They think it gives them more credibility with the actual fans, so they'll stick around. But, no amount of lies or gaslighting can cover up the stench of fake fans. They reek, and their products reek even more. And there is little that a real fan hates more than a fake fan claiming to know better than you.

Enthusiasm is highly underrated as an actual driving force in performance. Even a bad actor in a movie is instantly watchable as long as they're just glad to be there. It even happens in the writing. It's impossible to really nail, but the audience can actually feel it when it happens.

Axel Braun, is probably a bigger fan of both SW and Marvel (and DC for that matter) then 95% of the people working at WB, Lucasfilm and Marvel. And more knowledgable then the heads of those studios. And Wes Craven and Paul Thomas got their starts in the the Corn industry. Learning how to get the most of out of incredibly small budgets and questionable 'acting talent', not to mention all the other problems associated with that area. Then studios switched to getting them from Music videos and I don't regard that as an upgrade. Arch, maybe you should ask Axel for an interview on this subject. Well I am going to say something about Captain Marvel but not only did her costume down play sex appeal but her personality was like being kicked in the face by a golf shoe. You would think that she would make her character at least somewhat attractive personality wise but no it’s worse.

It used to be that cosplayers were always reminded that Hollywood had tons of teams to help them with their costumes. And a cosplayer worked by themselves in a garage of their bedroom with limited funds. That isn't mentioned as much as those passionate individuals often make WAY better stuff than Hollywood now with all those funds and people.

Axel Braun, is probably a bigger fan of both SW and Marvel (and DC for that matter) then 95% of the people working at WB, Lucasfilm and Marvel. And more knowledgable then the heads of those studios.
And Wes Craven and Paul Thomas got their starts in the the Corn industry. Learning how to get the most of out of incredibly small budgets and questionable 'acting talent', not to mention all the other problems associated with that area. Then studios switched to getting them from Music videos and I don't regard that as an upgrade.

Her budget is obviously bigger than the entire new marvel budget, even her special effects are better.
