What is your go-to meal at Cracker Barrel?
Favorite breakfast meal is french toast with bacon- so good. Later in the day meal is fried chicken livers with hash brown casserole and cole slaw.

Meatloaf, mashed potatoes, greenbeans, corn miffins and coleslaw… i love the chicken fried chicken at breakfast with hashbrown casserole, biscuits and gravy. Yum… my hubby loves the Turkey dinner on thursdays.
Chicken and dumplings
Old school is always been the way to go to keep people happy,keeping the customer happy you have to keep doing what makes them happy.
I think Cracker Barrel is great - have always had a delicious meal there from breakfast to dinner....all good with a nice menu. Wish we had one closer than 200 miles away in any direction. Gonna ask for a chocolate shake on our next trip!

There’s no omelette on their menu but when I ask they make me one.
You sure? Last time, I looked at their menu, they did and, this was very recent, over a month ago!
@@sonyafox3271 I haven’t been for about a year or so. You could be completely right. I used to go often when I lived close to one.

Great For Breakfast if you don't mind waiting 45-60 minutes for your food .

Used to be my favorite place to eat but now so many of their tried & true menu items are gone since Covid. The menu is so much smaller. Seems like the corporation is focusing more on their new (cheap) alcohol instead. Sad.
You sure, over a month ago, the last time, I went, they had quite a bit of their regular menu items!
I just went less than a week ago. Although some items are coming back, it’s still not the same. Example: They once had a great haddock dish. Haddock is mild and really the only fish I truly like. In the interests of cutting costs they’ve switched it to catfish. I grew up having to eat catfish that we caught, out of necessity. Yuck and no thanks.
They also have rainbow trout. 😊

Crackerbarrel employee here: At my restaurant, if servers don’t, can’t, or won’t sell enough alcohol (wine, mimosas, bloody Mary’s) they get taken off the schedule 🙃

I work at Cracker Barrel and if anyone asked for these things I would have no idea what to do we definitely do not have these things at least not anymore
@Jed Flanders I’ve been there for a year and a half yes you can get the unlimited bread but not hbr there is also no milkshakes we don’t even have the machines capable of making them
I am pretty sure people at Cracker Barrel only lets people in on their secret menu, like they wouldn’t deny it for their regulars but, a customer passing through that might not be a regular customer, they would probably deny such a thing existed!
@@sonyafox3271No, I am a dishwasher at Cracker Barrel, have been for a while and even I have asked for a milkshake and they said that it is not an item that is served. Besides, there is no milkshake machine in the kitchen.

Their breakfast's are a little too greasy!
Nothing in this video is true, there are no milkshakes and the unlimited hbc or bread is no more, price inflation ruined that.
Cracker barrel is WAY over hyped. Basically it's the same as dinty more. At least for anything not breakfast.
