@@Aleesh1881 I'm 100% positive anyone that complained about this game has never played it. I didn't complain but fell for the negative hype of "Joel fan-boys" and held off on buying it; but after beating it twice I'm extremely happy I played it.
@@josephgrizzly9634 Me to. Because in the fist two hour ( Actually, when the game is out, and I started to play) I saw the 2.9 at Metacritic and other websites. Horrible and shameful. But now Ghost Of T. is out and 9.2, great job 👏👏👏. They're telling; Joel is dead, SJW, LGBT, revenge story with out revenge, Abby is a boy... OH GOD! If there's a problem in this game, this the Tommy from the beginning ( When the Abby takes the shotgun, he just watched. And you know what? I figured it out, at my 5th gameplay. ) I am just waiting for game awards.

Actually in my first try. I killed bear but after listening his name. I just restart encounter to not to kill him.

I can’t imagine how horrible it must have been for Ashley to do *that* scene. Considering all the tremendous loss she’s gone through in her life I’m just really sorry she had to go through that.

You guys don’t understand. The amount of imagination needed by each actor to act in the moment with literally no props or costumes to help you is extremely difficult. Props to these actors acting their faces off, and having fun while doing it.

This is amazing, i absolutely adore what they do. The amount of time and effort that goes into this type of art is spectacular. Naughty Dog does not fck around when it come to their games. Especially with The Last Of Us 2. 💚

I wish I could’ve known which bits were mocap and which were Cg, I wish I could give the guys their props for that breaking away from the rat king scene, I had no idea they had to act these parts out and I wasn’t able to fully appreciate the effort and acting that went into it. Guy looked super realistic in the side by side I’m just sad I didn’t realise it the first time around

Motion capture actors should be winning oscars. And as an actress myself, it is such a challenge to create a whole world when it's not even there. Film sets create the world for you and helps. But these people literally have to be IN it throughout the technical things and props. Amazing.
That's what theatre actors do too, and the whole point of the Oscars is that it's specifically for film, that's why even TV actors can't qualify but they have the Emmy's instead
I so badly want the mocap footage of the Abby and Ellie fights in the theater and at the beach to be released. I just think that'd be super interesting to watch since Ashley and Laura are friends irl
i know i’m late to this but in the official podcast, it was mentioned that they both just sat and sobbed together after the beach scene. :(

Ya, it’s crazy just how much went into this amazing game!
My favourite part is rat king stalker separation. They basically need to know how to ride a horse, rool on the floor (professionaly), shoot, fight, sing. They made custom piping, brought a horse and a dog. That is why this game is an absolute masterpiece.

Sadly people still hate on it on every occasion they can. The worst part is that most of these people never played the game. 🤷♂️ They’re missing out, TLOU2 is the best game I’ve ever played.

Normally Animated exactly and then they will hate on anyone who likes the game. They are determined to make Naughty Dog fail when most haven’t played the game. It’s like how 2 hours after the game came out it had like the most reviews on metacritic when 95% probably didn’t have the game then and they couldn’t have finished it. It’s so stupid. At least people have managed to get the user score up.

the amount of time and energy performers put into bringing these characters to life is just mind boggling. whether you love the game or you hate it, you've got to respect the actors for giving us 100% of their talent and effort

I wish more games put the effort into motion capture, animations and attention to detail that naughty dog does. Other companies just don't put this kind of effort into it like they do. They're so far ahead in this department.
Completely agree, I have not seen to this day a game as well made as this one. Even Far Cry 6 looked amazing in the trailer but then compared to last of us 2... Meh it's okay, naughty dog are so ahead of competition! I've never seen cinematics like this before and it does feel like every character is real! Makes you wanna interview them 😂

People get so ready to shit on this game just because of one element in the entire game (the story and its director) while ignoring everything else that they did right and put so much effort in. The actors, the camera crew, the art department, vfx, sound design, everyone did their best and beyond with the awful working conditions of Naughty Dog, and it seems really unfair to me that all of this is overlooked that easily.

What's also amazing is those rooms are white and bars and the actors have to imagine being in a sewar or dark train tunnel and react accordingly. That is a fantastic talent in itself!
