On a level 70 boss we can't even talk about dps, it's just about who nuke him first

and upon that he uses food buffs which clearly remove the reality of character potential.. For eg:- Carlotta and xangliyao can't stand with jinshi and camellya with out food buffs ..

If this test were more even handed we could see who the real best DPS is but look at their stats. His Camellya is stacked but his Carlotta is lacking.
i have been telling people from day one, DPS characters will all be the same dps wise, but different in the way they execute their dps. it is very easy to keep wuthering waves balanced, no broken mechanics that only some characters can take advantage of, good comparison.
There are tier lists for a reason though, they chose these because they're the top 4. The only reason this video makes it look like they're close is because the boss they chose has 2 damage caps, normalizing everyone burst damage. Either all echo's should have been removed, or he should have been in the overdrive zone with rounds covering different scenarios.

@@DontGiveUp_Skeleton their dmg output still close, the difference is their execution and strengths, some are better on AoE and other in single tagert, other are better on sustain dmg and other at nuke, but their dmg celling still comparable. Even Jiyan if played properly can perform similar to the characters on this videos, and he does even have a premium support like Carlotta, Yao and Camellya, with Roccia. So for now the balance os pretty good, the main powercreep is the animations lol
@robertlaidlaw4592 If you are looking for a solid Glacio DPS, you cannot go wrong with Carlotta. She is a nuker and does a ton of damage straight up.
I would highly recommend pulling on her banner.
I got lucky to get her and Zhezhi and they are cracked units. Plus, you can swap in Jinhsi anytime with Zhezhi too.

Jinhsi is not just about her big pp dmg its the absolute crazy extra jump to comfortably execute her rotation with no interruptions unlike others resonators.
But it's not comfortable though. You're waiting for her animations to end. Also her dpr is the lowest out of all of them

@Ethel.thatuser Jinhsi has a longer wind up than Carlotta. Carlotta does overall more straightforward damage than Jinhsi. This also depends on your team as well.
Carlotta is more nuker than damage over time and has a very short time in between doing insane nuke damage as well, especially if you have Zhezhi.

Yes it doesn't matter. At least for "normal" play, you don't even need limited resonators to clear contents. They are just more enjoyable and comfortable to play.
Not even limited to that either. 4 stars are good enough, so seriously just pull for who you like.

Looks like Jinhsi won, but the game couldnt comprehend her killing rider before phase 2 transition and she had to waste time hitting it 1 more time on 0 hp. So its a coding issue and would prob like 2 sec faster than Camellya. Also against a higher level rider you wouldnt be able to reliably on-field Camellya since he nukes you with meteors and attacks more and faster. And Carlotta seems not at close to her max potential build yet (guess you didnt have time to farm a better set for her yet) so still impressive.
@@nobosx0 yeah it's a silly comparison - anything killed in under one rotation without even using the third character or needing any cooldowns to come back up isn't really testing anything relevant.
My impression is that for boss damage, Jinhsi and a fully built Carlotta will be very close, and I'll be interested to see how Roccia with Camellya goes and if that bridges the gap. Xiangli Yao is good but not on the same page as the others.
The other thing will be if Brant brings Changli into the conversation next patch, and where Phoebe will be.
The boss health pool is too low to accurately determine who was doing the most damage per second. We would need 700/800k hp at least
Camelya still tops my dps. I can only imagine when Roccio is out.

Mind you, Xiangli Yao started out as a giveaway character. He easily dethrones Calcharo, and
even go toe-to-toe with likes of Camellya and Jinshi.
The fact that the top 4 dps have literally the same amount of time really tells a lot of the state of the game, there's literally no powercreep at the moment in the game and that's something incredible (I mean, by the first year of HSR there were already a lot of powercreeping, Wuwa is close to its first year)
I like your consistency in creating this content, but for a fair comparison, you should really do it with ToA Hazard bosses and bosses without second phase at that, because they need at least 2 rotations to properly gauge their dps and a real case simulation since ToA is the end game content for now

Should do a raw test with the lingering tunes and exact same stats on all 4 characters with a generic weapon to reduce the impact of variables. (Just boost 1 lingering tunes set then transfer it to the character you're testing)
That is how science is done. Test and control for various factors to make it fair to every character and see which comes out on top with the same gear set.
That can only be done in test servers, otherwise there’d be too many disparities

Sorry for the dumb question 😅 But why did you got 326% Critic rate for Jinshi? Your critic rate given by those monsters is 119%. Plus 150% basic critical rate and 25% given by Shore Keeper. How does it turned out to be 326%? Shouldn't it be 294%? Where did the 32% come from?

