Lovely and amazing! Thanks for posting and thanks to Sherrie & Susaye with Joyce for continuing the elegant, tuneful legacy of The Supremes. These are beautiful women with great voices singing wonderful songs. Can we see more of this show, please?
Believe it or not, Joyce was supposed to take Mary Wilson's place in the Supremes but either Motown or Mary did not feel the Supremes should continue without at least one original member. Thus, Scherrie and Susaye made the album "Partners" while Joyce was in limbo until recently.
@@ujimajame4601 Happy New Year. When Mary left the group she passed the torch to Scherrie and Susaye. Both had auditioned many ladies to take Mary's spot including LaToya Jackson but settled on Joyce Vincent, but Motown decided that the Supremes shouldn't continue without any original members. Scherrie and Susaye had also revealed that they was going to link up with Syretta Wright and form a group titled S.S.S but Syretta scored the hit with Billy Preston.
These ladies have it. Their sound is much better. Finally have a soprano again. Lynda lost her range I think. Susaye is better than ever. She still has her range, and her voice is more full.
They REALLY outdid and shamed their bitter critics who thought otherwise because as I said to other RUclips bloggers earlier that it was about 'teamwork' (even when Mary Wilson bridged the gap keeping it together): 🎼🎶🎤👍👍👍
KILLING IT! Just like in 1976 :)

Yep....a soprano was needed....band could be fuller in sound with brass...sounds too hollow.
