Can I please kindly request all brothers and sisters to maintain respect when commenting here. At one time or another, all of us were jahil (ignorant) and arrogant in our ignorance. It was only due to the blessing of Allah blessing us with patient knowledgeable brothers/sisters who took the time and energy to break through our ignorance.
I know that I personally am embarrassed about the views that I held in my days of jahilliya and am thankful that there were no cameras to record them. Maybe this brother will be guided by Allah inshallah and will be giving dahwah at SC refuting false beliefs about Allah and Islam.

Put your trust in man that cannot prove and comfirm it is the words off Muahmmad as you got no Quran to confirm it!. Muhammad had many enemies all around him soon as Muhammad died 1st civil war kicked off and many more followed!. Would you think those enemies could off changed the Quran mess arond with it. Talk about inorance lol. You need to really look to history not the fake Quran! which there many off them had to make one Quran in the 1960s in Eygpt! becuase if confused the Muslims lol. Eygpt off all places lol all follow the eygpt gods!!!. Jews , Christians and Islamic. Go do some study have a good long look at it!!. Kaaba is in Petra not in Mecca! got moved there after the second civil war after Petra city got destroyed and finish off by an earthquake so the people left the city off Petra. Kaaba ended up in Mecca. Fools will be fooled.

    Salamun Alaykum.
The main difference between the Sunnis and the Shi'as is the issues of the caliphate and the leadership after the holy Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him and his family).
The Shi'as believe that the holy Prophet appointed his cousin and the son-in-law, Ali as his successor during his lifetime.
Our Sunni brothers do not agree with this. They say that the holy Prophet (pbuh&hf) did not appoint anyone as his successor and left this issue in the hands of his ummah.
This issue of caliphate/Leadership/Imamat is such which has divided the Muslim ummah into countless fragments.
CAN THE MUSLIM UMMAH SEROUSLY STUDY THIS ISSUE INDEPENDENTLY, ACADEMICALLY, UNBIASED AND WITH AN OPEN MIND AND DRAW THEIR OWN CONCLUSION?
Do I need to be a religious scholar or an expert to study this matter myself and draw my own conclusion?
Please read the following very carefully and ponder over the points discussed.
    1. Let us assume that the holy Prophet (pbuh&hf) did not appoint anyone as his successor and just passed away like that. If this is true, it means that there was no need for the holy Prophet (pbuh&hf) to appoint anyone as his successor and he did not appoint anyone as his successor. As soon as the holy Prophet (pbuh&hf) breathe his last, Abu Bakr, Umar and some others rather than participating in the janaza of the best of Allah's creations, the holy Prophet Muhammad (pbuh&hf), they abandoned his blessed body and got together in Saqifa to elect the holy Prophet's successor.
This matter raises a lot of questions, such as:
    a) If you are holding an election to elect the successor of the holy Prophet, why in Saqifa which was a private place and not in for example the Prophet's masjid?
b). Why were there only a handful of sahabas and not the entire Muslim community or at least the people of Madina?
    c) Was there any representation from people outside Madina? If not, why?
    d) When you have an election, you also have to have candidates. How many candidates were there in Saqifa and who were they?
    e) If the holy Prophet (pbuh&hf) had really and truly left the issue of his successorship in the hands of his ummah, why couldn't people like Abu Bakr and Umar who also happened to be the fathers-in-law of the holy Prophet (P) wait until after his burial?
    f) If the issue of caliphate/leadership/Imamat was that very important, why didn't the holy Prophet (pbuh&hf) sort it out himself during his own life?
    g) Where were the people like hazrat Ali (a.s.), Salman Farsi, Abuzar Ghaffari, Bilal, Ammar Yasir, Huzaifa to name a few?
    h) There is a very famous hadith of the holy Prophet (pbuh&hf) in which he says, "anyone who dies without knowing the Imam of his time, dies the death of a kafir" At whose mercy was the Muslim ummah from the time the holy Prophet died to the time Abu Bakr became the caliph?
    i) If the holy Prophet (pbuh&hf) did not appoint any one as his successor/caliph, it means:
    i. there was no need for him to appoint anyone and he did not. If such was the case, why did the so called grand sahabas discarded the janaza of the holy Prophet (P) and rushed to Saqifa? Were they trying to be better, cleverer and smarter than the Prophet of Allah?
