere in frontiers and left the story feeling off

If They make Shadow Character Arc where it explains why since for a long time he was acting all edgy and a loner like in Shadow 05, Generations and Team Sonic Racing is because he is afraid to make real friends again is because of what happened to Maria and then go on to make shadow respect sonic again and knows that he can rely on people he can trust like his team with rouge and omega and give him a redemption arc then i'm all in for it!

I know Ian Flynn LOVES Dragonball Abridged but man, if he keeps copying DBZA Vegeta for Generations I might stop putting the blame on Sega.
Ian Flynn actually wrote Shadow really well back in the Archie Sonic comics before they got cancelled and replaced with the IDW comics.
I've read em back when he became the writer for them back in 2007 to 2017 and he wrote Shadow so good.
If anything, it's likely mostly Sega's fault because even when Shadow was butchered in the games by the early 2010's, his character was still consistent in the Archie books until they got cancelled in 2017 and then they basically in forced the mandates on the IDW books.
Im excited for this man all i want is for them to remove the X cause of obvious reasons..
