It is unreal how much Dreadbox packed into one module here. 4-3 mixer. Buffered adder and splitter. Triangle (and a hack for square) LFO. 4 attenuverters. Distortion via the pulserizer. This is like five modules for less than $100. It’s possibly the best Eurorack utility value on the market right now.

Wow. That module does so much, and yet without ever getting confusing like some other modules I have tried wrapping my head around. Partly the logical and clear layout makes it easy to understand. Well done, Yiannis and Dimitra.
Utopia is fantastic! Got one a few weeks ago, it just offers so much in a tiny space. Essential for my 6U Rackbrute. So much thought went into this Chromatic line, they easily outperform similarly priced modules. I was using a gate button module to advance my step sequencer but the signal was too much (10v) and caused it to skip steps. So I ran the signal through the Pulserizer, which tamed the gate, and the sequencer works perfectly now. haha Good stuff.
Great product! As soon as you have a couple of other basic modules, this one does a lot of things that you need. It really allows you to get experimental with only basic stuff. Perfect for industrial type sounds.
Question: if you plug in CV into inputs 1 through 4, then audio into inputs a-d, and output that audio with the sum outputs, will the audio outputs be modulated by the CV in the inputs 1-4?
I get that ‘chromatic’ series calls for a colorful faceplate... but there is nothing better looking than a full black rack IMHO. Lovely little modules at an unbeatable price range though.
You could take the panel off and spray it your desired color? I'm probably going to do it to my Ataxia, the layout for the module is symmetrical so I can spray it on the other side and preserve the front panel in case I change my mind. The main thing that bothers me with the chromatic range is how close the trimmer pots are to patch cables when they are patched. Makes it awkward to use them. I'm considering designing a few small modules specifically to control them for live performance.

I brought it two months ago. I use it as cv mixer with a sample&hold it is great . Your videos are great too