1 - Jinshi
Slow to gain forte stacks and 1 nuke per rotation which is not that great no enough dmg to clear 1 rotation, bad targeting need a coordinator attacker to fill up the forte gauge fast best companion would be Zezhei
Dmg numbers are differents from each accounts and world or toa buffs, i my self managed to fet 730k nuke s0r1 in the overdrive zone and 530k against heron lvl100

Buena comparación 🫰🏻, pero es interesante como al ver esto me dio ánimos para probarlo también en mi cuenta comparando la forma en que usaste las habilidades de Jinhsi con el boss infernal vs como las implemente yo con ese mismo, donde termine en 15s, siendo cuestión de dejar hacer el daño al dragón antes de usar el gancho y usar primero su liberación de resonancia antes de tirar las demás habilidades así el daño está adecuadamente repartido.
In my opinion without offending anyone, These comparisons must be made with the characters alone, the buffs that the team gives them are only an addition to improve their damage and not their real damage capacity, so it does not count for this comparison when are with a team
My low investment Changli does more damage than my high investment Carlotta. My Changli doesn't even have her signature weapon either, unlike Carlotta.
Either that or all enemies I fought had high glacio resistance coincidentally, which is unlikely.
As someone with a maxed (other than dupes) Changli to compare Carlotta to, Carlotta is better. I don't know whether it's the mobs or you're playing her wrong but yeah.
There's a trick with jinhsi to 4x her dmg that not many people use,I have learned this yesterday and my lv 60 jinhsi,not so well built does the same dmg as this one in the video(like she's far far from being perfect),but here's the thing,when you use her ultimate,she does not consume forte,but she benefits from it,she get the dmg buff still and when you use her basic atacks to charge her enhanced skill you only get 20 forte per rotation,but her forte stacks up to 50,so instead of using her enahnced skill I skip it and switch character,do this 2 more times and I get 50 forte,then when I use her ultimate it wastes 0 forte and does 3-5x more dmg and her enhanced skill will use all the forte and do 3-4x dmg,for reference,if she does 30k dmg with her enhanced skill,she will do 150k+ with 50 forte
No bro that's not how it works, the ult does't scale on forte. You should use her enhanced skill every time and use coordinated attackers like yanwu to charge her forte

@ I recommend 2 energy 3 costs and an energy weapon for verina, should be enough to get burst reliably
I would also build Yuanwu to like level 50 and use him in your jinhsi team if you don't have another coord attacker (verina works but she won't fully charge jinhsi's forte alone)
Before I got zhezhi I was clearing toa with jinhsi, yuanwu and verina I can recommend it

I recently started playing, what is the better way to get the best echoes? I am having trouble getting crit rate and crit damage stats.
How do you even get them 80/300++ cdm ratio, food buff I guess?

I could potentially get 75/300 if all my crit rate rolls we're not the lowest value possible, every single time. Talk about a rigged stat system

my carlotta is only lvl 40 (havent unlocked thr new area yet) and shes casually destoryijg lvl 70 bosses in under 10 seconds 💀💀💀💀
I have jihnsi, xiangli yao and camellia and right now my most powerfull unit is camellia, the highest dmg I've ever got with her is 600k+ and that's without any buff (such as TOA or any events buff), just pure her and her team
No way bro forget our general Jiyan and the deadly Calcharo and fire queen Changli
They just aren't close to these top 4 dps. Changli might still have a shot in a longer test run. But, Jiyan and Calcharro got 0 chance.
@SashwataKayal-gw9tt bro my Jiyan can delete all the overlord bosses 181k ult total damge with 18k for every hit and the skill can do 19k*4 and I got him S1 in the next 10 pull that's mean 19k*8 with Mortife C6 and Shorkeeper C2 all 100lv bosses got cooked