ii. There was a need for the holy Prophet (P) to appoint his successor but he either forgot all about it or neglected it or did not care about it. Bearing Allah as your witness, do you seriously believe that the Prophet of Allah would be so much negligent in matter such as this, let alone anything else?
iii. If the holy Prophet (P) did not appoint anyone as his successor but left it in. the hands of his Ummah, wouldn't he give some kind of solid guidelines describing the qualifications for his would be caliph?
iv. if we presume that the holy Prophet (pbuh&hf) did not appoint anyone as his successor but left this matter in the hands of the Muslims, its example will be like this:
There is a highly qualified doctor with many years experience working in a big hospital. The time has come for him to retire. He has two options; to appoint someone to take over from him OR gather together all his patients in his hospital and ask them to elect anyone they like to take his place. What does your commonsense tell you? The doctor himself is the best person to appoint someone deserving.
The example of the holy Prophet (pbuh&hf) leaving the issue of caliphate/Leadership/Imamat in the hands of the Muslims is just like hearing an announcement in the midair "a hairdresser is in control of the aircraft."
    v. Rightly or wrongly, Abu Bakr became a Muslim caliph through the "election". When Abu Bakr was on his deathbed, he nominated Umar as his successor. When Umar was on his deathbed, he appointed a committee of six people amongst who Uthman was selected as the third caliph. After the murder of Uthman, hazrat Ali (a.s.) became the fourth caliph as a result of general consensus.
The question arises that were the so called grand sahabas of the holy Prophet smarter, cleverer and more sensible than their Prophet? The holy Prophet could not think of appointing his successors but his so called successors did what the holy could not even think of??
One wonders what is the rule of the game. Abu Bakr became a caliph as a result of so called election. Umar became a caliph as a result of nomination and Uthman became the third caliph as a result of selection. Hazrat Ali (a.s.) became the fourth caliph as a result of the general consensus. If we were to have a Muslim state, which of these four systems would we apply for rulership and on what grounds?
    h) Yes, there was a need for the holy Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him and his immaculate progeny) to appoint his successor and he did appoint hazrat Ali (peace be upon him) as his first and immediate successor in Ghadeer Khum.
The holy Prophet (P) reminded Muslims (including the sahabas) about two most weighty things when he said, "I am leaving two most precious things behind me; the Book of Allah, the Holy Qur'an and my ahlulbayt (household). So long as you holdfast unto both of these, you will never go astray and these two things will never separate from each other until they meet me at the fountain of Kawther"
After the passing away of the holy Prophet (pbuh&hf), Muslims have two options for their guidance; the holy ahlulbayt. All the rest.
Following the ahlulbayt of the holy Prophet is quite a sensible thing to do because:
    a. The ahlulbayt [the daughter of the holy Prophet, hazrat Fatimah, her husband Ali and their sons Hasan and Husain (peace and blessings of Allah be upon them all)] are the ones who grew up in the lap of the holy Prophet (P), Islam was revealed in their house, shariah was revealed in their house, the holy Qur'an was revealed in their house, the archangels descended in their house with salawat and salams from Allah, these are the people about who Allah testifies of their purity, infallibility and perfection in chapter 33 verse 33. These are the very people upon who Muslims are obligated to send salawat in their daily prayers/namaz/salat. ALLAHUMMA SWALLI ALAA MUHAMMADINW WA AALI MUHAMMAD. O Allah send blessings upon muhammad and his FAMILY.
Who can understand Qur'an, Islam, Shariah, sunnah of the holy Prophet better than these people?
As regards to the others, one needs to study the history of Islam and events like:-
    Da'wat Zul ashira
    Mubahila
    Ghadeer Khum
    Fadak
    Saqifa
    The battle of Jamal
    The battle of Siffeen
    Ashura
Please study the first twelve verses of Surah Tahreem
People who come out to debate with the Shi'as in public places will not let them speak freely because they are scared of the hell breaking loose and the house of cardboard falling apart like dominos.
This is why the Shi'as of the ahlulbayt are sometimes compared with the Jews, Christians, idol worshippers, Abdullah bin Sabah to name a few out of enmity and hatred.
Any truth and justice seeking person needs to carry out his/her own independent, academic and unbiased research on the school of the ahlulbayt.
Do not be a victim of prejudice, brainwashing, ignorance and misconceptions.

