Why is she so underrated??? This is beyond me....
I can't understand why she isn't more popular in the US. She is so unique and so powerful, yet we make popular so called "artists" that can't utter a word without auto tune.
When you are a Star like Anastacia if you lose 1% of your Voice, because personally I think it comes naturally, you are considered less popular and less important to a Show Business like US
After all this incredible woman has been through with big health problems and relationship break ups Anastacia powers on! Hope she returns to Ireland!!
She's said it herself: that voice coming out of someone who looks like her is unusual and likely something that America wasn't into. They probably couldn't hang with such a powerful, unique voice coming out of the petite blonde bombshell that is Anastacia. Their loss for sure. Sometimes I wish I had been born in Europe rather than here in America. They seem to be a lot more open-minded over there.
She got like no promotion in America besides a few live show gigs. Her team had trouble marketing her and eventually they let it go.
Thankfully I live in Europe. She was absolutely massive here. And still is actually, which is good, so she gets the recognition she deserves.
No one will ever sound like this woman. Powerful, raw and unique voice.
