Glad to see you on the RUclips's, Dirt Head Dave! Please remember to wear proper respiration protection while working with fiberglass and fillers! We want you around for a while!
I'm happy you started your own RUclips I've been waiting for this. As much as I love Dirt Every Day there isn't enough time in an episode to really enjoy the things you build or fabricate.
Love that you started your own channel on the Tubes! One thing…please consider wearing a mask around that body work. Those fibers and the dust will kill you.
@@thedirtheadshed BRO... I WATCHED EVERY SECOND. I'm trying to tell you to NOT stress about the edit. Just keep showing this dude I'm honored to call a friend in any format and zillions of people will continue to watch and be happy. I ain't goin nowhere... 👏Just you wait... people will be coming... and your skills in the edit will happen when they need to.
I've been a fan of Dirt Everyday since it started and have always wanted to see more time spent the detail and fab work you do, so this is perfect for me. Maybe I'm odd but I actually like the current editing quality just fine, I can see what your doing, understand what your saying, and it really feels like just hanging out with you in the shed. Keep doing what your doing man! Just started building my 2000 XJ so always looking for more how to content.
People watch you for your raw talent and knowledge. The video production quality is the LAST thing us true fans care about! Thanks for giving us more content! 👌👌
Sure gonna miss DED you guys were the only reason I bought Motortrend. Thanks for all the laughs and encouraging people to get outdoors. Keep up the great work Dave! Looking forward to see more from your channel!
Thank You For making your Videos the way you do. My Son is 7 and believes you are his friend, I hope he gets to meet you. We have watched you on other shows in the past this "All Dave TV all The Time" haha!
I miss you and Fred eating Pie. I'm so happy you have your channel... you're a super talented fabricator, you're fun to learn from, and quite frankly you are way too cool. I can't wait to learn about your lowrider. Congratulations sir
I love Mom’s Spaghetti. Such a bad add bullnose. My first truck was a 1988 bullnose 2wd F150 shortbed single cab with the 4.9L straight six and 4 on the floor. Loved that truck. Thank you for the awesome content and ideas. I really want to build my own now.
Ok, I can already tell this is gonna be one of my favorite channels!! I've been a fan of DED since the start, so I'm super pumped that you started your own channel! This video was very informative, thanks for sharing!!
Nice work Dave! I say don't worry too much about the production polish just yet, you're doing great in front of the camera and doing a solid job of explaining what you're doing. If I had to recommend one thing, maybe cut or lower the music when you're talking, and in bits like the wheeling footage at the end. But it's not a big deal really.
DAVE GOT A RUclips CHANNEL!!! HOORAH!!! Please continue to razzle and dazzle with your fab skills and knowledge, look forward to learning more from you!
From a former SeveredTies member.. Seeing you as a NC member, cool to see someone else into bagged trucks & offroad like myself. Loving all the air ride integration into the builds.
Nice to see you on your RUclips spot quick tip I’m sure you know but fiberglass dust or any bondo dust bad very bad for lungs. I did body work and paint for over 14 years till an injury took me out . Stay alive keep breathing and I will keep watching. Dandy Dan the body man.
Dave, I have been a fan of DED but like other have mentioned I have always wanted more of your fabrication skills shown. Happily watching all of your content, don't worry about the the production stuff so much, you will find your groove. The music was either loud or off from the work you were doing. But either way, no complaints. Glad to see you work.
Australian fan here, watched all the Dirt every day content from day 1 - untili MotorTrend removed Australia's access! So happy to see stuff on youtube! Great work.
Feels likes the old Dirt Everyday Extras that gave us technical knowledge. Appreciate these! I used to watch all of the Mom's Speghetti Extras and couldn't wait to see more. That was the biggest upset with the cancellation of Extras for me. Loved the Instagram updates and keep up the work!
@@thedirtheadshed That would be amazing. Love learning about Mom's Speghetti and MazGrande. Those tips and the reference to the Air Suspension Design book were awesome. I really wanna build something like those one day.
Best of luck building up your channel Dave. Most people won't be too fussy about the videography as we are here for the awesome 4x4 content. Keep it up!
I’ve been waiting over a year for you to start a RUclips channel it’s awesome! Dirt every Day is pretty much the only reason I keep my motor trend app subscription
Love seeing Mom's Spaghetti! I built my YJ based off the junkyard YJ you guys did on DED. When I destroyed the early bronco transfer case behind the LS, I took the good stuff off of it (Super duty axles and 40s) and put them under an 86 Bronco that I also swapped an LS into. You and Fred have been an inspiration to me and i'm glad we can keep up with you off the show now! Keep up the awesome work!
