Tip for the dance clip if you’re on mobile: do the same thing as on computer, press your character up against the wall. Then, do the dance (must be dance2!) and wait until the character’s right arm is stable the first time (like at the very beginning of the dance) once that happens, the immediate moment it does, zoom all the way in and zoom out. Hopefully this works for you, it’s how I did it on my tablet.

You have to still do the steps, but you don’t need the money. It’s impossible to get the secret hat for the first time whilst getting the complications badge since you can only get $113 *max* and the bloxiades for the machine are $14 total ($7 each) so after buying the bloxiades you can only have max $99 when the hat is $101.
