This is a write up of the standard Dutch opening, for those who prefer reading it (or those who just want to have a quick reference without watching the entire video again though I highly implore you to watch the whole thing first). This opening can be done on land and water. It is quite macro intensive with constantly swapping villagers between resources so may not be to everyone's taste. Card Order: 3 Villagers > 700 Wood > Bank Wagon > 600 Wood. > All villagers except 1 start on Coin crates immediately then onto Coin resources, move your envoy and explorer in roughly the same direction, The 1 villager not on coin starts herding. > Collect only 100 of the wood from the crates, construct a house using that wood. > Get to 12 villagers then ship 3 villagers, transfer everyome from coin onto food. > Age up with Quartermaster politician, and transfer all villagers onto wood. You want to get enough wood to get a bank down (350W, 350F at the time of writing) then transfer all villagers onto Food (until you get enough to get a bank down), followed by all villagers back to coin. Place down your bank. > When you age up, try and ship 700 Wood, Transfer all villagers except 2 (Those 2 should be on Gold) back onto wood/food including the wood and food crates around the TC. > Build a 2nd Bank > Build a Barracks or Stable, a Market and a House using all the spare wood from the Shipment. > Construct another Bank > Send 600 Wood shipment > If you're about to be housed (hit your population cap) don't be afraid to purchase wood to construct houses, you have plenty of gold coming in.

Yeah, Samurai was a guy who played for fun and liked to wildly experiment. Which is why he was able to come up with so many unconventional strategies. What I see as a flaw with this is waiting too long to get a barracks up. If you were rushed by a couple of players your villies would be vulnerable. You need a few skirms or a tower going up faster. No D here in time. Some guys rush fast with calv.
@P.A. Clark late reply sorry, you have minutemen+shipment theyre the most valuable. If opponent goes all in rush cav - time minutemen+shipment+villagers popping in and out of TC. If he rushes all in infantry MM+8xbows+villagers Towers are a waste of resources compared to MM.
