lol I think you two are the first ones that didn't totally freak out about Felix's voice. (He's like 20. As KARD's BM said - "boy had a different type of puberty") Both Felix and Bang Chan (the leader, he's the one that did the first pre-chorus) are both Aussies! (The rest of the members are becoming Aussies by default lol)
Rec for a different group: Dreamcatcher. If you both are loving the intensity of Stray Kids and Ateez, you're going to fall for Dreamcatcher. Start off with Scream and Boca (though keep in mind they were down one member for both comebacks as she was stuck in China bc covid) - both of which have a pretty deep meaning to them; it's all about hateful comments and cyberbullying. Which for a K-pop girl group to take that on??? Intestinal fortitude required. Scream is EDM fused with rock, Boca is using Moombahton fused with rock. (Their previous MV story arc is the Nightmare series which starts off with their debut of Chase Me and is more straight rock. It's not required that you watch it in order to get the storyline as it's pretty open to interpretation, but it might help to figure out what's going on. They have two 'stand-alone' MVs, Deja Vu and R.o.S.E Blue, both of which are for mobile game OSTs.)
But Dreamcatcher doesn't do just rock! Their B-sides are absolutely wildly diverse where it's more in the area of 'you get a genre and you get a genre and YOU GET A GENRE EVERYONE GETS A GENRE!' They've done *ahem*: Jazz (Jazz Bar), EDM (Silent Night, Can't get you out of my mind), Reggae (July 7th), R&B (Wonderland, And there was no one left), Ballads (It's Okay, Polaris, Dear), House Trap (Red Sun - watch for the seriously gothic witch vibes), more rock (Mayday, which their special clip was filmed with fans!), Latin Dance mixed with rock (Diamond), punk rock (Wake Up), classic pop (Black or White, Sleep-walking)... and those are the ones I can remember off the top of my head.
Stray Kids are so good I would recommend Easy, Back Door, My Pace. Maybe an Intro to Stray Kids guide. (this is all up to you whenever you have time). I really enjoy watching your reactions, I love your energy

I was always a bit hesitant to check out 4th gen groups before (as a 2nd gen stan) but when i watched god's menu for the first time, i did not hesitate one bit to look into stray kids and know more about them. That's how hard this song hit. Now they are my ult!!!

I’ll leave all the SKZ recs to everyone else below, but I’d like to start by recommending one of my absolute favorite groups. They’re EXTREMELY underrated but I have a feeling that you guys would LOVE them and their music. They’re called KARD and honestly their whole discography is fire but I’d like to specifically recommend Bomb Bomb, Dumb Litty and Gunshot because the songs and MVs for those are incredible.
As for this video, thanks so much for reacting to God’s Menu!!! It’s such an unbelievable song and honestly between that one and Back Door I’m not sure which is my favorite SKZ song of the year lol (not to mention all of the bsides on the albums that are absolutely unbelievable as well).
