Bolt starts at $20 per month and goes up from there. I’ve managed to stay in the limit of this package but that is because I export the code once I have the app outlined and then put functions into it using Cursor. Replit is $25 per month. I did run out of responses while trying to do the same thing but if you are just working inside replit without exporting the code you will probably have the same cost as Bolt because I also pay for Cursor.
ultimately these are toys to create prototypes and that a good thing. But in the end you won't want to lock in your infrastructure to a black box where you have no control over the costs or how it scales etc. You need control over all the modules in the system.
You can download your code and deploy how you would like. Personally I use Firebase but I’ve also used AWS. It would depend on you. You are not forced by any of these platforms to deploy using their infrastructure. You are welcome to use your own.
