Geneva railway station, formerly known as Geneva Cornavin railway station, is Geneva's main train station, located in the centre of the city. The immediate area surrounding it is known as Cornavin; both names can be used interchangeably.

It's actually very small. Zurich is much bigger. I would follow the signs or ask someone there as people are friendly. Good luck

Good Surprise 🚶Will. Gare Cornavin is where most Genévois starts their routines. TPG is excellent in transportation. Everything is 3-5 mins. I got mugged here at the lobby by two hackers digging my napsack for pincode. I alerted on time and securite acted fast. Don't leave personal belongings unattended and napsack shouldn't hang at the back. Always front. Five stops away by 🚎 10,15 to Place de Nation(UN) or 🚌 20,25 to Jardine Botanique,Perle du Lac,Rue de Lausane and many more parc. 🚶ing towards Musee Ariana just next to Nation. All this places closeby to Nation. Many NGOs located within this area. Jardine Botanique is one favourite parc.
