Bobby Fischer’s Best Chess Game Ever! | Fischer vs R. Byrne - US, 1963 | The Brilliancy Prize
HTML-код
- Опубликовано: 25 июл 2024
- Here's a review of a Great Game of chess played between Robert Eugene Byrne and Bobby Fischer in 1963 in New York, USA. This game was played in the US Championship & was awarded the Brilliancy Prize at that time. I believe this is the best game of Bobby Fischer, even better than his 'game of the century'. Let me know what you think.
Robert Byrne was playing with the white pieces & Robert James Fischer was playing with black pieces. The opening played was the King's Indian / Grunfeld Defense. This game has an exciting story behind it. Fischer was on a roll - such fierce determination to play for the win, even with the Black pieces, is a Fischer hallmark. 20 years old, Grandmaster Robert James Fischer was already among the world's very best chess players. In this brilliancy, Fischer demonstrates how to inject multiple imbalances into a highly symmetrical position, how to properly highlight these differences to benefit from it, and how to accurately assess the true value of the pieces as they rest on the chessboard. By the way, I also have a chess puzzle for you all, let's see if you can solve that.

Is this Bobby Fischer's Best Game Ever?
What do You Think?
his every game is the best game
His game is best
Love your videos Chess Talk!
It maY be
Yes! Indeed! Please give me a heart Chess Talk!
The answer for the puzzle starts by following sequence:- Queen a7 check, king to capture is the forced move, then Ra5, then king b8 is again forced to the black king, then knight to b6, can't capture knight because the c pawn is pinned to the king with the bishop which is on h2, no matter whatever move black plays, the checkmate cant be stopped, the last move is rook to a8!😊
Edit : Spelling mistake and the heart is gone 💔
Knight to b6 ..
Thanks 4 d explanation bro
I wrote this answer 5 hours ago. 1 hour earlier than you but didn't got heart . you got that. 🙄
Wow
Nice 😚
not knight to c6,its knight to b6
This was the best chess game ever by the greatest player of all time. The fact that Byrne resigned shows how great both players were. And the synchronized opening makes it so classical because it is entirely possible to play a great player like this until a breaking point.
Yep, I suppose this is his best game ever. And even it teaches me the art of sacrificing
i dont agree his beat ever
.but it was good
I sacrifice pieces while playing
I always Sacrifice my King and that’s all
@@mohamedayaan2220 🤣🤣👍
If you think so then watch Tal's game that will blow your mind....
Mikhail Tal means sacrifice sacrifice and win the game...
When Tal sacrifice his opponent got worried that what will going to happened....
@@mohamedayaan2220 I feel sorry for you.
If you beat the world champion , then you are the world champion - Bobby Fischer
If you kill the world champion, then no one is the world champion - Me
"If you beat the world champion, then he's not the world champion anymore"
-Me,sort of
He should have followed up with “If you can’t, go into hiding for the rest of your life”
If u disguise as the world champion, then u have two world champions
If an Engin beat world champion, then who is the world champion? - Me
It starts with the queen sacrifice queen to a7, king capture, rook to a5 check, king to b8 only possible move, knight to b6, pawn on c7 can't capture due to the absolute pin by h2 bishop, no matter what black plays, rook to a8 is a beautiful checkmate.
According to the position I see Qxa7+! Kxa7 (forced) Ra5#
Great solution my frnd ✌
Superb
@@eddarby469 There’s still a pawn on c7.
@@AllYourBaseAreBelongToU5 You're right. On the darkened screen of my phone with the video paused I couldn't see the pawn.
this is indeed a very memorable match, it shows that sacrificing a piece has its own value. I've just started chess and when I searched rules and how to play them I first found this channel, its very easy to understand and very awesome to watch too
For the puzzle solve:
Qa7, check
Ka7, takes
Ra5, check
Kb8
And knight b6 leading king with no moves to save it, white last move will be Ra8, checkmate.
04:28 "now we have a family fork" Loved the way u said it
Yeah, family fork was really good. Jitendra has class not just in playing chess but also in the way he speaks...
It forks the family
@@ravirajmayapur nah it’s family folk
This game like many others of his, was no doubt surgically well done by the famous Bobby Fischer, whom I call the Robin Hood of chess -- a supreme mind that understood the meaning of the unexpected -- using a bow in one hand and an arrow in the other. Excellent!
crazy how the game looks so simple here at face value. it's reading all the possibilities that makes it mind blowing
The pace with which you ex plained and also pronunciations were were equally good.
Amazing!
What a classic!! Thanks for showing this to us and enlightening us.
I'm really good at sacrificing and sacrifice my king almost game
Edit: it is sad that people don't understand this is a joke
You can’t sacrifice a king
@@KingZorLink21 how can you not realise its a joke
@@siddhartha.... I can

@@KingZorLink21 You weren't joking!
It doesn't seem so!
Bobby Fisher was a real genius, this was 1 in a million!!
Just 1 in a million? The world has played trillions of games altogether and there are a million of millions in a trillion. It means that you're saying that this game isn't so unique. I disagree. It's 1 in a trillion.

