There would of been an rope and pully system attached to the door half way up the Manor. It would of been used for coal deliveries ect. Theres a few of them still dotted around Portsmouth.

It’s actually by Cosham, not sure why it’s classed as Portsmouth everywhere. The area is actually called Wymering 👍
