The installation process is the same for the Champion 50-amp manual transfer switch (model 201193).

This is exactly what I needed info on. So rather than going to individual breakers and making connections inside the panel, you make those connections inside the transfer switch going through one 30 or 50 amp breaker.
Could the same be done with a pProtran2 box?
Double pole breakers are only needed if I want to run a hot water tank or something like that, correct? Otherwise all breakers inside transfer switch would be 120v.