Jinshi- ea dps mas forte do jogo com o dano instantaneo sendo capaz de arregaçar qualquer boss(o diferencial dela entre os outros eas rotaçao pra preparar a bomba nuclear que deixa ela um pouco atras daqueles que tem dano concreto e duradouro como os outros dps, enquanto a jinshi e ult e acabou carlotta, camellya e xiangli yao continua batendo mesmo depois de ultar).
Carlotta- segunda dps mas quebrada do jogo alem de ter um dano absurdo no carregado ainda tem o dano instantaneo da ult eas balas especiais(dando no total 4 tiros arrancando 80k a 100k por bala eo ultimo tiro que arranca +150k sendo melhor pra boss com muito Hp ou segunda fase, pq a jinshi tem que fazer toda a rotaçao de novo pra encher o fort circuit dela enquanto carlotta ta usando o especial da ult).
Camellya- batendo de frente com jinshi tendo um dano absurdo na habilidade e um dano extrondoso na ult alem dela ser muita rapida batendo enquanto ta girando arrancando 2k a 10k por tapa dela girando colocando ela na frente em situaçoes onde tem muitos mobs ao redor, que diferente da jinshi, carlotta e xiangli yao a camellya nao precisa pegar uma boa posiçao pra tentar acerta todos de uma vez).
Xiangli yao- otimo dps e bem forte por sinal mas e questao de situaçao pq se vc tem camellya, carlotta, jinshi, changli ou jiyan vai preferir montar o time deles e usar eles enves do xiangli, alem de eu achar o jiyan melhor que ele por sinal, sim ele tem uma otima sub dps/suport que e a yinlin mas cair na real uma yinlin bem buildada ta batendo mas que ele namoral(minha yinlin ta com 87% de taxa, 270% de dano crit e ta batendo mas que ele), mas se vc nao tem outro dps e bom usar ele mas aparti do momento que vc pegar outro dps vai esquecer dele na hora a nao ser que seja main dele, e tambem tem aquela barreira de build se vc nao tem assinatura ea yinlin o xiangli yao da menos dano que uma danji c0 namoral e mesmo usando a arma do passe que da taxa critica o boneco ainda fica meio pra traz.
Changli- eu gosto muito dela e por ser mestra da jinshi eu esperava muita coisa, sim ela da muito dano mas ate minha yinlin bate mas que ela deixando ela um pouco pra traz em questao de dano, nao me arrependo de ter pego ela(minha build ta muito boa mas pretendo deixar ela perfeita, pq ver ela nao conseguindo bater +150k e muito triste de se ver).
Jiyan- um dps muito recomendado e tem o melhor controle de grupo do jogo alem de derreter a barra de tenacidade dos inimigos como se fosse agua, eu skipei ele no começo pelo motivo de eu seguir a regra de jogo gacha que e "nao atirar no primeiro banner" e com isso peguei a yinlin ea arma dela e agora que o rerrol dele ja passou eu tentei pegar mas perdi o 50/50 pra verina c2 e peguei a camellya.
OBS: eu so nao tenho 3 armas assinatura e um personagem Limitado que seriam eles- arma do jiyan, arma do xiangli yao ea arma da camellya, eo unico T5 limitado que eu nao tenho eo proprio jiyan,
"Tenho a Jinshi c2 com assinatura 780k e brincadeira de criança pra ela".

My xiangli yao can nuke 300k and now that we have the new nightmare Memphis his rotation became shorter too. Well the nuke is not the only one, with xiangli yao yinlin and shorekepper I can clear most of ToA middle floor in 45 sec the max. I do have his s1 but that is not that much of a boost it only boosts like 100k per rotation (gives extra hyper cube during liberation periods,3 times). So I don't think he is bad at all if any it's jiyan that is actually not to Good like who needs cc when you can just move a bit and gather and hit'em all.I have s1r1 jiyan

Well yeah ur correct jiyan reduces the resonance bar very fast but dmg wise he will be lacking, well u have his signature and not xiangli signature so yeah that will make up for the dmg I guess.. Let me give u a tip thou for jinshi u don't need to have yin lin, u can use yanwu with healing set and use verina with moon light, belive me this team has incredibly fast rotation with huge buff and can full jinshi forte fast(tip when enemy gets out of range use yanwu skinn again) I have tried and confirm that this is better than jinshi yinlin and verina, and pls don't use shorekepper with jinshi, she takes up too much time in rotation if u don't have that concerto passive rectifier at r3+. Verina is faster like if u used well u can swap to jinshi in like 10 sec at the most at which the forte bar will be up by 70%, this is faster and makes up for the sub dps dmg loss letting u use shorekepper and yinlin for other characters. The best team for jinshi thou is jinshi zhezhe verina. This team is fast(less when compared with yanwu but fills bar 100% always and does great dmg, faster than yinlin). This way u can use yinlin with yao and shorekepper is free to use any where else. Just a small tip don't use shorekepper if ur overall rotation will be fast. If u have a subdps who takes a good on field time use shorekepper as I can quickswap else don't, furina is better. Try different team comps than recommended in yt do try quickswap that's what makes wuwa better. U will see the game far more fun to play than hyper carry teams. And let me say xiangli yao has great quick swap gameplay just a little bit behind Changli.