So wait Ali (ra) named his children Abu Bakr, Umar, Uthman.... yet we are supposed to believe this is a coincidence and he still hated them? In the same breath he gave his daughter to Umar (ra). Furthermore some of the 12 infallible imams named their children Aisha... how strange! Who nursed Fatima (ra) during her last illness? Abu Bakr (ra)’s wife! How strange again?! Who praised the sahaba and promised them Jannah in Al Quran? How strange! SubhanAllah Shia are lost may Allah guide them to the truth

Imam Ali (A.S) Was the Rightful Successor, Because the prophet Muhammad SAW made him, In his speech on the mountain.
And that is where it ends.. Imam Ali A.S never had appointed a successor, so the 11 imams after are not exactly the rightful ones. So the Sunni Shia thing is Dumb
& Sufism is morely being spiritual and trying to be 1 With Allah, Because he created Our souls, & that is a piece we have from the Creator directly. There is more than doing Salah and Duaa.. It is Deep Meditation along with prayers, and feeling Allah above You

This is how you feel the positive energy inside you. Because we are spirital beings.. Love one another, do good onto others & do Not judge, only Allah will judge for your deeds & what you have done. Be spiritual in life, prayer & meditation. & the Prophet Muhammad SAW said, Never be Aggresive.

If Ali’s name is mentioned in the Quran, many people will start calling themselves ali and then this will cause confusion and people won’t know who to follow. For example, give me a clear verse saying zakat is required or other important points to be explicitly stated. Allah says, “Follow Allah, the messenger and those vested with authority.” This doesn’t refer to those who are in charge and idhaaf is at work here and the reason why the messenger and the “vested with authority” are together which refers back to the connection of the prophet and his family. Also shamsi said ayah taheer is about wives however, shamsi havent you seen hadith thaqlain in sahih muslim, where Imam Hussein was asked about that and he said, “No, the ahlulabyt are the children of ali, the children of aqeel, and etc.”

Yazid b. Hayyan reported, I went along with Husain b. Sabra and 'Umar b. Muslim to Zaid b. Arqam and, as we sat by his side, Husain said to him:
Zaid. you have been able to acquire a great virtue that you saw Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) listened to his talk, fought by his side in (different) battles, offered prayer behind me. Zaid, you have in fact earned a great virtue. Zaid, narrate to us what you heard from Allah's Messenger (ﷺ). He said: I have grown old and have almost spent my age and I have forgotten some of the things which I remembered in connection with Allah's Messenger (ﷺ), so accept whatever I narrate to you, and which I do not narrate do not compel me to do that. He then said: One day Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) stood up to deliver sermon at a watering place known as Khumm situated between Mecca and Medina. He praised Allah, extolled Him and delivered the sermon and. exhorted (us) and said: Now to our purpose. O people, I am a human being. I am about to receive a messenger (the angel of death) from my Lord and I, in response to Allah's call, (would bid good-bye to you), but I am leaving among you two weighty things: the one being the Book of Allah in which there is right guidance and light, so hold fast to the Book of Allah and adhere to it. He exhorted (us) (to hold fast) to the Book of Allah and then said: The second are the members of my household I remind you (of your duties) to the members of my family. He (Husain) said to Zaid: Who are the members of his household? Aren't his wives the members of his family? Thereupon he said: His wives are the members of his family (but here) the members of his family are those for whom acceptance of Zakat is forbidden. And he said: Who are they? Thereupon he said: 'Ali and the offspring of 'Ali, 'Aqil and the offspring of 'Aqil and the offspring of Ja'far and the offspring of 'Abbas. Husain said: These are those for whom the acceptance of Zakat is forbidden. Zaid said: Yes.
It does not say anything about them being Ahul Bayt the way you follow them to be rather it says that Zakat is forbidden for them to pray.

