I feel like using Sparkle for this video was fitting, considering its not really a Sparkle solo and more of a specter solo. Masked Fool like behaviour.
I honestly think they made UD specifically to test the upcoming summon meta. Would not be surprised if some of the effects in this game mode are the future kits of summons, great vid tho!
There is one that's actually kind of intresting in UD and that is cleansing module. Cleansing module is so absurd because it essentially defeats the whole purpose of UD, letting the scepters carry you. In one of my runs I managed to get two 3 star cleansing module components on my scepters and boy it was crazy. My Ratio would just take turns after turns and not even let the enemies attack, it was actually kind of funny to see them just standing there getting chalked constantly by Ratio. He probably did like almost a hundred turns in a single cycle I'm not even joking. I wish I had recorded it. I still don't understand on how it actually works though...
Cleansing module is actually goated, it make the gamemode so fun. My feixiao would take turns after turns dealing 10mil dmg every attacks. It my favorite module atm.
@@M0s_FPS Exactly, ironically it actually makes the gamemode more fun by letting the characters do insane amounts of damage instead of the scepters lol
I did similar thing last week, but the spd scepter was equipped with extinction program, and as a result, the scepter did everything and my character didn't need to do anything It means anyone can "solo" the final fight in this mode (boring) (Also Acheron can spam Ult because all scepter can apply debuff)
This mode basically just a specters parade cause the enemy has one hell of hp sure you can use your characters to do "some" damage but you will not see how much it dropped due to how hella high the hp are
Hot take I think this mode is a grower and more people will like it when we discover the stupid potential of some setups (Boothill with cleansing module + the break component that boosts your BE to the heavens is the funniest shit ever, MARK MY WORDS). I kinda think it's like DU at least for me because for the moment it's really not balanced (break is lacking imo compared to the other paths) but if HSR does balance it it could be fun. DU grew on me and I won't lie UD is growing on me too, especially when I experiment with buffs out of my paths (Brain in a Vat is cracked u can't tell me otherwise) Something this mode does RIGHT compared to all other expansions (which is a huge compliment because like you G&G is my favorite mode ever and I don't think we're getting a mode that's close to this soon) is that conundrums feel more like a "I need to plan ahead, know what I need and want to get" problem than a pure damage / sustain problem. Feels more like you need to have the skill (and luck) to pull things off than "omg I need this limited sustain not to die or to use this double ruan mei cheese". And I do agree that g&g's main drawback for people is the fact you have to read what components do and I feel like it's the same for this mode but seeing this I have great hopes to see dumb things happen. While people argue that they don't like the mode because "scepters do all the damage" you can choose to have your characters deal the damage instead (in some instances, maybe not all). FUA relies mostly on this. Break too. But yeah, if you don't enjoy doing UD content I don't think anyone will chastise you for that, it seems to be a very global sentiment across the channels I'm watching and I think runs are more interesting whenever the person doing them is enjoying crafting those runs x/
Sparkle to the rescue! to me, the UD is kinda miss on hoyo's part, but i'm sure you're totally right that it's a test ground for them - the summons are coming soon, and UD is just an illustration of it. but sitting thru 15 min of 100+M boss just taking damage from scepter is not really fun... i'm probably one of a few that still like the original SU 🤣when i get any new character, i take them for a spin there - it's fast, familiar, and easy... DU is ok, and GnG is somehow too slow for me. also, still trying to pull for Rappa, any jades and tickets i get... i've lost at pity 85 to Welt, it hurt so bad, cuz she's too punklorde to skip... i think i'll skip both Sunday and Fugue, probably save for OG Herta
You have the best takes on the endgame SU/DUs GnG is by far the best, DU was made to be simpler (but reducing the skill/creative expression in the process), and UD is imba with some of the same RNG issues as DU. Scepter customization is cool, but samey
This simulated universe is the easiest and have least RnG atleast for me. I clear all conundrum stage in one try using Feixiao team and she deals 10-14 if all the debuff from sceptre is applied the damage can get to 23 mill per hit. Also i always got component that give u extra turn .all of those damage not inlclude sceptre damage that deals 10-30mill/activation
3:50 im planning to get aventurine (ive already prefarmed for him), but unfortunately im gonna have to skip his signature LC to save more golden passes for e0s1 sunday (still prefarming his stuff)
@@zengao you literally still can use you characters in this mode, the poster just chose a set up where he could put the scepters in an infinite loop, I was literally able to make Gallagher do 37 million and rappa do like 60 million, you guys just dk how to play it yet. This same argument has been said even when gng came out
I wasn't able to clear even conundrum 1 with any of my teams, at all. Not using blessings and instead having these scepters that I barely know how they work... it's so underwhelming and boring

Tried FuA. Instead of scepters, my characters take 100 turns within 10 AV
I picked whatever is that why my ratio was doing 10 mil to 32 mil FUA

I usually reset the run if I don't have a desirable 1st decision component.

My opinion on DU has recently increased tbh. The only issues I have with it is weighted curios and some balance issues.
I just highly disliked dus rng, but this mode is much more boring compared to DU. But atp i think GnG was actually the best mode by far lmao
