I think its important to note that oda confirmed many times that the One Piece is a physical tresure, something you can use, he even said one time that he hate stories that their ending is ''the real important thing is our friendship''
I used to watch one piece as a kid and the only thing I knew was a rubber boy punching people and a green guy with three swords. I picked up one piece again after the live action and my god the lore is deep and the world building is amazing. One piece now has become my top 3 anime.

Oda already said that the One Piece is not the friendship or some bullshit, he said he hates those kinds of stories. One Piece has such an amazing story and the World Building is a masterpiece.

@@KhunShawn I have no idea but, there is many theories, maybe it’s something that can be used to destroy the Red line so that all the four seas join together that is divided in 2 (One Piece). But I don’t know.

Oda revealed it was a "Physical Entity" so it indeed is not friendship or something like that. My guess is a way to connect all seas as one which would be every pirate's dream. A way to sail the seas unrestricted. Which also aligns with other straw hats' dreams aboard the ship.

Edit: and I mean this only cuz future sight is only a few seconds ahead, which to me that's really only useful for stuff that's happening in the there and now. If it predicted wayy ahead of a longer period of time, oh yea Im spamming that ofc no hesitation
To be able to see a few seconds in the future aka use future sight the user has to remain calm and focus