    Salaamun alaikum bro/sis.
Why the Shia Imams (asws) were not Named explicitly in the Quran?
‘I asked Abu Abdullah (Shia 6th Imam asws) about the Words of Allah (azwj) Mighty and Majestic O you who believe! Obey Allah and obey the Rasool and those with (Divine) Authority from you [4:59]. So he (asws) said: ‘It was Revealed regarding Ali Bin Abu Talib (asws), and Al Hassan (asws), and Al Husayn (asws’).
So I said to him (asws), ‘The people are saying, ‘So why did Allah (azwj) not Name Ali (asws) and his (asws) Family in the Book of Allah (azwj) Mighty and Majestic?’
He (asws) said: ‘So say to them, ‘The Salat was Revealed unto Rasool-Allah (saww), and Allah (azwj) did not Specify for them, whether it was three or four, until it was RasoolAllah (saww) who interpreted that for them. THE HOLY QURAN CHAPTER 25 VERSE 23
In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful.
[25:23] And We will proceed to what they have done of deeds, so We shall render them as scattered floating dust
In a lengthy Hadeeth from Imam Al-Baqir (asws), when Abu Is’haq said, ‘And I find that the ones from your (asws), enemies, and the ones who are hostile to you (asws), (Nasibi), are the ones who are frequent in the Prayers, and the Fasts, and the taking out of AlZakat, and the going to the Pilgrimage (Al-Hajj) and the Umrah, and inciting to the Jihad, and enjoining to the righteousness, and for the maintaining of relationships, and the fulfilment of the rights of their brothers, and considering them equal with their wealth, and they keep away from drinking of intoxicants, and the adultery, and the sodomy, and the rest of the immoralities?’
Imam (asws), replied: ‘And if the Nasibi is upon what he is upon, from what you have described the qualities of his actions, even I (asws), were to give him what is between the East and the West of the gold and silver that he should decline from the love of the tyrants and their friends, and to be your friends, he would neither do it nor decline from it.
And if I (asws), were to strike them (Shiah) with the swords among them, and I (asws), were to do this among them, they would neither turn back nor return (to Kufr). However, when one of them (Nasabi) hears some of your praises and merits, he would become constricted by that, and his colour would change, and his abhorrence would become apparent in his face and his hatred for you (Shias) and their love for them’.
He (the narrator) said, ‘Al-Baqir (asws), smiled, then said: ‘O Ibrahim! Here is where they are destroyed [88:3] Labouring, hostile one (Nasibi) [88:4] Entering into burning fire [88:5] Made to drink from a boiling spring. And from that, Allah (azwj) Mighty and Majestic Said [25:23] And We will proceed to what they have done of deeds, so We shall render them as scattered floating dust’.

