Thank you all, great job, as always! The best part of ANY festival is the FOOD, of course!! Ryuno - When you were cutting your empanada right on the water, I thought your hand was going to slip, it would go flying into the lagoon, and you'd kill some sort of Disney wildlife with the spice! LOL. ADORE Craig & Ryno together, and how they playoff of each other, and just make each other better!! Poor Erica seemed kind of left out, and I felt a bit bad for her, but I guess 2''s company, and it's old time friends, right? That hummingbird cake DOES sound DELICIOUS!!
The spicy ajiaco soup at the encanto totally brings the heat. I cut the corn from the cob down into the soup to make it easier to eat. Great portion size for the price.

I'm glad that the chorizo and potato empanada and the sushi donut are still delicious in 2023! Last year, I went to Festival of the Arts and I had both of these dishes and I still remember how good they tasted. Did you try the passion fruit mousse at Vibrante & Vivido? If not, I recommend it. The dessert paired well with the empanada. Will you be reviewing other food booths in a future video?
Hey Dis Team, I know Erica probably didn’t mean anything by it (given the word has sort of become distanced from the origin) but the term “g*pped” has some really negative connotations for the Romani people. I’m not Romani (so anyone please feel free to correct me) but I know some people of Romani origins who take offense to the word. Just some knowledge to help keep the dis an inclusive community. Love your content!
Unsure of how to send a private message, but just had to say on the side, when reviewing the sushi doughnut, Erica (apologies if that’s not the spelling) says she feels “gypped.” It’s a bit of an outdated term that isn’t used anymore because of it’s negative connotation for the Romani culture. Just a friendly reminder in case you didn’t know! (We grew up not knowing that term was referring negatively to the Romani culture and associating them with “stealing”). Just looking out for ya!