Pretty stoked I found your RUclips channel. Never saw a fiberglass step side before. Ranks up there with your Mazda build. Watching your channel and work makes me want to take on a new project since my 98 TJ is almost done. May have to piss off my wife and find an old Ford Ranger with an extra cab and install some Dana 60’s and a small block. Yep, that would really piss her off. Oh well. Better to beg for forgiveness. Thanks for showing some glassing skills and I’m looking forward to learning more. Enjoy your build! It’s going to be sweet when you’re done with it…
I was just watching Fred and started wondering if you had a channel, then bam!!!! Shows up on my homepage. So when do you guys wanna come down to Missouri and fix the rust holes in my XJ and maybe make it run for more than 3 hours at a time? 😁
Perfection is the enemy of progress, just work on cranking out content and get up to 100k subscribers where RUclips monetization makes sense for you to develop content. The rough edges on yours and Fred’s junk is awesome, keep driving forward! Dirt everyday was my favorite show on MT, the most creative show on there. You and Fred’s channels will carry on that spot for me. It would be great to see some classic truck content. How about taking a surplus deuce and bobbing it, and putting on huge tires? Or a 40’s studebaker trail rig? Sometimes unique projects are what get noticed and cause RUclips viewership to climb quickly. Awesome job Dave!
I absolutely love it Dave! Not only have you inspired me to challenge and grow my fabrication skills, I’m also now obsessed with suspension design and am itching to bag my fj40 and 2wd Toyota Pickup, both for very different reasons. Love the content and keep on killing it man!
Doing great Dave it feels like your taking right to me as you teach us how to do this kinda patch! Keep it up and when you get merch let us know would love to rock a dirt head Dave hat or shirt out on the trails!
I’m really looking forward to watching more of your content. I’ve enjoyed seeing you on DED since you were a guest star and love seeing my old stomping grounds. I lived in a small town northeast of Spokane for a while and love it there.
Glad to see you on the RUclips's, Dirt Head Dave! Please remember to wear proper respiration protection while working with fiberglass and fillers! We want you around for a while!
YES ! SUBSCRIBED!!!!! love Fred AND Dave !
I’m glad that the BEST Dave Chapelle has his own RUclips channel now. He’s almost as funny but way more skilled at building cars.
I’m number 2 , I’m number 2!!!
Whoa, whoa, whoa…. Let’s just agree they are both amazing :)
Imma a fan of all Dave Chappelle's I've seen or met so far in life lol
can take a slap better aswell
I love this truck.
Thanks!! Need to hit some trails soon
I'm happy you started your own RUclips I've been waiting for this. As much as I love Dirt Every Day there isn't enough time in an episode to really enjoy the things you build or fabricate.
Thanks for checking it out. I look forward to getting more in depth on the fabrication process
Yes this is why MotorTrend went off the rails cancelling Extras.
Love that you started your own channel on the Tubes! One thing…please consider wearing a mask around that body work. Those fibers and the dust will kill you.
The scooter in the opening is fantastic! All
I can think about is Zoolander! I will be watching these videos as soon as they drop.
Don't tell Fred, but you are the reason I watch dirt every day. So happy that you started your own channel.
Mums the word
Dude, just keep doin exactly this. Yeah-buddy!
It’s put together so bad! But there is some good info in there…. Please don’t bail out yet Jason

@@thedirtheadshed That would be great if you did that. I'm currently building a XJ and I'm looking at different options for the cage
Fiberglass is amazing in what it allows you to do. It’s also amazing how itchy it makes you no matter what.
Yeah. I try to work with it as seldom as possible
Hey Dave, glad to see you on RUclips! Just wanted to say "can't wait to see what's next".
Thanks for being there!
Thanks for the support
I love this truck, it reminds me of the Tamiya Blackfoot I wanted as a kid.
That’s the look I was going for. Had one as a kid
So glad you got that truck driving. Been waiting for two years for you to finish it.
Yeah! I had a rough start with it. I’m stoked to be driving it now
Good to see you again Dave. Thanks for sharing your knowledge with us.

Not done yet

I was super tired of working on editing and threw the music on at the last minute. Need to figure out how to fade it in and out. Major learning curve

Thanks. I’m gonna keep ‘em simple. But the editing and sound should get better with time

Love this truck and the MazGrande. I'm sure everyone would love it if you did a Q&A video in the future too.
That’s in the works
Cant wait for the fab videos!! Congrats on the new channel!!
Thanks
Tj whole truck is super cool. I love the front bumper. Using the stock one and making it awesome… very creative.