Shia Islam is based on the Quran and the message of the Islamic prophet Muhammad attested in hadith. The Shia believe that only God has the right to choose a representative to safeguard Islam, the Quran and sharia. Shia Muslims believe that just as a prophet is appointed by God alone, only God has the prerogative to appoint the successor to his prophet. They believe God chose Ali to be Muhammad's successor, infallible, the first caliph (khalifa, head of state) of Islam. Muhammad, before his death, designated Ali as his successor.
Thus the Shias look to Ali, he was Muhammad's first cousin and closest living male relative as well as his son-in-law, having married Muhammad's daughter Fatimah. Another indication of Ali's special merit was his birthplace. Ali is the only person born in the Kaaba the holiest place in the world. Most Sunni scholars accept the fact that imam Ali ibn Abi Talib was the only man in history born inside the holy Kaaba. being Birth in Kaaba was one out of many distinctions that God bestowed upon Ali as divinely appointed, as the rightful successor to Muhammad. Ali was also the first male who accepted Islam. Muhammad declared that Ali was his brother, inheritor and vice-regent and people must obey him. The Prophet also said: "I am the city of knowledge, and Ali is its gate. The Prophet also gave him the title of 'Asadullah' ('Lion of God') Muhammad, before his death, designated Ali as his successor. The proof is in Muhammed's farewell sermon: The Prophet also said: "There will be after me twelve Amirs, all of them from Quraysh."
    Muhammed from the farewell sermon
Oh people! Reflect on the Quran and comprehend its verses. Look into its clear verses and do not follow its ambiguous parts, for by Allah, none shall be able to explain to you its warnings and its mysteries, nor shall anyone clarify its interpretation, other than the one that I have grasped his hand, brought up beside myself, and lifted his arm,] the one about whom I inform you that whomever I am his master (Mawla, this Ali is his master (Mawla); and he is Ali Ibn Abi Talib, my brother, the executor of my will (Wasiyyi), whose appointment as your guardian and leader has been sent down to me from Allah, the mighty and the majestic.
Sahih Hadith in Islam in which the Islamic prophet Muhammad said on several occasions, referenced in both Sunni and Shiah sources from at least 37 chains of narrators in over 100 hadiths, that there will only be twelve Calpihs/Khalifah (successors) to him, all of whom are from Quraysh, that there will be impostor caliphs to guard against, and that after the last of the twelve caliphs, the earth will be swallowed (i.e. the Day of Judgement will occur).
More Hadith's: (for more proof please study these hadiths or even google them)
Shia Muslims believe that the status of Ali is supported by numerous hadith, including the Hadith of the pond of Khumm, Hadith of the two weighty things, Hadith of the pen and paper, Hadith of the invitation of the close families, and Hadith of the Twelve Successors. In particular, the Hadith of the Cloak is often quoted to illustrate Muhammad's feeling towards Ali and his family by both Sunni and Shia scholars both agree on this point. How much longer you will run from Truth.but the time is running out...

I say most of the Shiaas are Mushrik not because they say ill things about the first three rightly guided Caliphs of Muslim Ummaah but because their perception about Hazrat Ali and other 11 Imaams. They have equated the so called Imaams with Allaah Subhaanahu wa ta'aala. This is the worst kind of Sin anyone can do which will throw him out of the fold of Islaam. Allaah Subhaanahu wa ta'aala is alone not only in Peraon but also in His Attributes. *SubhaanAllaah*
I hate their concept of Taqayya and Tabarra.

