It's so rare to find a no-nonsense, no 30 minute intro and explanation, just a straight forward, well lit, good audio, easy to follow instructions. Absolutely well done.
When I tell you, you are a god send for making such a perfect video!! I am 24 yr old female and 2 auto places quoted me for $330 just to replace my driver mirror and doing my own research the mirror only cost $40 and the tool kit I got from Ross for $8.99!! I fixed it in around 45 min which went by really fast. I saved so much money just cause this video is perfection. Thank you so much!!!! If I can do it on my own, anyone can!
Thanks so much TRQ!! Just replaced my mirror assembly (found at a wrecker) with your concise instructions and it went well. Tried a few body shops first and they weren’t even interested. Please keep up the great work. So grateful.
Thank you so much! I replaced the mirror in about 20 minutes. My idiot horse has broken it twice now by trying to stand in the carport. First time I took it to the dealership and it cost $$$. This time with your video I did it myself and the only cost was the cost of the mirror. Your video was clear, concise and showed exactly how to proceed, which bolts to remove first, etc.
Thank you thank you thank you!! I recently broke my mirror off by hitting it on my house (since I have a very narrow driveway) while backing up and didn't have the money to get it professionally fixed plus I didn't want to pay for the overpriced amount of the labor/new mirror. This was so direct and easy to follow and helped me replace my mirror with a replacement I bought off of Ebay. You def have a new subscriber just to show my gratitude. ONLY DOWNSIDE is that i wish you would have shown the front side of the mirror when you had taken it off the door so I could see if the foam left on belonged or not, but I just guessed, and all went well.
Good video, I knew how to remove door panel, switches and such, But was here to see how the mirror trim section attaches to new mirror. You did not remove the white trim from the old one.
Thank you for sharing very clear cut ....will give it a go for on the passenger side rear view mirror also do you have any videos on taking off the center console side panel the lighter slide down in there because the plastic ring that keeps in place broke
Hey, I did this with the mirror from you guys but I get a blind spot system error, I got another replacement and the same issue, does it also need to be programmed or something?
I noticed the new mirror is different. The previous mirror was painted and the new mirror a black plastic exterior. Is there a way to preserve the painted mirror housing.
Next time you should list the size of the Torks Head Screws & what size Socket you used. Most folks usually need to know that. I always assume that people don't already own a Torx Bit Set, or a 1/4'', or a 3/8'' Socket Set...
Yes it is. I recommend buying a used mirror from a salvage yard. Google used car parts, and you’ll see a bunch of junk yards with them in stock. Wayyy cheaper. Only caveat - they usually only take phone orders and are open only during banking hours. Good luck!
It's just a little plastic piece that has clips that hold on to the actual mirror frame itself. The same part busted off of mine and I'm getting a replacement piece from a junkyard just to snap on to it. you can paint it if you want, but they do come off.
The cover on the replacement rear view mirror is black not white like the original. I just did this repair not realizing the original would not fit on the new mirror housing. Getting one from ford or the junk yard would be best however removing the painted cover without damaging the mirror is difficult. I bought mine from Dorman there was no mention. Of the covers not fitting. Good luck. Video was good but this is an important thing to know before you replace

Had to replace my door handle and now my mirror. Thanks for reminding me where everything is! This video is super helpful and short.
Did this is all of ten mins thanks to you 👍🏾
It's literally the best spot on video. Took @ 15 minutes, probably 7 minutes if I had my tools organized!! Ty very much
I must said to replace side mirror you DON'T NEED TO REMOVE DOOR PANEL
Thank you thank you thank you!! This was a great video. Nothing left to wonder about. Step by step instructions.
Thank you! This was a huge help! We were able to do it ourselves with the help of this video!
Great camera work. Finally don't have to deal with nausea
Great video! But I’m not sure why you would not talk about the sizes of the tools you used.
Used this to help me and everything worked out perfectly! Great video
Thank you for this. I just did mine. Simple and not a damn lecture!👑🖤💪🏾

Thanks I’m going to try this ! What tools did you use for this job for the screws
Thank you so much. I finish it in 10 minutes. Very easy.
thanks this video was very helpful!
My original is heated- I found a color match heated but it has a puddle light. Will it still connect?
Any idea if the heated mirrors will work if installed on the 2012 SE trim that didn't come with them originally?
I noticed the new mirror is different. The previous mirror was painted and the new mirror a black plastic exterior. Is there a way to preserve the painted mirror housing.
Hi does anyone know what tools exactly are needed, I know the first part is a T20 wrench but what about the rest

Wish you could tell us what size of sockets and Ford sizes we need to use on these videos
What tools do I need specifically for this job?
Well that was easy and predictable. Perfect how-to, well done.
Is the passenger's side pretty much identical with no extra steps? Also, where did you get your replacement?
Yes it is. I recommend buying a used mirror from a salvage yard. Google used car parts, and you’ll see a bunch of junk yards with them in stock. Wayyy cheaper. Only caveat - they usually only take phone orders and are open only during banking hours. Good luck!
What tool do I need to remove the mirror?
Thanks so much! very helpful!

Thanks for the vid. Does anyone know if it’s possible to swap over the colored part of the mirror housing, or would that have to be painted?
Painted bro , unless you get a factory colour
