    Nine minutes and 34 seconds very well spent. Thank you. Early C4s are under appreciated treasures, and this one is obviously well loved.

    For some reason not a lot of people like these corvettes I have the same car but with a tan interior and cloth seats and I love it it is my first muscle car and they are relatively cheap a perfect starter car.

    This video it's very beauty. It's my style of You have used photografic tecnic in this motion picture. Very good. About the Corvette C4: it's wordefull. And the engine: walk around smooth at 1000 rpm and the mpg it's 13 with a V8 5700 cc. Very impressive. In Europe a 2000 cc gasoline have equal average! And in Europe the people talk: "the american cars it's very poor for average gasoline use. Mad people. Wonderfull USA car!

    • @rogerramjet5092
      @rogerramjet5092 7 лет назад

      Yes but w/o the effortless torque also you can completely neglect the near bullet proof sbc and it will still be running at 200k miles. The MPG on the highway is more like 25, 13 is the in town stop & go mileage. It makes that MPG while moving a 33oolbs car with an automatic trans. American say European cars are too small and gutless... Cute but impractical. Gas is also much cheaper in the USA. 1 of our gallons is very close to 4 liters. Even now with shortages caused by the hurricanes 9/11/17 I paid only $2.45 a gallon US. So the price of gas changes the balance. Also, small cars with buzzy engines get tiring on long journies. Over the long labor day weekend. I drove 5hrs to visit relative in Dallas Fort Worth area. this is in Texas is the 2nd largest state in the union with good long mostly Straight roads. Think Autobhaun with low-speed limits75mph =12okph, but most will drive 80-mph=128kph. most of the way.
      A Little tip the interstate highways are numbered so that most of the even numbers run E & W while odd numbers run N & S also the loops that drive around major cities end in 10 such as 410 for San Antonio or 610 for Houston.

I just bought this identical car for 2200 dollars last week..Its not quite as nice as this one but it is all original and hasnt been messed with..I had to replace the cluster 300.00..Glass top 330.00.Headlight gears 25.00 and a original bose delco 50.00 with all 4 speakers........It is DONE!!..It has the original seals which have been well taken care of too...85k miles...How much does it sound like its worth?? It is super clean but probably not as clean as this guys on here!

    Nice car. Good video. Looks like your oil pressure sender may be bad. 80 psi is not real. Mine read 85 psi when it was bad. Now I have an accurate reading. If you do change it out I would suggest getting the best on you can find. Not cheap, but I made the mistake of buying the cheap one and had to replace it a week later. Nice car sir!

      +RonTaboga Not entirely sure. but i believe the crossfire injection has something to do with it. or maybe the block cannot handle that temperature. not sure though.

    • @Fofocaste
      @Fofocaste 8 лет назад +1

      It's because GM put a tiny ported intake on it causing it not to rev up. If you port or swap the intake manifold it will rev up to I believe 6,000 Rpms max. Also you'll be a lot quicker in acceleration

    • @Fofocaste
      @Fofocaste 8 лет назад +4

      They are very good engines. Don't listen to people when they say Crossfire is crap. If you keep it in good shape, check everything it will stay good. Crossfire does have some flaws, but make sure that everything responds right, It will work correctly. I had 2 of them, both great cars. I sold one because i didnt need 2. If anything goes wrong, just look it up online it will tell you what to fix. They also sell many parts for them and you could put upgrades on it as well.

    • @rogerramjet5092
      @rogerramjet5092 7 лет назад +1

      They are sbc the injection was the major problem. I won;t say most, but many were converted to carburetors. The most common problem was a start and stall issue. After the 2nd start, they usually ran fine. The issue was usually the IAC (idle air control) being out of adjustment. An easy fix but none knew back then finally GM released a TSB ( TROUBLE & SAFTEY BULLETIN) on it.

      L83 is the type of engine put in the corvette. It's the crossfire. All 1982 and 1984 corvettes are L83's. It doesn't matter if it's a manual or automatic.
