I am a Mayako member and run the new ebuggy. Being a new driver, my lack success is related to my lack of driving skill, not the car. The car offers more adjustments than I can take advantage of at my skill level. With that said, the setup out of the box is very forgiving and easy to drive. The membership pays for itself if you purchase two kits (a truggy is in the works) and offers direct interaction with professional drivers, designers, and members. I have had other brands, none of them offer this level of support. After watching JQ on RUclips for the last several years, I decided to join. I don't see anyone offer as much free information in the attempt to make my racing experience better. He has helped me understand more about setup and the science behind it, so I decided to support him.
Man I've been wanting one to try out, I cant help but love the way they look. Thanks for sharing your experience. Always straight to the point and no bs.
Been running the kit since 21/22 the ebuggy is amazing. And the nitro kit has come along way. Its getting easier and easier to drive. I crash heaps, this car is strong 💯
I am also a mayako member. Im close to a little over a year and a half into ownership of the car. Recently, i went discord to have a setup discussion. On a Sunday, two drivers (with mayako) that are very involved with the discord message me and have a video conference with me for about 45 minutes. Answering all my questions and advised me what to try with my local tracks characteristics. Where else do you get that kind of service? I know some may of been hurt in the past but it looks to me they have made major strides trying to give something different than everyone else in such a crowded market.
They made a wise decision investing in you. Myself and a lot of other people are far more likely to choose a particular kit based on what you have to say instead of picking whatever kit the fastest pro guy is using!
I like This buggy but i live in europe and the problem it the Spare parts and the other problem is the portugueses🇵🇹 costums🤔 beacuse is outside of european union🇪🇺😕
As one of the Pre-order victims, and first batch of prototype cars, I would say, once bitten twice shy. I ran JQ products for a while, and I still hope the brand does well, but you certainly don't get ANY tangible benefits from being a member, or the Mayako brand. I could just be salty from being a cash cow for the early development, but personally received very little from the experience, other than lightening my wallet.
Mayako is not for everyone. You may have been a victim of making a bad choice for yourself. The membership is meant for people who like tinkering and figuring things out, and being a part of the behind the scenes work of a brand. This was especially apparent during the first year when it was members only. If that’s not your thing, instead of shitting on the brand, make better choices for yourself.
Another great review, thanks! Looking forward to learning more about your Mayako experience.
Thanks man 😊

Absolutely brilliant car. Keeps getting better and better. No other car on the market can match it for adjustability and back up support.
Cade!!! Coming up in rc world! Awesome you deserve it bro!!!🤘🤘

Great review.
What diffs did you run , did you try setup changes yet ? Shock oils ? Pistons , give us the juicey deets
Needs some better lighting for these closeup shots, it`s super dark. Might also include some photos from the build or something?
Would be nice to try the nemo N1E with the new VRP v2 kit
Any comparisons on what other brand it might drive like ?
Hard to say, I'd say it drives like a better sorted HB mixed with Kyosho
hmmm, never heard of this brand, but looks like a good buggy.

I agree 👍
do you get to keep the car?
For now
Is Mayako made in Taiwan?
Ye
I was torn between this and sparko f8e hmmmm
The Sparko has a ton of corner speed and very fast on 180’s . Naturally a faster buggy then the mayako.
@@MrJz97ss thanks mate, my LHS said they have a promotion, free 2 hopups for a purchase of sparko buggy, was thinking migrating from sworkz to sparko
@@MrJz97ssno it is not.
@@invisiblespeedrc it was for me but everyone has their own driving style.
@@MrJz97ss a car being naturally faster has nothing to do with driving style.
Corrupted footage damn that sucks

There is a Mayako shop in EU, as well as 36mood, also in Europe.
@@invisiblespeedrc ok but i dont know the contry?🤔

You were given a car and not a check. Ah, ok.

Any insight on when they will be releasing the truggy versions? Keep pushing forward brother. Highly appreciated and insightful RC channel. 🤙🏼
I know the truggy is in the pre prototype phase where they're running different brand arms and such so it's probably a little while off.
You Dont sound very excited about it
I'm not as good at being on camera :/
mmmmmmmmmmmm nope lol

Imagine having to pay for a membership to get product support and develop said product for them 😂
@@travb1871 Tell us you have no idea without telling us you have no idea.
@@travb1871 this works as an IQ test simultaneously. This is why Mayako launched with the slogan, Mayako is not for everyone.
🤣thats a hard no. NOTHING about this seems appealing.
La sparko F8E è migliore.
Lol
