Basic pressure point tactics. By monitoring the enemies strength along the lines, in areas where the enemy are stronger you will see tactical withdrawals, and in areas where the enemy is weak you will see small advances.
It's a slow game but Russia has successfully forced Ukraine/NATO to play by their rules. Which means it's not a matter of if, but when Russia achieves its goals.
If they can make it there, they can make it everywhere

as ukraine starts to run low on personnel, we have seen several cases where russians could advance 3-4km in one day, this was not possible in 2023. early this year i predicted that ukraine army will start to partially collapse by Q3 this year, we have just entered july and seems like things are right now track. but by collapse i mean a much reduced capability, the melt down will come later and we need more information to predict when will that happen.
although the russians have picked up the pace, but the speed of breakthrough is not fast enough, or, the breakthrough are mostly local breakthrough, opening up the path to a bigger battle. new york and toretsk are interesting. it is possible that the russians will breakthrough here to directly assault kostiantynivka, with forces attacking from the east from chasiv yar and forces in the ocheretyne front cutting off the main road between pokrovsk and kostiantynivka while pushing towards pokrovsk itself. given kostiantynivka is in the low land and chasiv yar is on the high ground, once chasiv yar fall, the pressure on kostiantynivka will be huge. ukraine wont give it up and they will once again commit a lot of their troops to it. after kostiantynivka fall, i believe that the ukraine army would be on its last leg, the troops will be too inexperienced, too poorly equipped and moral will be so low that, majority of the units will no longer be combat worthy. it will be like the battle of waterloo, a lot of people do not know, after the battle of waterloo, there are still many battles until the final defeat of france, but all their main force were destroyed and defeated in waterloo, the fate of france was already decided in that battle, and we are approaching that moment in the ukraine war. after that, it is just a formality and see how many land russia can capture before ukraine's surrender.

True, russia could, even though they had to give up huge land, retreated in 2022 so safe manpower. Ukraine isnt doing that so they re defending every inch which affects their manpower.
Ukr Waterloo was Bakhmut and Avdivika was their Stalingrad. Nu York is their Kurlan pocket.
Nu York, Bahkmut and Avdivika were three of the most heavily fortified places on earth

@Zraihan98 At Day 1 they only in Donbas had almost 250 thousands forces and month later already had almost 1 million. While Rus sent just 120k with order which denied to use widely fire (if you forgot, all forces which Rus captured at that days, it sent back to UA, after they gave promise not to fight in future 😂). Some kind of ultra-light police operation.

since i was young i wanted to combine my drawings with true colors,

i draw rough and hard on it and after that, i put several layers of Gesso on it, without destroying the underdrawing.
