Yes...please let the resort take the wheel...that's what my old roommate did and it was beautiful and this was back in 2008 in the DR...they had everything covered..right down to video and photography...she was pretty stress free. She had her reception party back home and played the footage in the background.
Thank you for sharing that story! It's great to hear about weddings that go smoothly and stress-free. I think I need to look more into the resort option because a lot of the comments are saying to go this route.
Congratulations. It all depends on your budget , location, if you want to have an inside or outside wedding. You must take into consideration the weather if you prefer an outside wedding. I would check on the different types venue spaces available for weddings and receptions such as churches, hotels resorts. etc. The prices vary. I would use a wedding planner if I could afford one. 😊

Wedding destination suggestion, I would say when you go for tropical areas beware of storm seasons, which can get pretty bad
Not married but I did help some family members w/ some ideas and helped with seating arrangements and other things. But if you are looking for a beach try Martha’s Vineyard I heard that is a good place if you don’t want to go to a foreign country and are looking for a beach.

I'm getting married this in Bali.....I was in the same position when I was in the beginning phase of planning once you find the perfect location for the two of you it'll get easier. I assisted my sister with planning her wedding in Curaçao. Let the resort or a wedding planner in the country that your wedding is in...one less stresser in the process of planning a wedding.

I was born and live in Barbados (Rihanna's home country)...The Crane all inclusive Resort...its beautiful! 😢We have beautiful beaches, tours, food etc. Lots of celebrities and tourists in general come to Barbados for that purpose and vacation in one. You can also get a tour of Rihanna's home, where she grew up etc.
