And if it STILL doesnt sink after that, hold the power button to the xbox till it fully shuts off (hard reset) unplug everything, wait a couple minutes, plug eeeeverything back in, turn your xbox on and resync your controller. Iv been having this issue for days, and THAT seemed to work

This only worked temporarily for me; I have to wire my controller to my console, turn the controller on, then I can pair it to my phone and then back to the console like you showed, but once the controller is turned off, it just does what it did before; blinks once and stays off.

Ok I fixed mine that day by using my phone and connecting Bluetooth to my controller and then switching it back
