CURRENCY REGULATIONS
☛ A person may import or export, or bring with him into or take out of the country
legal tender Philippine notes and coins, checks, money order and other bills of
exchange drawn in pesos in amount not exceeding PHP 50,000 without prior
authorization by the Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas (BSP). Amounts in excess of
said limit shall require prior written authorization from the BSP.

Yes, maari naman kasi need mo ito for medication mo. Ito ba ay tablet or meron pa dito na liquid. If liquid must be nasa resealable plastic. at 100 ml or less lang.

For PAL, one piece lang ang allowed for hand carry. Ang pwede lang na additional on top of your hand carry allowance is any of the following:
- a small handbag
- pocket book or purse
- an overcoat, wrap or blanket
- a small camera or binoculars
- laptop with case
- a reasonable amount of reading material
- duty free bag
- infant's food for consumption in flight
- pair of crutches and/or braces, walking stick and other prosthetic device for the passenger's use provided that the passenger is dependent upon them

Yes, fruits are allowed in checked baggage in Cebu Pacific (5J) flights, as long as they're properly packed. Note that for Cebgo (DG) flights, there may be restrictions on some types of fruits due to its foul smell (i.e., durian). Note that this is only applicable to domestic flights. All fruits are NOT allowed in international flights.
Frozen Raw Food:
Yes, you can bring frozen raw meat in your checked baggage, as long as it is packed properly and sealed to avoid spillage and emission of odors. Please also consider the following guidelines:
- Frozen food must be allowed by the local government unit of your origin and destination. There are some airport stations that do not allow pork, fruits, chicken, etc.
- Some cooling agents / refrigerants may be considered as Dangerous Goods which may be allowed in limited quantities.
- There are also restrictions on the type of food, especially for those producing foul smell (i.e., durian, etc.).
Note that there may be additional restrictions and/or requirements for bringing food in international flights. Please check your destination's rules before departure. For example, Australia and South Korea do not allow any frozen meat into their countries.

Usually it is part of the check-in baggage at dapat may hard case para hindi masira.
Tama hindi pwede ihand carry ito.
If 2 pcs naman ang baggage allowance mo for check-in, maari naman maging part ang gitara dito. Basta within the baggage allowance pa din.
Sa PAL, eto and ang provision nila sa gitara "Guitars cannot fit in the overhead compartment of the aircraft or under the passenger seats. To ensure accommodation on flight, all guitars shall be accepted only as check-in baggage whether contained in a hard or soft case. Musical instruments shall be free of charge if within the free baggage allowance of the passenger and within 39inches (100cm) in length."

For Philippine Airlines, Vancouver to Manila, usually depende ito sa flight class na pinili mo. Usually 2pcs with 23kg, 25kg, or 32kg each. For extra baggage naman usually CAD 200.
Magkaiba ang free baggage allowance for international flight at domestic flight.
For domestic flights, usually it ranges from no free baggage allowance up to 35kg depende sa flight class na pipiliin mo.

Can you check ulit if 20kg talaga ang iyong baggage allowance? Upon checking kasi sa PAL website, Dubai to Manila is 23kg for economy flight, 25kg for premium economy & 32kg for business class. You can check it sa iyong ticket o kaya naman ay dito: www.philippineairlines.com/manage-booking
Pero to answer your question, kung 20kg ang iyong baggage allowance, depende sa iyo kasi pwede mong bayaran yung excess kilo, pwede din naman na magbawas ka na lang ng gamit.
To help you decide, narito ang extra baggage fee ng Philippine Airlines from Dubai to Philippines:
- Additional baggage (1 piece) = AED 590
- Overweight (23.1kg - 32kg); Oversized (63in - 80in) = AED 590

Kung ang baggage allowance mo is 2pcs at 23kg each, usually okay lang naman kung hindi sakto sa 23kg ang baggage mo sa 23kg as long as within the total baggage allowance mo which is 46kg. Per baggage hindi rin dapat mag-eexceed sa maximum total na 32kg.

It will depend upon the international airlines.
Meron ilang airlines they allow passengers to purchase in advance an additional prepaid baggage (mostly discounted ito) instead magbayad sa airport ng mahal na excess baggage fee.
Wala pa ako tutorial as of now about this topic for international flight. Domestic flight pa lang. Let us see in the near future.
Meantime, if malapit na alis mo, i suggest kindly check with your airlines. So you will know in time sa flight mo.

HI @@christineauditor9557 , I understand. Some airlines do sometimes give a minimal consideration sa excess baggage pero naghigpit masyado during the pandemic crisis. Medyo mas mahigpit sa Cebu Pacific kasi budget airlines sila, I cannot guarantee kung ilan ang maari nila ibigay ng consideration or too strict sila at hindi magbibigay ng consideration ng extra lbs or a kilo to any excess baggage from the free baggage allowance.
If may free space sa hand carry mo,maari mo ilipat yun ibang gmit mo na sa tingin mo mag eexceed sa check-in luggage weight.

If may 10 Kg ka na baggage allowance pero ang madadala mo na baggage ay less than 10 kg, ok naman yun.
Pero if more than 10KG ang bigat ng dala mo at ang free baggage allowance mo ay 10kg lang, then that is the time you will need to pay extra.

Fruits:
Yes, fruits are allowed in checked baggage in Cebu Pacific (5J) flights, as long as they're properly packed. Note that for Cebgo (DG) flights, there may be restrictions on some types of fruits due to its foul smell (i.e., durian). Note that this is only applicable to domestic flights. All fruits are NOT allowed in international flights.
Frozen Raw Food:
Yes, you can bring frozen raw meat in your checked baggage, as long as it is packed properly and sealed to avoid spillage and emission of odors. Please also consider the following guidelines:
- Frozen food must be allowed by the local government unit of your origin and destination. There are some airport stations that do not allow pork, fruits, chicken, etc.
- Some cooling agents / refrigerants may be considered as Dangerous Goods which may be allowed in limited quantities.
- There are also restrictions on the type of food, especially for those producing foul smell (i.e., durian, etc.).
Note that there may be additional restrictions and/or requirements for bringing food in international flights. Please check your destination's rules before departure. For example, Australia and South Korea do not allow any frozen meat into their countries.
