That looks uhhh-maze-ing!!!! I would leave the inside corners alone. They look super. Fantastic work, you two!
I would agree, that spalded pine looks good just the way it is.
Rhett
THE INSIDE CORNERS ARE CLEAN AND MODERN WITHOUT TRIM. I wouldn’t clutter the inside corners. What you have done looks wonderful, with very clean lines and the natural wood still connects well with the outside world. You two are doing an exceptional job. Katie I admire your skill and workmanship, you are a pro with a wonderful sense of design.
Y'all do good work. Amazing how well you work together without wanting to kill each other. You were truly made for each other.
It turned out Beautiful 😍 Katie, if it looks complete, than no more trim. I love it!
VERY nice job and this comes from a wood worker of 62 years
So nice to see someone working with teal wood.
Your woodwork is absolutely beautiful. You should be very proud of yourselves. 😊
You are one tough woman!!! You have pipes!!
This is a real testament to your offgrid power supply - running the vacuum, planer and presumably a compressor plus lights. That's great.
Nice to have a partner who will hold a vacuum pipe while you hand plane.
Looks great hard to believe you we’re basically learning how to build a house and now you dam good carpenter,100 thumbs up to y’all
The wall looks AWESOME!! I LOVE the blue-grey highlights!!
That is a "WOW" guys. Looks incredible. ❤
The walls for the staircase walls look amazingly beautiful!! As far as the inside corner, I’d leave it as is - adding a little strip might make it look a “little busy”. Honestly, I wouldn’t change a thing. You to must be so proud of yourselves for this project and you should be. Flipflop with socks guy - get a new router bit! The little bit of detail that it makes is important. So glad Katie added that little clip! Already looking forward to the next.
Looks like a great day for outside work.
Katie I think it's beautiful, and would leave well enough alone. How many times will anyone going up of down the stairs will look at those two corners? Just seal or stain it and you're done. You two work so hard to do things just right and that is a point of pride for yourselves. Congratulations!!!
WOW ❤ AMAZING
The wood wall is beautiful! Nice job guys
You have done an amazing job, beautiful workmanship. Even more special is that you have used your own milled lumber.
Wow the beauty of natural wood. It looks great
It Looks Amazing!
The wood you're using is absolutely beautiful and will just get better with time ... thanks for letting me ride along with y'all on this journey
That railing top sure gives it a finished look. Alan
You two have done just an awesome job. Incredible workmanship. You should be proud. God Bless
Upper staircase wall Looks excellent!!
❤️ Beautiful. Trim inside corner only if it’s going to bug you in the future. Putting a plant or cabinet in front of it, no one will notice.
Smashing! As they say over here, it looks brilliant, no trim .
That pine is beautiful. The inside corners look nice and tight, so I would leave those as is. It's a nice clean rustic look. Nice job!
Hello hope all is well. For some reason I must resubscribe every time I check in on your post.
I like your old goats they are fun to watch. It was 83 here in Tampa yesterday but 68 today. 😊
That stair wall looks great.
Looks beautiful guys
The wall looks great! Y’all do good work. It looks good the way it is. We enjoy your content.
Leave center alone,, it all looks great, y'all both do such good work,, I know I do wood work myself,,❤
Amazing job on the wall. Absolutely love the look. I think trim in the corners will give it a more finished look. Just my opinion. From a mom's perspective, Katie you looked beautiful in this video. Hello to Greg and all your animal babies. Blessings to you both.
Leave it!! Absolutely beautiful!!
Stairwell looks great! I would mill some 3/8" X 3/8" trim boards out of the same lumber for the inside corners. Doesn't need much at all. Good job, guys!
Katie it's looking gorgeous. The corner looks great to me if you won't to fancy it up you could use a small inside corner trim. You to do such a great job with milling your own lumber, trim and doing all your building. I can't criticize anything you all do.❤❤❤
Stunning!!! You should be so proud!😘
Yall just knock it out, teamwork!
That turned out beautifully 😊. Inside corners look good the way they are.
I appreciate how you work and think strategically. Your choice of wood is stellar and that area of your house is so beautiful. I love what you are creating!
Before you write off the router bit, bring it inside and make sure doesn’t just have ice in it. If it turns when it’s warm, oil up the bearing and put it back to use. Because it’s not turning it’s trying to turn the bit backwards and loosening the collet.
Leave the corners the way they are. Looks Great!!!
AWESOME!!! HAVING THE BUILDING EXPERIENCE I DO, I SAY THE TRIM LOOKS GREAT, AND THAT CORNER IS SO CLEAN AND PLANKS ALIGNED, LEAVE IT, IT FLOWS PERFECT. WELL DONA AND ALL THE HARD WORK, NATURAL MATERIALS ARE PAYING OFF IN LOOK AND FUNCTION... BRAVO TO YOU ALL. YA IM STOKED TO SEE THAT STORAGE BARN UTILIZED, GREG BEING HOME NOW SO MUCH GETTIN DONE CONGRATS AGAIN. ENJOY EACH DAY, NO ONE KNOWS TOMORROW. BE BLESSED YA ALL. 🙏🙏🙏👍👍☝☝🔨🪓🪚🚜
Really nice finish work guys !!! And all from wood you milled !! And I love the goats 🐐
What a beautiful home you are creating.
In this style of finish, less is more. No trim on the interior corners. Looks great!
