I make puffy snow with baking soda, modge podge and what ever color you want. If snow add acrylic white paint. Then add heat to it. It will rise while heating up. I would love to see what they look like after being out a whole. Could you please let know? As i would like to make some this year.

I've just tried the shaving cream and baking soda. Loved it when I first made it. Kept it overnight in a metal bowl to see how it would stand up in a diorama but the shaving cream seemed to evaporate.

Some things interact with metals. Try plastic containers. 😊

How long does the shaving cream/baking soda mix last? If used for a little holiday village. If it would last the season, it's perfect!

Be advised ... baking soda and shaving cream snow will eventually turn yellow in time (within weeks). You'll need to added white acrylic paint to the recipe. Once glued to the diorama, it wouldn't hurt to also touch it up with white acrylic to further prevent yellowing.

Wouldn't feminine pads be a substitute for diapers? I know you can use them instead with paper clay🤔🤨

So, if you're using the faux snow as in baking soda and shaving cream, in a diorama, after spreading the snw as necessary, how do you fix it permanently to the scene?