*Shia AHLUL BAYT Imams in your own sunni books*
Their number is mentioned in the Sahih books of Ahlul Sunnah together with the fact that they were twelve in number, and that all of them descended from Quraysh; this is what al-Bukhari and Muslim, as well as many others, have confirmed.
The Prophet Appointed the Imams of the Shi`as in Sahih books of Ahlul Sunnah together with the fact that they were twelve in number
No researcher who has studied the biography of the Prophet, and who become familiar with the Islamic history, doubts the fact that the Prophet was the one who appointed the Twelve Imams, clearly stating so in order that they might succeed him and take charge of his nation.
Their number is mentioned in the Sahih books of Ahlul Sunnah together with the fact that they were twelve in number, and that all of them descended from Quraysh; this is what al-Bukhari and Muslim, as well as many others, have confirmed. Some Sunni references indicate that the Prophet named all of them, saying that the first of them was Ali ibn Abu Talib, followed by his son al-Hasan then al-Hasan's brother al-Husayn, followed by nine from the offspring of al-Husayn the last of whom is al-Mahdi.
The [Sunni] author of Yanabee` al-Mawaddah1 narrates the following incident in his book:
A Jew named al-A`tal came to the Prophet and said, “Muhammad! I wish to ask you about certain things which I have been keeping to myself; so, if you answer them, I shall declare my acceptance of Islam before you.” The Prophet said, “Ask me, O father of Imarah!”
So he asked him about many things till he was satisfied and admitted that the Prophet was right. Then he said, “Tell me about your wasi (successor): who is he? No prophet can ever be without a wasi; our prophet Moses had appointed Yusha` [Joshua] son of Noon as his successor.” He said, “My wasi is Ali ibn Abu Talib followed by my grandsons al-Hasan and al-Husayn followed by nine men from the loins of al-Husayn.” He said, “Then name them for me, O Muhammad!”
The Prophet said, “Once al-Husayn departs, he will be succeeded by his son Ali; when Ali departs, his son Muhammad will succeed him. When Muhammad departs, his son Ja`far will succeed him. When Ja`far departs, he will be succeeded by his son Musa. When Musa departs, his son Ali will succeed him. When Ali departs, his son Muhammad will succeed him.
When Muhammad departs, his son Ali will succeed him. When Ali departs, his son al-Hasan will succeed him, and when al-Hasan departs, al-Hujjah Muhammad al-Mahdi will succeed him. These are the twelve ones.” That Jew, therefore, embraced Islam and praised Allah for having guided him.2
If we wish to turn the pages of Shi`a books and discern the facts they contain with regard to this subject, we will surely find many times as many ahadith as this one, but this suffices to prove that the scholars of “Ahlul Sunnah wal Jama`a” admit that the number of the Imams is twelve, and there are no such Imams besides Ali and his purified offspring.
What strengthens our conviction that the Twelve Imams from Ahlul Bayt were never tutored by any of the Ummah's scholars is the fact that no historian, nor traditionist, nor biographer, has ever narrated saying that one of the Imams from Ahlul Bayt learned what he knew from some sahaba or tabi`een as is the case with all the Ummah's scholars and Imams.
Abu Hanifah, for example, was a student of Imam Ja`far al-Sadiq; Malik was a student of Abu Hanifah; al-Shafi`i learned from Malik and so did Ahmad ibn Hanbal. As for the Imams from Ahlul Bayt, their knowledge is gifted by Allah, Glory and Exaltation to Him, and they inherit such knowledge son from father, for they are the ones to whom the Almighty specifically refers when He says,
“Then We gave the Book for an inheritance to those whom We chose from Our servants” (Holy Qur'an, 35:32).
Imam Ja`far al-Sadiq has expressed this fact once when he said, “How strange some people are! They say that they derived all their knowledge from the Messenger of Allah, so they acted upon it and were guided! And they narrate saying that we, Ahlul Bayt, did not learn any knowledge, nor were we thereby guided, while we are his family and offspring: in our homes did the revelation descend; from us was knowledge imparted to people! Have they really learned and were guided while we remained in ignorance and misguidance?!”
How can Imam al-Sadiq not wonder at those who claimed to have learned from the Messenger of Allah while they bear grudge and animosity to his Ahlul Bayt and the gates of his knowledge which lead to such knowledge?! How can he help expressing such amazement at calling themselves Ahlul Sunnah while they do the opposite of what this Sunnah contains?!
If the Shi`as, as history testifies, have chosen Ali to support and defend against his enemies, fighting with him, concluding peace whenever he concluded it, learning all what they knew from him, “Ahlul Sunnah wal Jama`a,” contrariwise, were never his supporters, followers, or helpers.
Rather, they fought him and desired to put an end to him. Having killed him, they pursued his sons in order to kill, jail, or expel them. They oppose him in most ahkam (religious rulings) by following those who held views different from his, and who followed their own ijtihad with regard to Allah's commandments, changing them according to their wishes and to serve their own interests.
How can we nowadays help wondering about those who claim to adhere to the Prophet's Sunnah while they testify against themselves that they, indeed, abandoned the Prophet's Sunnah because it became the identification mark of the Shi`as?!3 Is this not strange?!
How can we help wondering about those who claim to be “Ahlul Sunnah wal Jama`a” (people who follow the path of the Prophet [P] and who follow the consensus) while there are many Maliki, Hanafi, Shafi`i, and Hanbali groups, each opposing the other with regard to the jurisdic injunctions, claiming that such differences are mercy to them? Is it merc to change Allah's religion to fit certain people's wishes, views, and desires...?!
Yes, they are various groups who disagreed among themselves in interpreting the commandments of Allah and His Messenger, yet they are united in endorsing the injustice that took place at the saqeefa of Banu Sa`ida, and in abandoning and isolating the Purified Progeny of the Prophet.
How can we help wondering about those who boast of being Ahlul Sunnah while they have abandoned the order of the Messenger of Allah to uphold the Two Weighty Things: the Book of Allah and his Progeny, despite their documentation of this particular tradition and their admission of its authenticity?!
They, indeed, upheld neither the Holy Qur'an nor the Progeny because by forsaking the Purified Progeny, they forsook the Holy Qur'an, too, since the sacred tradition indicates that the Holy Qur'an and the Progeny shall never part from one another, as the Messenger of Allah clearly stated: “And the most Benevolent and Knowing has informed me that they (the Holy Qur'an and the Progeny) shall never part till they join me at the Pool.”?!4

