    I've been planning to buy knitting needles as I've been crocheting for awhile. What a great opportunity to stumbled across this video! I gotta order the needles. 🥹🫶🏼

    finished this top a few days ago and im absolutely IN LOVE!! ❤ i’m so inspired by your designs i’m already starting to make another one of these in a different yarn :D
    might modify it by doing it without the drop stitches-would you recommend just keeping 2 stitches in their place? also, is the start of your round/where you cast off right where the drop stitches are? that’s where they ended up for me! thanks so much again and i’d love more tutorials like this on your other summer tops, i love your style!! 🫶

    Ahh I love your designs so much I'm so excited that you have started making tutorials!! Do you think that this top would still fit nicely around the torso if I left out the dropped stitches, or should I do less decreases when switching to the 10mm needles to compensate?

    • @Lucky777Loops
      @Lucky777Loops  2 месяца назад +1

      the top should still fit nicely without the drop stitches on the bottom! I’ve made the top without drop stitches as well, it’ll look tiny while you’re knitting it up but trust in the stretch ☺️ just make sure to use a stretchy bind off!

    love this tutorial!! i’ve already started working the first section and it’s looking cute, for section 2 would u recommend doing a gauge swatch with the 10mm needles to figure out how many rows plus the 2in needed?

    • @Lucky777Loops
      @Lucky777Loops  2 месяца назад +1

      ah thank you!!!! I hope all is going well so far ☺️ I def recommend making a lil swatch, especially if you’re not sure how long to make the 10mm part!! I forgot to mention that in the video 😭

    do you just knit , or also purl ? i just started knitting and im not sure :(

    • @ArixKnowles
      @ArixKnowles Месяц назад

      If your knitting flat with straight needles then yes you'd have to purl to make stockinette stitches but with Circular needles you don't have to purl to make stockinette stitches I hope this help( I'm also a beginner 😅😅😅)

      I’m using Malabrigo Rios!! It’s wool and it’s the best there are so many stunning colors 🥰 also agree kanthony is the best couple !!!!

    Hi! How long are the cables of the 5mm and 10mm needles that you used?

    • @Lucky777Loops
      @Lucky777Loops  Месяц назад

      I used 16 inch circulars!! You could probably go up a couple lengths depending on your size, I just prefer to have the stitches all bunched up bc it helps me knit faster haha

    What type of yarn? Cause I'm not sure what to use that will work for summer weather... other than cotton😅

    • @Lucky777Loops
      @Lucky777Loops  2 месяца назад +1

      I used Malabrigo Rios which is a wool yarn, though it’s very breathable! In addition to cotton, bamboo and linen yarns are wonderful options for summer!