Looks beautiful!!!!
I think better without the trim in the corner….the simplicity makes it look longer and the space bigger !
I love love love the wall that you built near the staircase. You did a awesome job it’s beautiful.
The walls look great! If there aren't any large gaps on the inside corners I would leave it be, it adds to the rustic look I think.
Use a piece of quarter round for inside corners. Woo has lots of character
Woodwork is gorgeous. Excellent work!
You guys, the staircase walls turned out so beautiful!!! I can’t wait to see you guys finish the stairs with that wood you saved a looooong time ago for them!! 😊❤
Thanks so much!!
Usually no need to trim out inside corners unless it looks gappy. Looks amazing as it is.
3:50 You can advance the guide of your under-table milling machine on the cutter to adjust the cutting depth you want to make on your boards. This way you can use the cutter without the bearing. All you have to do is push the boards against the guide on either side of the cutter.
Leave the inside corners alone. They look clean! Great job!
You should trim-out all corners. Love the raw wood look. Fantastic finish.
You could use quarter round for the inside corners. Smaller the better. It would hide what you need and pretty much become invisible after you stain.
I like you used the blue wood
Great work Greg,& Katie! Love how y’all put in the work. The results are always phenomenal. See ya next time.💯👍🏾😀🫶🏾💜✝️🙏🏾🇺🇸
looks really good with the cap on the wall, and the pine trim. Inside corners look fine without the trim.
Outstanding Craftsman ship!!😇 Great Job guys!😇!😇
Love it! The natural colors of the wood looks fantastic. Great job guys!
Katie, I think you should trim out the inside corners the same as you did the outside corners, I would suggest that you make a short one up and see how you like before going all in !
Personally, I’d leave the inside corners as they are. It looks great! Later, after you’ve lived with it a while… you could put a small table, bookshelf or basket to camouflage it.
Once again you guys out did yourselves, shipman looks awesome. All left to do is trim and u will have a beautiful room
Your projects always turn out so beautiful!! Maybe just a simple 1/4" v bead on those inside corners....
a inside cove corner would look nice . Very nice work you have done so far.
You two are so talented!! That looks wonderful!! You should be so proud. 👍😍
Wow, it looks amazing! Must be very gratifying to tick another task off of the “to do” list. 😁
Absolutely gorgeous woodwork! And it’s all from your own land and your own hands!
That beetle-kill is insanely gorgeous! So beautiful...and what great work you both did fitting it all; love watching you work together!
This may not be y'all's "style", but what about natural rope, like jute, for the corner butt trim? Maybe too rustic, but it popped into my head.
Keep up the fantastic work! Love your videos, and your music selections!
Nah I wouldn't trim the inside corners it looks good as is. Great job you two. Have a great day 🙂💐
Beautiful, well done to the both of you.Your hard work has paid off,it is lovely. The dog is lovely.👏👏👏🌺.
Beautiful! Well done. I'd leave the inside corners untrimmed.
Looks beautiful!!! Leave the corners as is. I like them as they are 😊
If your boards fit tight on the inside corners just leave it like it is if you have gaps then trim it out
LOOKS FANTASTIC!
Beautiful! I like the inside corners with no trim!
I’m so enjoying to watch your channel weekly , ❤
The wall looks really good.
One step at a time everything looks beautiful that you do ❤ lots of hard work into it from your heart and soul💕
It looks beautiful you both have such great taste love watching you both and your fur babies
The Shiplap looks really good 👏
Hey guys, I always cope my inside corners. Alternating left then right, butt a left piece on then scribe a right side, butt a right side, then scribe a left, rinse & repeat. You can also add a 1"x1" first then butt all to that inside corner. Outside corners can be 45 degree scribed as well for a much cleaner look. This looks amazing when you use a lap siding with no inside or outside corner trims. This method when doing lap siding requires every board be the exact same width.
Rockn them Jean's n the thumbnail 👍🏻💃🤩
And good job Greg!!!🔨✏📐
no trim required at internal corners. Looks superb.
Turned out great, if you trim the outside, trim the inside. Also trim out the windows, it will make a huge difference.
Folks when it comes to your storage she/mill cover. Some of your viewers concerns are just concerns, others are busybodies. I say you do you. Gathering different opinions can be helpful, but bottom line is it’s your decision. Keep up the good work 👍🏼
Great work, you are an inspiration to DIYers everywhere!
John the Master Electrician here. The short corner wall, why no electrical outlets for a lamp on a table with a nice chair. In the USA the code would require at least one receptacle on each short wall greater than 2'.
The wood is gorgeous , great job guys ❤️
The wall looks great.
Looks great!! On the inside corner trim - depends. If you’re wanting to hang things for holidays, I’d suggest a 1” x 1” piece. That way you can put in small eye screws to the trim & leave the main wall “unholy”…but not in the bad way 😉 That way it’s an easy hang & take down
The wall looks amazing !
Love it. I like the natural wood look.
I am glad you guys had enough material milled to complete your project. It looks great in the video. I was worried you would get 80% finished and run out of usable pieces.
Work for a guy 15 yrs ago that ran a sawmill and cut thousands of board feet of beetle kill and was sold mostly in the US. Something most dont realize is that once cut and exposed the blue stain fades away.
I wouldn’t bother with that corner. Looks great!
The shiplap turned out beautiful well done! Honestly it looks wonderful!