    • @godisjust591

How can we help wondering about people who claim to be the custodians of the Sunnah while their conduct, in fact, is contrary to what their own books classify as “authentic” Sunnah of the Prophet, of what he had done, ordered, or prohibited?5
But if we do believe in this tradition and in its authenticity, that is, the hadith saying, “I have left among you the Book of Allah and my Sunnah: so long as you uphold them (both), you shall never stray after me at all,” as some Ahlul Sunnah like to word it nowadays, our amazement will be even greater, and the scandal will be even more obvious:
It is so due to the fact that their own dignitaries and imams are the ones who burnt the Sunnah which the Messenger of Allah had left behind for them, prohibiting everyone from copying it or transporting its texts, as we have already indicated above.
The said statement by Umar ibn al-Khattab is included in all Sahih books of “Ahlul Sunnah,” including al-Bukhari and Muslim. [On his death bed] the Prophet said, “I have left among you the Book of Allah and my Sunnah,” whereupon Umar said to him, “The Book of Allah suffices us, and we have no need for your Sunnah.”
If Umar said so in the presence of the Prophet, Abu Bakr emphatically acted upon the view of his friend. And when he became caliph, Abu Bakr said, “Do not narrate any hadith of the Messenger of Allah, for whoever asks you, say to him, `Between us and you is the Book of Allah, so act upon what it permits and abstain from what it prohibits.'“6
How can we help wondering about people who abandoned the Sunnah of their Prophet and left it behind their backs, substituting it with innovations for which Allah never sent any proof, then they call themselves and their followers “Ahlul Sunnah wal Jama`a”?!
But our amazement disappears when we come to know that Abu Bakr, Umar and Uthman never heard such a label at all; Abu Bakr said once, “If you require me to implement the Sunnah of your Prophet, I cannot withstand it.”7
How is it possible that Abu Bakr could not withstand the Sunnah of the Prophet?! Was the Prophet's Sunnah something impossible so Abu Bakr could not withstand it?! And how can Ahlul Sunnah claim that they uphold it if their first imam and the founder of their sect could not withstand it?!
Allah has said in its regard the following verses:
“You surely have in the Messenger of Allah a good example.” (Holy Qur'an, 33:21)
“Allah never places a burden on a soul more than what it can bear.” (Holy Qur'an, 65:7)
“He has not laid down upon you any hardship in religion.” (Holy Qur'an, 22:78)
Did Abu Bakr and his friend Umar think that the Messenger of Allah invented a creed other than what Allah had revealed, so he ordered the Muslims to do what they could not, thus over-burdening them?
Far from him is such an allegation, for he used to quite often say, “Disseminate glad tidings; make things easy, and do not make them hard. Allah has granted you an ease, so do not make things hard for yourselves.” But Abu Bakr's admission that he could not tolerate the Prophet's Sunnah underlines our conclusion that he invented an innovation which he could “withstand” or “tolerate” according to his own wishes, one which agreed with the policies of the state he headed.

