I have an important question to ask you. Do you think stress relief of benzodiazepines helps you stay in remission and cancer free? That can be worse than the withdraws of the medication, however you've been secretly rocking your gaba receptors for years np. If you're going to stop I suggest you 'actually' do. Take bloodpressure medication and take stuff they suggest like Mirtazapine while combining it with Benadryl for a mild sedating effect you might really be needing, an occasional dose of Seroquel on top of that. You need a psychiatrist who is truly taking interest in you. Help end the akathisia and restlessness. You've been a trooper surviving all of this and cancer.
You've had a long really tough struggle! I'm sorry.

Demi Moore is a gorgeous woman, i loved her in "G.I. Jane" ❤
Sadly like most beautiful actresses, she was quickly catalogued as a Diva in the Hollywood movie madness and her career definitely took a serious downturn because of it.
Another heavy share about addiction ❤
Enjoy your week and please take care my brother ❤

What happens if you just let the anxiety creep up and feel it? Won't it eventually just go away? I had bad panic attacks and I know how much those suck but they go away if you wait it out.

Yes, but when you work in a fast paced environment. It's hard to find time to calm down.

jeez this sounds like a really tough situation, given the dosage you're at (unsure of your duration of use but that is also a major factor). defo try and get more info from the detox centre as to their methods. how much time have you booked off work/are you gonna be in the centre? from my reading detox centres tend to go way too fast.
I really don't see why a benzo 'specialist' wouldn't work with the patient to slowly taper over a longer period of time at a rate they feel capable of doing so - with as little disruption to their every day life as possible - instead ordering them to rapidly taper/cold turkey on a bed in a state of torture with greater risk to long term CNS health.
seriously I can't imagine the pain of cold turkeying from 6mg of xanax >_> this makes me really angry. wishing you the best outcome..

Because I am super anxious without the xanax, its like the perfect medication for me, if the withdrawals didnt have chance to kill me, id keep doing them.
