She also said “Jae is the kindest, most wholesome person. “ and that he says the nicest things about people and does a lot to make people happy. She said this during the time that Jae was still streaming. She said that Jae streams a lot because he just wants to give people something to watch and enjoy now that the pandemic is going on and we have nothing to do. This makes me miss Jae’s streams :(
@@seoulsoul5134 I just found out Dive Studios and Jae's HDIGH like a week ago. I have been binge watching it and have done all episodes. I even have re-watched some my fav eps. His views and thoughts about the topics are v interesting to listen. I also found out eaj music and they're damn great. The combination of his voice, the lyrics and the melody melts in my ear so nicely. Jae is one of the most wonderful person in this world I've ever seen that I LOVE and RESPECT him both as a musician and human being. Now I'm a big fan of him and I can never have a chance to watch his Twitch streams 😭😭😭 eotteohge!?
@@kellymay844 there are quite a few YT channels that have jae's streams recorded..you can watch those ..just look up Jae twitch stream or smthg .. there's a channel called mumuchan .. I watched most of his streams there :)

I respect Sam Kim a lot. The brother’s music saved me back in 2019 when my life seemed so hopeless.

The more I get to know Jae, the more my love and respect for him as a person and artist GROWS. I don’t think the image of him being funny and approachable is all that bad, because that’s what makes him relatable and human and I love him for it but I hope people can go past that. There are sooo many layers to this man. He’s GREAT at his craft and is just a really KIND person. I’ve seen a lot of people who know him (co-artists, irls, twitch friends and his members) profess their love for him publicly (exhibit a: Keshi and AleXa on hdigh ep 50 😉) because he’s just THAT likeable when you get to know him and they really want the world to know that.
I’m glad Jae has friends who check on him when he’s down- cause no matter how many encouraging messages we tweet him, I’m sure that’s different from being comforted by people who know him personally. This may sound a bit dramatic but yeah, there’s a limit to what we fans can do, no matter how much we love him and how worried we are. Hurts but true.
I just hope you know that there are people who SINCERELY LOVE AND RESPECT YOU from a distance, JAE. We sincerely pray for you and your happiness, because your words and music helped us continue living.

I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again, SAM KIM HAS THE MOST SOOTHING VOICE IN THE ENTIRE WORLD
Something I always tell my friends when they apologize for 'burdening' me with their problems is "it's a privilege to worry about you". Like I don't think it's helpful to pretend that caring about someone else is never a burden. But the thing is that i WANT to do it anyway. I just think that's the type of thing people need to hear sometimes.

I am basically like AleXa, I have this need to be self reliant. But recently something personal happened and all the emotions kind of bubbled up and I had to lean on others to help me and at first it was so weird, but I was glad to have my brother and best friend around to help me. And I rather be there for others, although that is difficult for me because I never want to be in anyone's personal space. But seeing Sam and Alexa reach out to Jae and him appreciating, I guess there isnt any harm in reaching out to ppl.

being a person that others can lean on... yep, that gives me a whole new life purpose. like, you're being needed? THAT gives me a sense of...purpose(?) and a reason to go on. and having someone to lean on? it's like having a ray of hope. when you're on the verge of breaking, that one person become the rope to help you holding on. having someone to lean on and be the person to be leaned on, both give me a purpose to live.
Like many others have said in the comments, we the My Days have your back Jae! You've made us feel more like family than just fans, so we gotta send that love back. And so happy both Sam and Alexa checked up on you.
Really good point, I think people need to find the balance of helping and speaking about their feelings, too. Like recently I have a friend that is JUST leaning on me and it gets too much. And my friend never asks how my day was, how I feel. Even when I try to say something about myself, they are not really listening. I don't wanna be a bad friend and still help out, because they feel bad at the moment. But what about me? It tires me out and I don't know if that's good.... It sounds selfish, but I can't do everything...

This is actually super interesting, I've never thought about how like leaning on someone and them just sitting still straight up will feel uncomfortable but when you both lean on each other it's comfortable and how Jae related that back to the actual metaphorical meaning of leaning on one another really made me go 👁👄👁 Also him saying maybe that's what soulmates are SJDFP It really might be that tho, just finding that balance between u and another person.

Respect is so important..lack of respect beats you down. Imo, respect is more important than love because you can have someone who loves you but doesn't respect you.
Not sure if anyone watched the other podcasts but in Nonsensible last week with the guest actor David Mclnnis, they talk about that happening especially in the Korean public where people will only know you for one thing if you do it majority of their time. Like you can be an insanely talent person but if you appear on variety shows or act people will know you more that. Like Sorn from CLC. She is known more as a tiktoker more than and being an idol.
Edit: Also I totally felt what sam said. I am that person lol I like taking care of people but don't want others to do the same. But you do need a chance for others to allow to the same for you. It is important ( not all the time) but to be a little selfish.
I think the issue is everything is online, so new fans watch old videos and it keeps getting recycled in the fandom. In reality, we all go through phases we change but in our case no one is recording us 24/7, so it's a little harder for celebs/public figures to shed their previous image. In Jae's case its already working, people are starting to know him for his solo stuff but are also seeing him for being a great composer for Day6's songs, he has a heavy hand in a lot of their work. Our previous image or younger self will always be a part of who we are but circumstances and just growing older causes us to change and thats perfectly normal. (lol sorry this is very long).
