This is one of those maps where the only way you can do any sort of proper walling(as Terran anyway) is to use Marines/SCVs to pull a hole, and that has always bothered me. I'd much rather just have a basic wall(not that I can wall to save my life but still)
Like to see fantasy play, even this is the second time watching him play, like his style of building Valkyrie in early game. The key to win this game is faster expansion in bases, give some vulture pressure to the Zerg player from time to time and lowering their income.
So back in the day Fantasy was known for his valkyrie openers against zerg. This was well before remastered came out so valkyries were weaker then. I really would love to see terran use valks more vs zerg now that the remastered kind of buffed them. Let's see what happens in this game as I'm still in the early game.
Zerg was too good. Any time you can pick off valks with muta micro, then kill tanks with glaives you win. The problem with transition to mech is it's too slow. You can't get your army size up before any number of bad things happen to you, including drops in your main. Maybe it's just these replays but I'm not seeing anything from Fantasy that puts him as a top 10 or even top 50 player.

There is no doubt that Zergs have advanced their early game techniques due to all the hard work that Terry has put in scouting opponents build orders.

TvZ mech transition lost its popularity when Larva refuted it. Fantasy needs to accept this fact and move on from it.
Kind of reminds me how another legend (Bisu) continues to use Arbiters while most modern Protoss players now use reavers and storm

The only thing worse than trying to fight late game Zerg with Bio is doing it with Mech.

Yeah it wasn't the mech that failed this game, it was the valk control. He was doing so poorly with them he may as well have just went goliaths.
