I love how our paths are so similar haha I remember when I was working in hospitality and someone said “oh I didn’t know you’re working part-time” when I told them “I only work about 35-40 hours a week because I study” 😅 It is definitely a lot of hard work and dedication to change career paths, especially into tech! I’ve never done a bootcamp, but certifications (AWS, Azure, or even CompTIA) are definitely a plus too when trying to apply I think.
Hospitality in London is definitely a scam ahah. Certification are super useful yh!! Even later in the career, some companies like seeing someone studying