    Concept of Waseela in Quran
Allah himself has permitted and has asked to seek Waseela.
    Allah Most High says:
    يَا أَيُّهَا الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا اتَّقُوا الله وَابْتَغُوا إِلَيْهِ الْوَسِيلَةَ وَجَاهِدُوا فِي سَبِيلِهِ لَعَلَّكُمْ تُفْلِحُونَ
“O you who believe! Fear Allah and seek a means (waseelah) to him” (Surah al-Ma’ida, V: 35)
    Allah Almighty says:
"If they had only, when they were unjust to themselves, come to you (Prophet, Sallallahu Alayhi Wasallam) and asked Allah's forgiveness and the Messenger of Allah had asked forgiveness for them, they would have found Allah indeed forgiving and Most Merciful". (Surah al-Nisa, V: 64).
In Surah Al Baqarah, Allah Ta’la says,
“And when there came to them a Book from Allah confirming what is with them, although beforehand they had prayed for victory against those without faith…..” (Surah Al Baqarah verse no. 89)
    (i) In the commentary of this ayah, it is written in Tafseer-e-Jalalain that they were praying for victory over those who disbelieved saying, “O Allah, help us against them with the Prophet who will be sent at the end of time!”
(ii) According to Tafseer-e-Uthmani, the commentary of this ayah is that ‘Before the revelation of the Quran, the Jews, when vanquished by the infidels, prayed to God: ‘Give us victory and dominance over these infidels by the grace of the Last Prophet and the Book which will be given to Him.’
Someone may object to this by saying that this was an act of the Jews; hence it cannot be used as evidence for Muslims. However, Allah has mentioned this event in the Qur’an and did not condemn this; therefore this demonstrates that if it were impermissible the Holy Qur’an would not have mentioned it.

Think not of those who are slain in Allah's way as dead. Nay, they live, finding their sustenance in the presence of their Lord; They rejoice in the bounty provided by Allah. My mind cannot fathom reflecting directly on the light of Rasoallah because his greatness is so sublime he becomes unrelateable when it comes too everyday life.
I however spend time pondering over him in depth till my brain starts to hurt.
Have you choosen your role models or have they been chosen for you. Do they inspire you? Are they those who bring you on the straightest path? If your Akaal says so then I am happy for you.
      Peace.

Christians originally had Pagan roots, to which they had multiple gods. Long after Jesus was gone, they still had those pagan practices and intertwined them into accepting Jesus. They knew they couldn’t tell groups of polytheists that god was one, so they developed the trinity to make more people accept it.
The first followers of Jesus were Unitarians (ebionites/James the Just). The later Christians had to then twist the text to fit their already-existing beliefs. Even to the point they falsified the Bible further and added 1 John 5:7 into the Latin vulgate. Notice that verse was not there before that. Even the Bible in the footnotes says it’s not original.
I bring this up because shia do the same thing. They twist what they can to accommodate pre-existing beliefs.
We can look at the Bible of what Jesus said, and the entire Quran to see who were Prophets and that God is One.

P.S There is a Hadith in Sahih Muslim which goes like no one but a believer would love Hazrat Ali a.s and only Hypocrite would nurse grudge against him. So now as per the Ibn e Taymia’s admission and Hadith combined, ......... Shamsi would know better 🙂 !
