Great review subbed and yes you should have remove original plastic screen protector and install tempered glass. It's a flat screen made of glass. If you drop it it will break unless it's made of plastic not glass, but it's flat so there's no reason to not have installed tempered glass at all times. I've been doing this on construction site for 10 years. Never broke flat phone display just bunch of 5£ tempered glass screen protectors over the years that were easy to replace
God Bless you for your exclusive content. Totally enjoying your channel. Thank you! Also, not so much close-ups on G2 Guardian in youtube, so you're the Top pick definitely. Btw, which phone do you personally use and why?
Thanks for watching Dmitrijs, I really appreciate the kind words! I personally use the AGM H5 Pro because I'm super rough with my phones and it hasn't broken on me yet, and the specs are more than good enough for regular everyday use :)
Haha I see what you're saying, but here's a video from a 3-year old device, the Blackview BV9700 Pro, getting thrown down stairs and taking much more of a tumble, yet being totally unaffected: ruclips.net/video/zFvpzD__SrM/видео.html Also, the BV9700 Pro is only MIL-STD-810G, whereas the G2 Guardian is supposed to be 810H, which should be even more durable. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Hello 🙋🏻♂️ Can we add a removable polarized lens on the top of the thermal camera so that minimise the effect of the thermal sensor getting damaged from the morning time usage or when we shoot videos or take pics in broad sunny day light in summer. Or is it good to cover it entirely with DIY cap without exposing the thermal sensor to the direct sun light like what you said.
H, sudently, fingerprint sensor desapered from settings?? No fingerprint even after hard reset my agm g2 guardian, can someone have the package APK of the app fingerprint, I will try to reinstall, hope the problem is not material?
it s true that AGM G2 guardian is not the only smartphone with Long range distance thermal camera, there's others described as long range thermal camera as doogee v20 pro and iiif150 raptor, it is true or only a fake imitation??
I haven't pointed any other thermal imaging phones at the sun like this, but from what I can tell, it seems like FLIR thermal imaging sensors might not be as susceptible to sun damage. But it depends on the material the manufacturer uses. FLIR says they use uncooled Vanadium Oxide (VOx) technology to protect from solar damage. BUT, not all manufacturers offering FLIR use VOx. Some use stuff like Amorphous Silicon or Barium Strontium Titanate. And these materials are not as protective against solar damage. But they will often tell you in their product manuals to not point it at the sun. I'm not sure what material or level of thermal protection is offered by other thermal imaging cameras, but if they use FLIR and they don't say "don't point this at the sun" in their user manuals or product videos, they are probably at least decently protected. But after my experience with the G2 Guardian (which is not labeled a FLIR sensor), I would definitely want to write to the phone manufacturer and ask them directly before taking it out into the sun. For example, the Power Armor 18T uses FLIR, and in their manual it doesn't say that the sun can damage it, so I'm guessing it would be at least a little protected. But again, I haven't tried it myself, and I would want to write to the company before assuming anything.
The moment you realize that the "broken screen" in this guy's video is just the included glass screen protector, everything else he's said immediately becomes discredited.
It is listed as IP68/IP69K but I wasn't able to test that after the screen cracked. Am talking with AGM now about them sending me another G2 Guardian to finish reviewing. If that happens, I will definitely test the waterproofing!
all I care is the screen , I've 2 phones + 1 replaced screen broken from small drops so 3 screens , my only reason is looking for " Rugged " phone is the screen, so thank you for this video , I'll pass .

Honnest review ever, no one talk about if this phone is really rugged, mine was broken too after falls, only 3 days after purchase
Dang that sucks! How far did yours fall?

Great job on this more in depth review. Keep doing this type of thing. Subbed

The Fossibot F101 is like the mini cheaper version of this. Speaker might even be louder.
Since you dig in depth how come you did notice that the battery hardly goes out the day in medium use???
Comparing this phone with the new Doogee v20 pro. Which is better in terms of performance, battery and cameras?
Does it support glove touch? I mean it should be operated with gloves since its made for ice cold fields!
How about the big speaker? Skipped that part?
i bought one, i change the cover by the one in the box because the original screen protector is not glass.

That's a great question! I'm not sure about that, but personally I wouldn't risk it - I would cover it as much as possible.
I threw my AGM glory pro at my wardrobe door at full capacity, the door had a hole in it and the phone didn't have a scratch on it.

Is the sun going to be an issue with all thermal cams on phones or is there something in particular with this phone which makes it more susceptible?

Hi. Do you know if the pins on the back can supply power as well as charge?
The pins at the back are for a docking station you can buy and use to charge the phone

Can it go white hot instead of red hot?
Yes you can customize the color palette to whatever you want it to be
Any chance you can do a review on the conquest s23?