Really this is a brilliant game with good ideas. Amazing.
It looks unreal ! Thanks 🙏

I love these game analysis and the speaker who presents them is really good.
Answer for the puzzle is
Qxa7+ Kxa7
Ra5+ Kb8
Nb6 (threatening Ra8#) Qc8
Ra8#
Loved this game! I think it is tied for Fischer's best game along with his game of the century. Here's the answer to the puzzle:
Qxa7+, Kxa7, Ra5+, Kb8, Nb6, and whatever black does, next move is Ra8#
I was just scrolling to confirm it😅😅
@@icemastergaming9811 Nice One!😂
Brilliant idea
Nice moves!
Ra-?, Kb8-?, Nb6-? Stands for what sorry I’m learning the chess language
This is the best game I have ever seen in my life
You look at the most common and most logical move. But Fischer always came up with something different. He wasn’t interested in slight improvements. He just wanted to go for the kill.
Give to take....back win is the theme I found here...🌿👍👏👏👏🌹🤝⚡️
The answer for the puzzle starts by following sequence:- Queen a7 check, king to capture is the forced move, then Ra5, then king b8 is again forced to the black king, then knight to b6, can't capture knight because the c pawn is pinned to the king with the bishop which is on h2, no matter whatever move black plays, the checkmate cant be stopped, the last move is rook to a8.
Excellent upload - thanks - you are explaining very simply and making us understand the complexities. It's very thrilling for us now to watch these game.
Was a great gane and beautiful breakdown. Thanks bro
Love your videos!!
Answer for puzzle: Qa7 ,Ka7 ,Ra5 ,Kb8 ,Nb6 (He cannot take the knight due to the bishop), whatever black plays then rook a8 is a checkmate!

Man, chess can be absolutely beautiful. This was a work of art.
Right up there with crosswords and Sudoku…
chess puzzle - 1. check with the white knight 2. black pawn takes knight 3. queen sacrifice and check 4. rook gives check, bishop is discovered check and check mate
Love your work Jitendra Sir

Awesome video sir and awesome game!
One of the best Chess Players of All-time.. it's always a treat to watch any of Fisher's Game ... He always comes out with something new on the board and every move and game of his, is always a chapter that can be recorded in a book.
One of the biggest admirers of him and his games.
Hands down one of the best chess channels on RUclips... Great analysis of Fischer's brilliancy👍. Will be regular to your channel from today onwards.
Great learnings and explaination... Thanks
Absolutely brilliant!
Didn't know a better game. Simply brilliant
this is indeed a great match..... in about 15 moves he had trap set ready... and I was inspired by these moves. Pretty awesome moves of GM Bobby Fischer and that sacrifice was unimaginable for me.
One of the best in times 😍
thank you for making this video ❤❤❤❤💕💕💕💕💕💕 very helpful
I loved his analysis ❤️ and the game was superb🔥🔥Btw the puzzle answer:-
Qxa7+Kxa7 which is the only legal move he has
Ra5+ Kb8 wch is again only legal move
And now finally we hav Nb6, the pawn cant take as it pinned to the king & now whatever moves black plays the final move frm white would be Ra8#
Thanks @chesstalk for a brilliant video and an amazing chess puzzle✌️✌️
I love Chess Talk so much! Thank you, Jeetendra for taking your time to help players like me to help win chees games!
Thanks for a great video! 😊
hi sir!
i found the answer to your chess puzzle, here is the solution:
1. Qxa7+
2. Kxa7
3. Ra5+
4. Kb8
5. Nb6 (Remember that the knight cannot be taken by the c pawn since it is pinned to the the king by the bishop on h2.)
6. Whatever move black plays, there is no way to defend it. Suppose Qe8
7. We play Ra8#
I would also like to thank you for featuring my game yesterday in the Saturday Night Tournamnet. Thank you very much!
Great game and even greater explanation...
Hats off sir 😊😊

Nowadays you are bringing always new ideas in your channel either streaming, types of checkmate pattern. Keep it up. Plz make a endgame series .
I love your videos very much 😃😃
Your videos are so interesting and informative I like your videos so much and I like you chess talk
When you are so early that you don't know what to comment
Well sacrificing important pieces in chess can give you a great advantage but I always get a checkmate after sacrificing my King
Solution to puzzle :-
queen captures on a7 pawn with a check .
king captures queen on a7 then (f5) rook to a5 with a check.
Only square left for king is b8.
Then (c4) knight to b6 and next move is going to be rook to a8 CHECKMATE.
black can't save the checkmate.
Great way for explaining
Finally I'm Soo happy u uploaded
I subbed him at 32k sub when he didn't do face reveal congrats on 700k and after many days a game, can you please make a game on Sultan Khan

its really a heroic moment when people think bobby resigned 🔥
WOW... BEING A GM IS A HUGE THING BUT THIS BOBBY GUY MUST HAVE BEEN ON ANITHER LEVEL FOR THIS LEVEL OF THINKING
Fischer and Tal were the greatest...
I like your direct-to-the-point take on this game. Other review versions have too many suggestions that I ended up skipping them. It's good to have opinions as a reviewer but too much beating around the bush is dragging. I like your style, thank you for keeping it concise! Now I'm a follower of your channel.
Hopefully Fischer is playing chess in heaven now.
He might be playing chess, but ...
I played the GM line for three moves, both ways, before he even shared the actual moves. I must be getting pretty good.
