To me collecting sneakers is like collecting art. I wear them but i don’t beat them up. I still keep them in the best condition possible, but always wearable no matter what. I see sneakers especially something as beautiful as New Balances as something to be admired, while also rocking for daily situations. Just got into new balance and found this channel and love the content. Really researching what pairs I should start the collection with so all this info and personal recommendations are great.
Great thing about having a large sneaker collection is that you basically have a shoe for every occasion and outfit. Yes, some will be worn more than others (e.g., grey 990v6), while others might be worn strictly for a formal event (e.g., AJ11 Gratitudes with a well tailored suit). And then there’s everything in between. Most of my kicks look brand new and fresh primarily because I rotate them often, take good care of them, and I have a relatively cush desk job. YMMV
I couldn’t agree more, having a ton of sneakers is amazing. I have a sneaker for absolutely anything lol. I love wearing sneakers with suits, it just feels so right. People always ask my how I keep my sneakers so clean and it’s because I rotate them and take such good care of them. If you do that they last forever

I wore the 574 series it’s good for running on long runs and styling casually in variety of colorways
I never thought to run in them, I’m going to try that out!
