So when will we get a SUV in the UK that can actually (comfortably) seat 7 passengers AND still have boot space? I find it amazing that with the size of these cars (vans) these days there still isn't enough room. I have a Lexus RX-L at the moment and with our 17 year old disabled son in the back and the back seats right up to his knees and the front seats up forward almost to the point where my knees are touching the dashboard, my parents still couldn't get in to the middle row because of the A pillar (??) sorry if I got this wrong. To me, we have a huge car and technically we don't need 7 seats as our family is only 5, but for safety reasons due to our son's violent anxiety attacks, we need to have him in the back, giving us enough time to pull over. Yes he can and does still climb over but it allows us enough time to stop safely. But there are many family's that do need more than 5 seats. I really thought that when Lexus stopped selling the RX-L in favour, it seems, of the new LM "van" that this would finally give the leg room all around PLUS have a normal boot space. The UK really loses out to these "big" SUV's as Asia, Middle East and America (not sure about Australia as haven't checked) all have super huge cars with loads of space. In the UK, our cars are getting bigger on the outside and smaller on the inside, and in most cases they are getting smaller all around. Just look at the Tesla Model X which is described as an SUV. With 7 seats in that, there is NO boot space! and from the outside it just looks like a sports coupe. I know we probably need to consider something like a Mercedes V Class, but that is a true Van! I want a comfortable car with all the luxury and comfort of a car (we often do trips across Europe for our holidays), but the vans are often, well like you would expect a van to be...meant for either business or carrying people short haul from an airport for example. Come on car manufacturers, there must be something you can do. I mean cut out a lot of the wasted front space! There is so much wasted space up front either from the massive bonnet to the massive dashboard to the windscreen. Ok, maybe there is a reason, but there must be something that can be done. We used to have MPV's with 7 seats and loads of space as well as loads of boot space which were much smaller overall size. Rant over! Happy New Year everyone 😀

Interesting video, not sure how it actually converts from 3 rows to 2 rows + entertainment systems. And nothing about the engine & drivetrain, hope the hybrid system is a huge upgrade from the Toyota Sienna's.
This would make a fantastic limo vehicle too. Most limo companies have moved away from sedans in favor of SUVs, but let's be realistic. If you're trying to be accommodating, SUV is not exactly the most comfortable passenger vehicle due to unnecessary height, nor does it have the most space inside.
Lol won’t ever be used in a business sense due to lack of luggage space. If you want a spacious vehicle with a high quantity interior you would still buy the Merc V class then have the interior revamped but those that go down that route are still limited in there customer appeal and mostly used by touring bands for a few months of the yr.
