The duplicity of the United States, which turned away the St.Louis, when FDR was SILENT,
versus the importation of Nazis, some of which started NASA, under 'Operation Paperclip'...
is the real history. At Yalta, what happened there was also foretelling a massive failure

@@den264 Let us remember when a 2 state solution was offered to the Palestinians, the response was to attacks Jews. Since 1947 every offer of peace and a new partition was rejected with violence. The Palestinians don't want a state of their own, they don't want the Jews to have a state.

@@danlivni2097 You re trying to tell me that the hundreds of Palestinians who mattered themselves over years "don't want a homeland " so why would they blow their bodies to pieces for ! Just for the fun of it. No nationality on earth is going to passively give p its land "even a portion of it" to an invading force. Britain had no right to just had over a piece of another nations land to its political friends. And because it did ths in Ireland, India, Pakistan, Canada, the Falklands etc. Does not make it right. As for meeting your foes with violence ! Look at how he Zionist Jews treated its alies, the British. They murdered over one hundred of them in the King David hotel bombing. Then they murdered Churchill's best friend Lord Moyen "Earl of Guiness" And the Swedish Count Bernadot who came to the region to act as a conciliator for the troubles. This count incidentally saved the lives of thousands of innocent Jews who were destined for the death camps in Germany. So please don't talk of violence perpetrated by the Palestinians. Just look at more recent incidents of violence by the IDF in the government sponsored attack on Gaza called "caste lead" where over three thousand innocent Palestinians were murdered in a for day period. You and your fellow Jews are an embarrassment to all the other peace loving nations on earth. I guess that is the reason no Israel representative was invited to the queen's funeral today.

Just terrible. All of the Jewish people should have been allowed into the United States, whether temporary until after the war was over, or permanent. These were peaceful people. The Christian (Jewish ancestry) singer and evangelist Keith Green said, "This generation of people is responsible for this generation of souls." We're all supposed to take care of each other, no matter what country we come from

    • @den264

Totally agree ! However there appears to be a million times more focus on the history of the Holocaust than on the equally disturbing history of nakba. The history of the plight of the Palestinians has been well documented on RUclips. In fact it is even better covered than the attrocities enacted on the blacks in south Africa. This brings up the question of why are more people in the west not speaking out on behalf of the Palestinians. Are they afraid of being labelled antisemitic or are they really islamophobic and look at the Arabs as a lower species. That being said I can only conclude that most American Jews are racists.

Palestinian leadership has held the whole middle East as hostage for years. The Gulf Arab countries see through the BS now.
There is literally NO upside for Palestinian leaders if a peace deal is reached. They'd no longer be able to skim aid money, and they'd be responsible for actually running a country instead of blaming everything on Israel.

What makes me cry is the indifference and lack of attention given to the Palestinian plight in the middle east. When there is so much coverage of the issue on TV and te internet no one in the west can say that they have no knowledge of it. It equally depresses me to see so much attention and support given to the Ukraine populace, when the Palestinians have had to bear a foreign military presence in their land for neigh on eighty years. Football matches all over Europe show total support for the Ukrainians. Prime ministers, foreign ministers and all levels of dignitaries come on TV to show their dying support for Ukraine. So why are they all mute on the Palestinian issue ? They are either terrified of the antisemitic label, or they are simply racists. They do not consider Arabs to be on the same footing as western whites like the Ukrainians. What a pathetic word we live in today, where American Jews can dictate the rules to the rest of the world.

What is not said is that all those who had visas in order were welcomed, those who were turned back did not have such visas. So, was it proper to turn them back? Legally, yes, morally, I don't know, that was before the war began so it's difficult to form a just opinion about it but since Cuba was one of two countries willing to take these refugees, we shouldn't be too hard on it.
