yangboi567 that movie is one of my favorites!! Next day after watching it I’d cover my horse and myself with license plates and and motorcycle helmet and I used a teepee pole and had my friend hold a metal garbage can lid and I’d joust!! Lol
The knights actually came to my city about 6 years ago when I was learning about knights and stuff. I was lucky to get a wooden sword and hunt down a knight to sign it.
It's like getting in a car crash is the best way to explain this all that energy is pushed into the end of that tip that's crazy...it's like 5000 lbs of force..
To be fair, hitting a mounted man in full plate harness (and most likely padded jack underneath) with a lance _specifically_ designed to spread apart the point of impact is... fairly safe, so to say.
@@baronprocrastination1722 not necessarily because people can get thrwon off of their horse and helmets can fly off I’ve seen people get broken noses before
@@baronprocrastination1722 this troupe the lances are not meant to break and there is still gruesome injuries broken ribs collar bones etc and multitudes of concussions
What kind of horses do they use? They look huge... The white ones remind me of destrier. they look like they would put a big punch of force on t hose impacts!
dude... many American have roots in Europe my family ancestors came to the US from France in the early 1700's and many stayed behind we still keep in contact with that branch of the family overseas hundreds of years later and last i checked there were one or two knights in the family history either that or some other lesser noble...
How on god´s fine earth is this not an olympic discipline??!!!
Because its not boring enough ?
Because there is not enough men with courage and fear of mangling himself.
a couple broken necks in it would be banned... Sadly :z
@@MrCouchmen that courage costs 30 to 40 grand plus the horse.
"I can't believe we're still doing this shit..." - Horse.
LOL. It's a joke, this is freaking awesome!
It's a shame that Full Metal Jousting wasn't renewed for a second season, I really enjoyed it!
I'VE BEEN SITTING HERE FOR DAYS! START THE DAMN JOUST BEFORE I PISS MYSELF!

Wow thanks for editing out all the talking
Why is this not on prime time TV with teams from all over the world?
Everyone here talking shit about Americans but the guy clearly says that they're Canadians.
my new favorite kind of videos
Me encantaria que este deporte se extendiera mas y se considerara un deporte olimpico ""knight forever""
Who else lives in Indiana?
Just me? If not hello fello Hoosiers
1:12 almost gave a Roman salute. Cant do that...
Why not?
The "Heil" motion from WW2 Nazi Germany was based on the Roman Salute.
Ohhhh ok
Ryukey so they are the best
Lol
Writing about Anthony Wydeville requires everything I can learn about jousting.
I never been to knights of velour.
Urge to crusade intensifies
imagine how hot they are in that armour
I am surprised that none of them fainted from that heat.
They were playing du hast by rammstein
du du hast mich
Du hast mich gefragt
@@Bread_0 du bist scheiße
I want to know what those hand coverings are on there lance
they are called vamplates and are made of steel. Sorry for replying to a 2 year old comment :)
Dream job, OH MY GOD!!!!
That's insane! But don't people get injured? I used to think jousting was pretty deadly back in the day.
To be fair, hitting a mounted man in full plate harness (and most likely padded jack underneath) with a lance _specifically_ designed to spread apart the point of impact is... fairly safe, so to say.
only deadly if the Lance is tipped.
jousting was actually fairly safe

does the horse need armor?
it really should have armor
just in case
naa not rly
Yeah, historically people often jousted in barding
Surprised the horses dont have eye protection or something. Awesome sport
What kind of horses do they use? They look huge... The white ones remind me of destrier. they look like they would put a big punch of force on t hose impacts!
Seems like they grabbed whatever would equate a Destrier warhorse.
All of their horses are large draft breeds: Clydesdale, Fresian, Percheron, etc. And most of their horses are actually rescue horses, as well.
I read yall gripe about the horse. Yet you eat cow. I'm no a vegan- I'm just saying.
TimesThree Yeah but us who eat meat don't run at a cow for 50mph and put a Lance in its eye socket either.
sightinsight what lol
Their hair is very medieval..
American knights xD
BULLS EYE FROM POINT BLACK. SO IMPRESSIVE
try doing that on a beast running at 50mph bumping up and down
Yeah its probably kind of hard actually
Cannot hear-computer and headphones test out correctly, but still this video has no sound!
Stopped watching when heard the music. Really?
Same music used by the show producers - knights of valour
STOLEN valor does not count

Doesn't stolen valor refer to people lying about being veterans?
