The first time I saw this video, I was wowed! I love her madly, and thought this cover was really inspired. I agree, about the J.Cole collaboration! Brilliant it would be. Faouzia showed some grit herself here, minus the profanity, :-) And she had some flow goin' on. They'd kill it together! She definitely killed this one!
So, her original was uploaded 3 years ago meaning she was about 18yrs old in the video, but for the reason she didn’t swear is because she doesn’t swear. It’s her upbringing and respect to family, which is pretty awesome as you don’t see that in today’s society, it’s a ‘go with the flow’ attitude and she bucks that by not bending. Which, is really funny to think that a ‘clean’ version is a ‘rebellious’ thing. 🤔 Awesome reaction, even had a jump scare 😆 that naughty ice machine!
Faouzia is not just a phenomenally talented vocalist, songwriter and all round musician. She’s intelligent, graceful, beautiful and has attitude/sassy. What a role model for the future generation of today. Great reaction

She is featured on French rapper Ninho’s 2019 song “Money”. It hit # 12 on the French charts. A collab between Faouzia and J.Cole could be very interesting. They were both born overseas and moved to N.America as kids, studied computers in Uni, and are killer smart and talented. Faouzia IS a middle child, whereas J is not. 😂
I keep coming back. 🙂 I hope you'll check out Faouzia's "stripped" version of her song "Bad Dreams". It's just her at a piano, exorcing demons. There's a part, at the beginning of the second chorus, where I swear, she's howling at the moon. It's bone-chilling.
