    Hello thanks for sharing but my question is, can we do these steps from our mobile phone? Because I don't see any story setting when I use a mobile phone though. Or do we need to use a laptop in order to do that?
    Also, which link do I need to put into the canonical link? The blog post link or my blog link. Please answer okay, thank you

      Not from the app; but you can pull up Medium on your phone using a browser, and access the advanced settings there. Add the blog post link.

    Is it safe to publish my wordpress blog post on medium

      Not sure what you mean by safe... but if you're worried about losing ranking or traffic for your WordPress site, well, that's what the canonical link is all about, to make sure that doesn't happen.

    Hello, I use a service that automatically posts my Wordpress blogs to medium, will this work or will it damage my seo?

    • @thesideblogger
      @thesideblogger  Год назад

      If the canonical link is properly edited then you should be fine. I don't know which service you use, but the canonical link is something you should be able to check easily on your end.

      @@thesideblogger I use a service called pabbly connect and when I publish something on Wordpress it goes automatically to my medium account and I’m not sure if it puts the canonical link in place how it should be, how would I check that?

    • @thesideblogger

      Go and check the canonical link on your Medium story. If you watch the video, you'll know where to check.@@Digitalcataloghub

      @@thesideblogger i found out, another question I have is that I have a backlog of blog posts so like 10 if I repurpose all of them in minutes using the canonical link would that be detrimental since I posted 10 blog posts to medium in the span of minutes or is it ok to do this?

    • @thesideblogger
      @thesideblogger  Год назад

      I honestly don't know the answer to that. But if it were me, I'd spread them out and publish maybe one or two posts per day. But that's simply me. I don't like crowding my followers' feeds. At some point, you just have to make your own decisions based on what feels right to you.@@Digitalcataloghub
