There's just so much with lighting and direction that I took for granted and never considered before. This was a real education!

tysm im going y10 this year do u have any advice for me because i am really nervous and not too good with english essays esspecially planning making a start to it and notes

    • @cow167

Im in year 10 as well right now and I'm pretty nervous, but I think the best thing to do is do as much research beforehand, see how other people wrote their essays online and practice. Also, don't be afraid to ask people to proofread your work, especially for grammatical errors and things like that which can help bump up your grade. If you know what your essay is about, write some points you want to include beforehand so you have some basis, and so you know exactly what you are going to write, and look for good synonyms to improve your vocabulary. If you don't know what your essay is going to be about, just try reading analysises on the book, and make sure you understand fully what it is about, so writing an essay shouldn't be too hard. Also, pay attention to the AO's, because I feel like those are helpful as well so you know what you are doing.
However, I haven't done any essays in year 10 so far so this advice isn't 100% correct, but good luck!!

    Hi Zoe,
What do you use to edit your youtube videos?

Hi Bailey I use multiple applications and get some bespoke items designed which I put in. You'll see it says 'Camtasia' on it which is great but you need to take lots of time to learn video editing and I'd NEVER advise this to anyone already studying GCSE exams. It is rewarding though - I enjoy video editing 😊