You can argue that Carlotta will be even faster than Camellya after upgrading her talents, but Camellya has Huge AoE, so she's still gonna be the best dps in a lot of scenarios.
How did you get these echo status what method did you use?
I maxed them out at once, but to be honest, I had many tries & fails as well. I just keep on farming…😅

This is just my ritual, but if u have calcharo, use him and sit on the chair up on the mountain while doing it. All of my main characters have double crits (calcharo, yinlin, jinhsi, zhezhi, camellya, sanhua, encore)

camellya the only one I don't have out of these 4. I love her movesets and animation a lot but kinda get annoyed with her hanging position when in skill/ult 😅
Their damage difference can only be measured in high level enemies. On lvl 80 and below, it's just a cakewalk for them all, even the one's not included here

For me its still Jinhsi because that girl CAN WALK ON AIR while casting her skill, its so easy to just ignore enemy's skill and then just nuke them out 😂 Very fun to play, I had her on my team till now
Camellia could have benefited from the new main Echo and took 12% Havok Bonus and 12% Basic Attack. But it was given an echo that does not benefit any character other than the rover literally

aalto can melt anyone if built properly, chixia might also be a good choice

I was lucky to het s2 my current status without shorekeeper crit rate 46.7% crit damage 349.7%

In my account he is the only 5 stars dps that are not able clear the 2nd floor middle tower in new ToA (actually able but barely at very few last second). I did it with the most meta jiyan could have, the comparison i've tried :
-all supported by SK except jinhsi.
-all using signature weapon except jinhsi.
-no changli (i'm broke).
-camellya team use sanhua (maxed talent, 5stars standard wp).
-jinhsi team use yuanwu and verina (no sk? Because she is bad without zhezhi, no zhezhi? Sadly yes).
-xiangli yao team use sanhua (because im bored using yinlin for supporting XY, she is too broken for him lol).
-carlotta team use sanhua (because i don't really like how lumi gameplay, and taoqi slow af, and ofc because i don't have zhezhi as well).
-jiyan team use mortefi (talent maxed, 5stars standard wp)
The result are :
my jiyan need to retry 3x before i got 3 stars with only spare few second, despite he actually got some tower buff here (atk% and aero res-). I think it is because the 3x waves really punishing jiyan that mortefi + sk need more times to build outro compared to verina/yangyang/sanhua, also 2nd waves enemy and the tempest mephis frequently jumped/teleport backward before attacking, so very disadvantage for jiyan here, really need rng luck.
On the other side, carlotta still able to clear with 20ish spare seconds, even without the correct outro buffer, while jinhsi is just literally a living nuclear and the tower buff benefit both of them.
Surprisingly camellya still able to clear with 10ish spare seconds despite the debuff she got in tower (havoc res+).
And for xiangliyao ofc he is not impactful, because all ressist to electro, but surpringly with my greatest crit rng luck, he able to clear it with timer around 2:30ish at the best, despite fighting against electro ressist enemies.
IMO current ToA is the hardest by far, because usually my jinhsi use baizhi instead of verina, and always be able to clear middle tower even without resonance skill buff from tower. But this ToA phase i was not able to clear the 1st floor of middle tower with jinhsi+baizhi even tho i was at the greatest luck of crit and the dmg was at 250k ish per skill. I think this is because they changed the "all atrribute dmg+" to "elemental ressistance +/-", and 2nd floor has 3 waves since last phase of ToA, and i feel like the hp of enemies are increased. Kuro just cooked the end game too serious but i liked it xD

Please take into consideration charlotta is glacio. Glacio has elemental advantage to fusion so its fair camellya is the top dps❤ i ve tried with roccia btw and she added 100k damage omg

Camellya definitely the strongest. Jinshi can nuke but it takes time to go through the whole combo and if you are interrupted then the damage loss is massive. Jinshi has invincibility frames which are good tho. Camellya only gets it on her skill and you might need sequences for that i don’t remember. You could use any dps and beat things really. Wallenstein proved that if you have the skill you will do better than someone who just has the money
