Michael Lapalme I don't know if that was a stutter in his speaking, but after reading your comment I choose to believe it was the Remembrancer choking on the word "Istvaan". Genius indeed!

There are a lot of great lore channels out there that I love. Your presentation has become fast favourite! Wonderful style, and full of juicy nuggets that I've either never heard before or put into a fresh context. If you'd ever consider a patreon to help you keep going... Well, you could count on some credits from me.
The battles such as the battle for Lysithea, are they why the Emperor decided to use Exterminatus in future conflicts? Enemies so threatening that they just simply need to wipe out the whole planet?
I would imagine it was always an option, but that the idea of using exterminatus within the Solar volume was too heinous of the Imperium to comprehend. The exception would be for artificial constructs, like the xenos war-moon Sedna.
More awesome stuff...youre good. Shit, I remember subbing when your channel was new! (And after your 1st couple posts; I knew you'd be around for a long long time...so happy to be right!)

quality : unmatched. content: mismatched. Unlike previous expositions, i found myself confused, is it the legacy of the raven guard, or its undeniably involved chapter master who's history unfolds. interwoven as their history might be, the records of mankind surely differentiate. Each occasion of individual merit plays enomous parts in the grand theatre of war that is upon us. It would be a shame to cut it slight. On a sidenote, i'm having difficulty following the theme of the "episode", even though i am not a native english speaker, i pride myself on understanding the many verbose swerves the english language might assume. Yet i'm having significantly more trouble understanding what is being said, and what is being meant. I applaud your usage of the language tenfold, yet wonder if less would not be more. Complicated language is not a merit upon itself, it is the ability of such a language to express itself in ways others cannot. I love your episodes, to the extent that i save them for cloudy days. I do not wish to be demanding, i only wish to provide information from a different point of view. know then, that there are no equals. must be hard doing something for the first time :)
Sorry you're having a bit of trouble following! I know many of my subscribers come from non-English backgrounds, and it absolutely humbles me to know that I'm reaching people worldwide. I'll attempt to make the language a bit plainer, as much as the setting and role can allow for, in future records :)

@@MrJedimedic I think given the way he says the word "Him" when talking about the Emperor I don't think it would be a mistake.
You know, I kinda find it funny thinking of a 8 to 10 foot tall power armored grey Superhuman trying to be stealthy.
They aren't even purple
Well he can erase his presence from other's minds, so that helps.
What's more terrifying; the 8-foot tall superhuman you can see and hear, or the 8-foot tall superhuman you know you can't?
sure you cant see him, but you can sure as hell hear him (I don't see mufflers on the exhaust ports.
Corax doesn't work that way, as I said, he can erase his presence from mind of the enemies and basically other sentients, that's his wraith-slip.

*gasp*
"..had to teach him."

Imagine how good Konrad Curze would have been if he had a proper upbringing. He'd be like the real Batman and not a murderous psycho.
So constantly letting murderous orks and others get away because he wouldn’t kill them?

Amazing as always, you made regular lore become something much greater
Favourite channel on RUclips, and it’s not even close.
I’ll say it every time, Oculus’ work is the best 40k multimedia in human history.
Once again you prove to be probably the best lore reader of 40k on YoutTube.
I’m sorry not lore reader, you do much more than just read it, you bring it to life.
I really like hearing where on Terra the legions had come from. Keep it going!
hell yea! this guy is a gift.
Quoth the Raven, “Never more!”
The only channel I watch which gets a like before I've even watched the video.
Superb, as ever sir.
I absolutely love this channel. Excellent presentation as always, made even better by the subject matter being my favorite of the Legiones Astartes.
Another amazing job I have been waiting for this!

Like to see one on the XIV legion death guard.
Keep up the good work

Wonderful channel, keep them coming!!
BEST WH40K Lore YT channel. according to your info & voice given.
Corax is absolutely the most based Primarch. He’s all about worker’s rights and dismantling capitalism.
The 10 ft superhuman who is an imperialist general of an autocratic fascist ruler is a socialist. Makes total sense. Right.
He's a hypocrite and a liar.
AND a simp for the Emperor.

All the audio, yes. Probably not the best way to do it but it gives it a nice lecture feel.

What is said at 14.29? I can't quite make it out.
Sidereal, referring to Sidereal Time.
Was Horus corrupted already at the time he ordered the Raven Guard to assault Gate 42?
